I love her. She has been my landscaper for 10 years. She did my landscaping on the front yard, and that was one project. She knows the grass and they maintain the plants. She did somebody's yard on my street and that is how I found her. Gail is the most creative visionary. I was in an area where everybody's landscaping looked the same in my neighborhood. Mine was completely different. She came up with something that was so different, and she actually listened to what I said. I am from New York, and we wanted to sit in the front yard, and be with the neighbors, instead of sitting in the back yard, even though I have a swimming pool in the back yard and it is nice. We wanted to sit out in the front, and so the front had to be nice. Everybody else in my area has like a little central walk with no place to sit. I had a bunch of companies that came to give me bids, and everybody did the same. They did the central walk, there was no place to sit, even though that is what I was asking for. Some people asked me for $1000 for the drawing. Gail came out with something so different, and it is so magical. Every time I leave my yard, it is so pretty. It is not that big, but it is so pretty. The flowers are out right now, and it looks beautiful. She has people that work for her, and it wasn't cheap but none of the other companies were cheap either, and she was going to do something so different. She is a small company and she is always on the job. If I don't like something she comes right out. She went with me, and we personally picked out all the plants together. Every time we change plants she personally comes over, even though I don't have a big yard. I know her now, her guys are very polite and professional. She is just very artistic and creative, but she is not inexpensive. You get what you pay for. You could get an inexpensive job if you wanted, but she is creative. She is the best. The price is fair for what you get.

I called Gail after I finished my pool project planning. I knew what I wanted to spend and had a good feeling about what I could get for my money. Gail met with me quickly and personally and I found her to be very informative, a great listener and we became old pals quickly. She got along with my family and her crews did excellent work with very little concerns. Gail designed around my budget and provided what I considered to be a good value. She might have been a little expensive, but having such a nice landscape has really been a dream. Thank you Gail Hartz and Associates.

I try to throw my business to women whenever possible. Called this company first. No one answered so I left a message. Called back 1 week later. I was told that Ms Hartz was out of town but would return my call within a week. Never heard from anyone again. Needless to say, I didn't use her.

They did not think that they could build the fountain but they did and it is perfect. They did lots of hardscaping. They were polite and neat. They cleaned up after themselves everyday. You would never know that they had been there working. They were very responsive.

Doing a little project with Gail Hartz is a challenge. She may or may not respond to your request for a quote. Once you contract with her she may not start your project for quite a while. But all these little frustrations seem to be worthwhile because Gail and her really perform excellent work at a fairly high price.
