The cost for the initial design was above the original budget but we worked with the landscape designer to incorporate the major elements and bring the cost closer to our budgeted amount. The work was started on time and completed quickly. The designer called and discussed questions as they arose. The work was started and completed promptly and two plants that did not do well were quickly replaced. The finished landscape has been admired by family and friends and made the back garden a pleasant environment.

This is fourth job with Pinckard landscaping. Lon is easy to work with, listens and responds well, and his crew does excellent work. He has a new designer since the last time we used him, and we were not very happy with her, however when Lon heard our complaints he took her off the project and finished it up himself. Lon is flexible and was able to change "on the fly" as needed. The landscape looks awesome, a far cry from the barren yard we had before. His sub contractor was quick and effecient. Lon has already replaced one plant that didn't make it, and is still checking back to make sure everything is going well.

We had previously had a drain installed down the side of our home. These workers installed a second drain which appears superior and cost less. When starting to install, the back yard was full of water where they dug. They remedied the water problem and the yard has been dry since. Now we are going to have them landscape for us! We were very pleased.

i found the service on angies list.mr. pinckard came out when he said he would and gave me a price for the grass.there was a little delay because of rain,but only one day.the job was done right,i would use pinckard landscaping again.

I called Lon and he told me about Sandy. She designed our front yard landscaping and did a terrific job. I would recommend her to anyone who needs professional help planning out a plan for their landscape.

Lon is easy to work with, honest, listens and is on time. His crew is diligent and hardworking. I'd work with him again and probably will as our landscaping needs evolve. He is a go to kind of guy.

We called Pinckard Landscaping on a Monday and scheduled an appointment with the owner, Lon, to come by and give us an estimate on Thursday. Lon arrived ontime on Thursday, discussed what we wanted done and quickly gave us an estimate. He gave us a discount for being an Angie's List member. My husband originally wanted a concrete walkway installed but Lon was able to convince him to use flagstone. The flagstone walkway turned out wonderful and looks so much better than a concrete walkway would have looked! We negotiated with Lon further on the phone the following day to lower the price about 10% more. Lon told us it would be a couple weeks before the work could be done. About 4 days later, Lon called us on Tuesday morning and told us he could install our sod and flagstone walkway that day. We were thrilled to get it done early! When we arrived home from work that day, Lon and two workers were laying the last pieces of sod. They had run short of sod by a couple of pieces and Lon had gone to pick sod up to finish the job. I was very pleased with the attention to detail and the overall results! It added a landscaped-look to our yard when I didn't even expect it.

I had a great experience working with Lon. I would definitely hire again. I was very impressed with the stone retaining wall that his company built for me. His workers were professional, they built a wall that just blew me away. You could tell by the finished product that his workers took pride in what they did and put out a quality product. Nothing but good things to say about this company.

He came and gave me an excellent quote and did not try to sell any additional services, in fact he talked me out of certain things. He was also very honest and the price was competitive compared to the other quotes that I received. His guys worked very fast and completed the project within the estimated time. He did everything that I asked for. He also went above and beyond with some other things to make the yard look nice.

Lon is delightful and very professional. Little did he know that I also needed help with design and he came through like a champ. I have now hired his team for weekly management.

Mr. Pinckard was most courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. He made informed suggestions as well as willingly listening to our ideas. His crew were diligent and stayed on task to get our job completed in a timely manner. We honestly were expecting the price to be higher than it was and so were very pleased to see the final estimate. He will be the first we call for our next landscaping project!

I could not be more pleased by the work. The exterior of the house looks great. The curb appeal on my home has improved tremendously. The guys were on time, worked very hard, and did an incredible job of cleaning up after the work was completed.

It was a very good experience. Lon Pinkard listened to what I wanted, came up with a great plan and kept me posted on status and completed on schedule. He even offered without me asking to remove an old wood swing that would have been difficult for me to dispose of. The area with the flagstone patio turned out better than I expected and really improved the "curb appeal" of the house. He worked very well with me as did the individual from Sunburst Creations who did the sprinkler repair. Lon was always very responsive when called. And his workers cleaned up and did not leave a mess when done. The work was done before the holidays and after the holidays I called as some of the sod looked funny. Lon was very quick to get back to me and came to the house to check it out the same day and we are working to resolve as some of the grass has a fungus. I was very pleased again with Lon's responsiveness.

Lon's crew came out on the day and time we set. They installed a drain on each side of the walkway a few yards from the front door. They also had to dig a long trench that went under our walkway and through the yard to the street. They installed the pipe, covered the trench, and replanted some grass. Lon came later and checked over the work. I was very satisfied with the work. We have had some heavy rains since then, and the system works great.

2100.00 sounds like a lot for a French drain, but it took Lon and his crew 9 hours to trench and install the drain. When you use rigid PVC, your trench angle has to be dead-on. The sub Lon used to do the core drill through the curb did a perfect job. Many of the other houses in the neighborhood had to patch the curb after it broke during the drilling.

Excellent! The Quality of the work is superior. They took excellent care of the yard as they dug the trench all the way across the yard. It's now hard to see where they actually dug!

He put down plywood to keep the grass from getting ruined. He had a square trench he dug that went out down the and out the back of the yard. The clean up was perfect, he even took the top layer of the grass off when he was digging. When he put the dirt back he put the top layer back on. I am sitting here looking at the spot he covered back up and I can't even tell 6 weeks later that it was done.

This is my second time to use Lon and I was again impressed with him and his crew. The job took the crew about a half day to complete. Considering other quotes I received for just the tree removal his price was excellent. The area was completely cleaned of all debris.

They are wonderful! They were beyond my expectations! I have paid less, but I got less. The price is worth it for me because I got more done.

Lon Pinckard and his crew did an outstanding job from the start to the finish. The grass that was taken up was placed back down precisely so you couldn't tell a large trench had been dug. The charge was what was quoted and Lon stayed on the job most of the day to supervise. The workers were professional and polite.

We couldn't be happier with the result. The crew were very polite, they never blocked the drive (as other contractors have) and were quick and efficient. All of the old landscaping was taken out and place on their trucks and trailers. The work was done in one day (finishing about 8:00 in the evening). Lon has since replace three plants that did poorly. He is not the cheapest, but I would not hesitate to use him again, I'm more concerned about the finished product than the cost. We highly recommend Lon.
