About us

Custom Home Design firm since 1987, Janet L. Hobbs, a Certified Professional Building Designer principal. We are members of the American Institute of Building Design, Texas Institute of Building Design, Austin Green Building Program and National Association of Home Builders. We work with you to design the home then provide full working drawings for your home and will coordinate with other professionals you may need - septic designers, interior designers, structural engineers and any others that you need to have a completely buildable home that is just what you are looking for.

Janet's company is award-winning and I have known her for a long time. I am a realtor and she is excellent person in general. The client never ceased singing her praises and was quite happy with her pricing. She does the architectural stuff but she does not do the blueprints. What really stands out about her is her integrity and willingness to make these dreams come true. She does not impose her ideals on her design; she builds what the people want according to their needs.
Description of Work: I steered a client to Janet Hobbs of Hobb's Ink for house design.
