Had them install a french drain on the side of house all the way to the street, did such a great job had them fix some french drain problems from a previous company.Also had them install a sidewalk some river rock and sod around pool.Lon and his team did a A+ job, Great CO. Great people.

Description of Work: First Sandy came out and looked at our property and listened to what we wanted. Sandy came back in a few weeks with a plan for our Front and back yard with color and space coverage estimates. We thought about it and then made a date to install. Weather delayed them 1/2 day but they worked late into the evening and finished the next day. It took about 8 people 12 hours to do all the work they had to do. They added stone edging, added two large plant beds, 2 trees, and over 40 plants. They dug out dirt and aded new soil and mixed it with mulch. They added stone edging in 7 areas and relocated a stone bench. It looks beautiful. All the workers were very curteous and they cleaned up nicely. They also left me some extra edging. We are very pleased with the work done and plam to use them again next summer for a new project.

Description of Work: Lon's company contracted with us to remove an existing railroad tie retaining wall and replace it with a stone wall. He was prompt in the bid process, gave us a fair price, delivered the finished wall on time and at the best quality level available. I have been in the real estate development business for over 40 years and can say that working with Lon was a pleasure for me. He was concerned about making his client happy and I would highly recommend he and his company to everyone!

Description of Work: I contacted this firm to do some sod word and frontyard landscaping. They were so busy, they were not able to do the work at the time. They did, however, refer me to another company which we ultimately did not use. I really appreciated their responsiveness to my needs and will contact them in the future should I need landscaping.

Description of Work: Pickard Landscaping was wonderful from the time I called until the end of the project. My landscape designer called immediately, really listened to what my vision was and picked colorful drought resistant plants as I requested. On installation day, the designer and several experienced men had all the work done and cleanup finished in seven hours. I am very pleased with everyone I encountered from this firm and highly recommend them! I will definitely use them in the future!

Description of Work: The company contacted me 2 days after my initial request. The lady wanted me to commit to their design and my landscaping project must be over $2000 before even come out to give us an estimate and look at our backyard. How can you commit to somebody's work before meeting them? She was not interested to hear what our project or our budget was. Very unprofessional and disrespectful This is a ripoff. I would not even consider them if they beg me for another chance. Approximate cost 10000.00

Description of Work: Mr. Pinckard was prompt is returning or calls and came to our home within a week of contact. He was busy with other projects, and we weren't in a rush to start ours, so we never really got a design or started with anything. That being said, he was very pleasant and we would like to use him for our project in the spring.

Description of Work: Sandy Rogers came to my home and spent an hour graphing the areas in my yard I had questions about. She gave me excellent advise to help me with a gardening design. I removed a large tree last year, my garden went from a shade garden to a sun garden. I appreciate her time with me and her ideas. Description of Work: Pinckard Landscaping did a great deal of work in our back yard in the summer of 2011. What a marvelous job they did! We worked with Sandy, who oversaw a wonderful crew. We had stonework put in around our garden, two steps of stone built in front of our storage barn and plants put into the newly created landscape. The work was very very good. The stonework was absolutely outstanding. I cannot remember the name of the gentleman who was in charge of that, but his talent and speed surprised us greatly. He and his crew even took the extra stone and put it around another little garden area for no extra charge. Even though we lost a number of plants to the ridiculously hot summer and dogs who decided to use the area in an inappropriate way, we were highly pleased with the work and would use them again without hesitation.

Description of Work: My front lawn was marred by two types of grass which detracted from curb appeal. Lon recommended St Agustine as a replacement. His workers came and killed the existing grass, several days later removed it and installed the sod. It was done promptly in a workmanlike manner. The crew was experienced and the job was completed in about 8 hours. No guarantee was offered, due to the nature and risk of lawncare, but recommended a firm that specialized in this service. Lon was prompt, courteous and I enjoyed doing business with him.

Description of Work: Overall, my experience was okay. We had several contractors out to quote a complete renovation of our front yard landscaping. Pinckard was a bit on the pricey side but we decided to go with them anyway due to all the excellent reviews. I have worked with landscape designers in the past who were able to send me digital pictures of the designs so that we could do some of the planning via email and phone ... however, Sandy plans with pencil and paper so we were always expected to meet her in person for revisions or price changes. This was really cumbersome since both my husband and I work and we had to take off work 4-5 times to meet with her. Also, since I am not a very visual person, it was hard for me to imagine a pencil drawing like I could a 3D digital design. For the most part, I like the design ... 3 plants low light plants didn't make it since thier location caused them to be essentially fried by the sun. However, I don't think the higher cost was worth the service/design we received.

Description of Work: This lanscaping company did an excellent job, I had a large area under my Bradford pear tree in my front yard. He met with me an gave me some ideas on how to fix this problem to make the area attractive. I agreed to one of the proposals and price and he came back in afew days to do the work. I was very happy with everthing they did. Would use this company again.......
