I was very happy with the result. Our yard is no longer soaked wet after a good rain. Lon was prompt at our scheduled appointment and was able to provide me an estimation on the same day. The team was friendly, professional and skilled. They worked quickly and left the work area clean. I highly recommend them.

Scope of work was much larger but had to scale back due to cost Sandy Rogers designed it and did a great job of listening to what I wanted, making suggestions and bringing it to reality She was very responsive and on the job to oversee. All crews were ver courteous, left s clean site when finished. I was very pleased. It took a while to get a detailed estimate but I did get one to assure we wer on the same page and I knew what I was paying for. The crew size was about 7 workers for the job. The other work we wanted done I seemed to be difficult for them to address without several meetings. Ultimately we did not do that work. I don't have the name of the irrigation sub but they did a good job. I had to work on assuring the scope of wrote with them too but they did above and beyond in the end. I feel their price was reasonable for the work performed. Sandy designed the landscape product and that was paid separatly

They did great work. He was punctual, professional, and knowledgable. A great improvement overall. We were very happy with their service and the final result.

The problem area was in a drainage field composed of Texas clay which was very difficult to dig in. In addition, there were two improperly install drain lines which had to be removed. Lon's guys install 6" French drain in a standard rock field surrounded with mesh. He provided 4 12" surface drains to handle surface water, connected two roof down spouts and a drain line from the deck into the French drain line. He finished the project by landscaping the drain field such that it was in a valley about 5-6" below the original surface height, and covered the entire project with new sod. While we have not had an opportunity to test the results (no rain:-)), we are confident that the new drain field will be extremely effective in keeping our deck area from flooding. The project area looks better now than before they started. The crew was extremely respectful of our property, and worked efficiently. They discussed the project in detail before they performed the work. We could not be happier with the results!

He knows his limitations and his expertise. Very pleasant. I was grateful he was honest and didn't try to just get the job.

Everything went great. They were able to start the work a day early, and completed the job sooner than projected. I had three neighbors report they watched the work and workers and were all highly impressed with the care taken to protect surrounding grass areas, and how hard teh staff worked. I even had one neighbor call and scheduel an installation of their own. Price was bit higher than another contractor, but it was well worth it. I will use him again.

- Surveyed the house and yard to provide several options/recommendations on how to improve the drainage. - Provided an Angie's List discount in the estimate. - Ensured that the utility survey was done, so that the new drain pipe would not interfere with cable/electricity/gas. - Meticulous working in the laying the pipe (use of sand and gravel; ensuring the pipe had the proper grade; etc.). - Laid sod where the ground had been dug. Excellent, professional service. Would highly recommend and use again.

Originally the work quoted was a bit more than we wanted to spend but since my neighbor was also getting work done Lon was able to negotiate with our neighbors who graciously allowed us to link to their 6 inch exiting pipe which cut down on our cost tremendously. Went very well. Original plan was not feasible so a new plan was developed, priced and submitted. All done appropriately with clear communication. Work was done well and on time. I had a problem with a drainage line that got blocked several months later and this was fixed quickly with no additional charges. Would rely on Lon Pinckard for expertise and good work again without hesitation.

We wanted to install a flagstone extension to our covered patio. The shade from our many oak trees prevents grass from growing in this area. Lon Pinckard gave us a bid and made some excellent suggestions on materials and coverage. We accepted his bid and three days later they installed it. The installation crew worked hard all day long and finished the project in a single day. Workmanship was excellent, and the were very good about cleanup after they finished. Lon followed up after the job to make sure we were satisfied with it. We highly recommend Pinckard.

All is Bright, is the "Go To" business for Christmas Light installation. Lon and his crew have been installing our home holiday lights for well over a decade and they are simply fantastic. From our initial design meeting through installation, it is a smooth process with beautiful results. We are always very pleased with how Lon and his crew work carefully to mount the lights and decorations with efficiency and professionalism. The crew is also careful about cleaning up any debris at the end of installation, so there is never any trash left behind. We will continue to use All Is Bright as our holiday lights company and highly recommend them!

Lon came out with his crew and did everything we talked about. He is very professional and he and his crew did a great job.

I had quotes from 5 companies. One never showed back up, and another gave my information to another company. Several quoted lower bids with the lowest being $7,500. Lon came out and evaluated what I wanted done and was very thorough with his plan where the other bids wanted to take the easy way out with the drains except for one other company. . He was very honest and noted that it would be about 5 weeks before he could get started. Pinckard and the other company were around the same price and lead times. I did my research on both and decided to go with Pinckard based on his character, scope of quality work, and the reviews here on Angies List. Pinckard Landscape Services completed the French drains first then installed the Flagstone patio. His French drain crew was excellent! It was a crew of about 5 people who dug the ditch by and hand, with straight, sharp lines, following the natural slope. The pipe went from my back yard, under 2 sidewalks, and out in to the street by drilling a hole in the curb. They used high quality pipe that should last for many years and installed 5 drains. They tied my 2 gutters in the backyard to the drains which solves that water issue. They covered the pipe with rock before covering with dirt and the grass they removed. They worked from 7am t0 8pm completing the job in a day. Very professional crew and work ethic and highly recommend this team for a job done right. You want be disappointed. The next day a different crew came out to start installing the Flagstone patio. It was a crew of about 5 people as well to install a 450 square foot patio. They to were professional with their work The patio is slightly sloped to allow drainage into the French drains. The patio was laid smoothly so there are not a lot of lips in the rock where you could stumble. They removed the sidewalk section next to my gate so the flagstone would be level with the sidewalk in the front of the house. This was hard work and not in the plan. I was happy that they chose to do that because it looks great. They completed the work in 2 days. Lon came to check the work that was being done several times. He was there in the beginning of each project to make sure both crews understood the plan. Lon was there at the completion of both jobs to make sure it was correct. I will note that if possible they should leave the flagstone on the street and mix the morter on the street. Overall, I could not be more happy with the work that was done and how professional Lon and his crew were. I will absolutely use them again for future projects when the time comes.

From what I can tell it looks wonderful and I can barely tell anyone touched those areas. They where very prompt and professional and finished a lot of work in one day. Lon came out and inspected everything and went over all of it with me to make sure I was happy and to explain for care for the drains and how to take care of the new sod. I am very satified with the work and Lon & crew were great to work with. I haven't had a problem since the new gutters and new drainage was put into place. I would recommend this company to anyone and would use them again for other landscaping projects I may have down the road.

OUTSTANDING! We had an issue with our sidewalk always being wet, with algae, and very slippery! We called several contractors and most of them wanted to fix it with a Band-Aid solution. They had no idea how to fix it, and were skeptical that it could even be fixed. I called Lon Pinckard, and he showed up at the appointed time (unlike the others). He was very thorough in his inspection process, and even called his foreman off of another job to help figure it out. His solution worked! We have had heavy rain for the past few days, and my sidewalk dries out immediately. The drainage is evident from the holes he cored in the curb for the piping. This was not the cheapest bid we got, but the quality of work, speed (had it finished in 1 day), and professionalism are top notch. I highly recommend this company, they know what they are doing!

Simply put, Lon's the best contractor I've had out, and he has good ideas on how to deal with everything he does. Our project was pretty complicated, his guys were quick, and did everything right. They were also very thorough cleaning up after they finished, and they're the first contractors I've ever dealt with that were. He was really easy to get a hold of and talk to about any concerns or problems I had.

Job was delayed due to the unbelievable rain we had in May but they got the patio done in between the storms. They laid the new patio and capped the old one so it looks as if there has always been just one large patio. The crew was great and cleaned up well after they finished. The patio is fantastic. It is pitched so well that after all the downpours we've had, no water pools anywhere and it dries quickly. I am very pleased with the work. The sodding went quickly as well. Lon Pinckard kept me up to date with the rain delays and when he would be sending his crew out. I am very satisfied with the quality and cost of the work I had done.

I called for an estimate on landscape removal and sod placement, and ended up leaving a message. Lon called me back within 10 minutes and let me know that due to their current workload, he wouldn't be able to provide the service. AWESOME!! Lon is the owner and he and his partners/team went above and beyond for us before, during, and after the project! Before I use any company, I do my due diligence and research everything that I can in that industry - reviews, pros, cons, advice, pictures, etc. I started my research in Jan and Feb knowing that this is a seasonal business and they would need a few months notice to book and complete our project by the end of Spring. I chose my top 3 prospects and ended up going with Lon based on the quick trust and rapport that we built - extremely important to me due to the amount of money that we were about to spend. He was also willing to work within our budget (even though everything that I wanted was about double the price - Lol - big dreams). Even through the 6 weeks or so of rain that we have been having, he was very accurate on when the start date and end date would be for our project. He and his partner came out one last time beforehand to get a more specific idea of the designs that we wanted. They use flagstone due to the high quality and colors (even though other companies offered a stamped concrete which is half the price) and we have no regrets - it is absolutely beautiful!! They were able to get everything done within 5 days! Afterwards, Lon came back out to inspect and take pictures and we noticed a two small areas that were missed and their team came back out within 2 days to complete. It finally stopped raining on Friday and we were able to turn on the gas fit pit and WOW! It is awesome!! We couldn't be happier with the design and detailed work and will use them again for other projects in the near future!! I would recommend Pinckard Landscape Services to everyone!
