Lon and his crew did a great job. Between personal health issues, spending almost every weekend out of town for the last 2 years, and the drought, we had lost a lot of plants and shrubs in what had been a seriously neglected landscape. Lon and his crew came out, cleaned all the beds around the house, trimmed and reshaped all surviving plants, and planted new, beautiful high quality plants to make our lawn and beds look better than they have in over 2 years. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Due to the quality of this experience I fully intend to have Lon take over our complete lawn care going forward, and totally renovate the landscape of our almost 1 acre back yard. I would highly recommend Pinckard for all your landscape needs.

Lon told me it would take two days. He hit the job with enough guys that they were done in one day. Cleaned up and hauled off all the old railroad ties. He did not ask for money up front like some do. I would highly recommend Lon's company and would work with them again.

Lon Pinckard ensured that the project was done to our satisfaction. The work his team performed was top notch and we have received compliments from neighbors we had never met. Although Pinckard was not the low bidder on the project, we decided to go with Pinckard because we could tell from the proposal process that customer satisfaction was extremely important to Lon. We were not disappointed in that choice. Knowing Lon would do everything possible to make sure we were happy certainly reduced my stress level throughout the project. We are extremely happy with the end product, and would hire Pinckard again.

Their work was just beautiful. They came with the expertise to guide us in our options that helped us to make the right decisions. We had a huge problem with drainage in the backyard and would end up with a pool of water after each rain. This is no longer a concern. When they built the deck, the team had great recommendations and executed with skill. I would highly recommend them. They were not the cheapest quote but were worth every dollar spent. We love our backyard now.

Sandy created a landscape design for us and she and the crew from Pinckard worked three days through sunshine and rain and brought the design to life. We have had some many positive comments from neighbors and visitors. Most importantly we are very happy with the results. Some chop block edging, tree trimming and re-sodding was all included in the project. Everyone was so easy to work with and responsive to questions. Neighbors even commented about how well they cleaned up after them selves. Thanks to everyone at Pinckard including Lon.

Lon is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. He came out twice to give an estimate and answer questions. The project took place the next week. The wall (which spans the entire backyard, 128 ft) was finished in two days. They cleaned up completely. The wall is beautiful. Our friends and family are amazed!

They were on-target with the cost and the timeline was fine for the work.

They did a great job. We had some problems, but they came out and corrected those problems, just as they had said they would, if there were problems. We were very happy with them.

Lon and team did a great job with our French drains. Prior to starting, they had the various utility crews out to tag-n-locate the buried wires/pipes/etc. Once they began their work they took great care not to interfere with the utilities and worked around them flawlessly. Lon also QA'd the job site several times during the job and when appropriate he would add items to the scope of our project without increasing the price! For example, we had a downspout that was a few feet away from the French drain - Lon decided that he was going to tie it into the drain for no additionally cost!!! When the French drains were done the crew did a great job cleaning up, hosing down sidewalks and work areas, and returning everything to a clean condition. I'd suggest them to them others.

The crew was very professional and did a wonderful job. The grass they put down was green and healthy. They even went above and beyond with the clean up by sweeping & washing the sidewalks and driveway. The yard looks great. This is the company I will use in the future for any landscaping needs that arise. A+ rating in my book.

I left a message, and on the answering machine was told to please allow 24 hours for a call back as it is their busy season. This seemed acceptable. I received a call the very next morning. Unfortunately, the gentleman I spoke with said they do not do the Pavestone walls and have a minimum of $2,000 for projects. He was very kind and I appreciated the call back as he was the only one out of the three I contacted.

Pinckard did great! They were quick to come out, they were quick to complete and cost me less than other quotes I had received. I definitely would recommend their services.

It went very well. The crew arrive on time and got the job done in one day. They took good care of my yard as they dug the trenches across it for the drain pipe. They leveled the ground and reinstalled sod on top of the work and it looks great. Very professional. Mr. Pinckard was there with the crew first thing in the morning and came by the next day to check on the finished product.

Awesome...quality of sod is great. The crew was efficient, professional, and respectful of our property as well as our neighbors. They were great at picking up trash, debris, etc and they left our yard in great shape. Great job; I would use them again!

They completed the stone border first, which was finished in about 2.5 hours. The stone wall took longer than anticipated - about 1.5 days. The border and wall are beautiful. They did damage a piece of the fence, which they replaced promptly.

My new yard went from a mess to a show place in just two days. He trimmed shrubs, planted flowers and trees, and did a miracle job on a yard that hadn't had any maintaince in years.

Pinchard used two (2) crews for this job. The first crew (Lone Star Fence) replaced the builder grade fence with a wonderful new fence. They worked very hard to provide us a wonderful new fence and gate that will last many, many years. The fence company discovered that the home builder had placed the original fence posts into my neighbors surface drain system more than 4 years ago. At this point, the home builder sent another group of workers to repair/replace this previously damaged surface drain. The Lone Star Fence crew was instrumental in helping me communicate with the spanish speaking drain crew, which resulted in a drain system that was going to work with the new retaining wall. I continue to be most grateful to Lone Star Fence (Mike Reinhardt @ 817-312-1005). The crew building the retaining wall also worked very hard and carefully to build a wall that matched the other retaining walls on my property and in the neighborhood. I was able to work along side of them during this two (2) day wall project and know first-hand that they built us a quality stone wall that will last far into the future. Both crews cleaned up the area after their projects to include sweeping the street and gutters. Many of my neighbors have complemented us on the improvements, which is a bit of a testimony to the quality work performed by Pinchard Landscape Services.

It went great. First day I had my Bradford Pear trees removed. Lon called me and told me that the tree guys took out a sprinkler. I confirmed and he sent out a sprinkler guy to fix it right away at no charge to me. The stone boarder I asked for came out really good and was set in mortar leveled and very professional looking. The stone work was all done in one day and all the plants and trees were put in on the second day. Lon checked with me several times to make sure he had every item on the list done to my satisfaction. The crew were very polite and cleaned up their mess before they left for the day. I now need more trees put in since I took out the Bradford pear trees and still need more bushes. After I come back from vacation I will call Pinckard landscaping to do more landscaping. I highly recommend Pinckard Landscaping.

I contacted 3 different Angie's list providers for Drainage and Patio installation. The owner of Pinckard Landscape, Lon Pinckard came out and looked over the area within 3 to 4 days and gave me a bid on the spot. A few days later, due to a neighbor having issues and some work done between our houses, it required Lon coming back a second time to reevaluate. He was thorough and communicated well how he would approach our drainage issues. He even explained and helped me understand how some french drain systems can allow for mosquito infestations to build (which had happened to us at a prior house!!) The job was started within about 3 to 4 weeks and a substantial drain was installed in 1 day...about a week later the patio guys came in and created a 12 by 12 patio and walkway within 2 days and even modified our original idea on the spot to create a more interesting look, I can't say enough about how great a job his patio guys did. We are extremely happy with the finished product and have had two decent rains since completion, both of which showed that the drainage system is working properly. I wouldn't hesitate to use Lon again. His honesty and his attention to detail was impeccable. Thanks Lon! and thanks Angie's list for allowing me to connect with Lon Pinckard

The work went very well. Ron and his staff were professional, courteous and hard working. It was evident from the start that they really cared about doing the job right and it certainly showed in the final product. Sandy Rogers listened carefully to what we wanted (low maintenance beds), made excellent plant suggestions, and designed beds that we're very pleased with. We recommend Pinckard Landscaping and their designer, Sandy Rogers.

Pinckard had given me a bid in March for replacing the fence, along with installing a new patio and doing some other landscaping around the house. I initially went with another contractor for the fence, and decided to leave the other landscaping projects for another time. When the first fence contractor (not an Angie's List contractor--now I know better!) backed out of the job leaving me less than a month to get my now collapsed fence replaced before the HOA fined me, I contacted Pinckard in a panic. Lon revised the bid and got it back to me quickly, set me up with a contract, and had his crew at my house when he said they would be there. The job took about 2 and 1/2 days and looks great. Once they started, Mike with All-Star Fence was in daily contact to make sure that the job was done as we wanted it done. They would have finished in two days, but I gather they had some technical difficulties with a compressor which slowed them down.

I have no complaints from working with Lon and Sandy; they both made the process very easy. Our DIY flowerbeds were an embarrassment and Sandy's design took it to a whole new level; it definitely looks professional now. Although previous reviews mentioned this, everyone I showed Sandy's colored pencil/paper design to were surprised with it considering what it cost. I think adding a front/street view or even a photo of the house with computer rendered landscape may serve them well. The design itself was stunning and turned our eyesore into show-quality. The installation took about 4 hours and the crew made it look so effortless. My only advice is to book them before the busy Spring season hits as everyone wants Pinckards.

It went great. My husband unfortunately forgot to leave the gate unlocked when their crew arrived. With my permission, the crew was able to remove the lock from the gate and gain access. They returned the lock/gate hardware to their correct positions so that I could not even detect they'd been removed. They were timely and brought a large enough crew that allowed me to get my patio in one day. The crew was courteous and cleaned up after themselves...everything from the actual worksite as well as my front yard where they unloaded supplies and mixed cement. The end result was a great patio with great workmanship. Mr Pinckard himself was probably the best part of the service as he personally provided the estimate, came with his mason to confirm the project, and then he returned to check the workmanship. I would certainly do business with Mr Pinckard again.

It was excellent. They were very professional and they're timely so I would use them again and I would recommend them. The owner was very hospitable and he told me what exactly he's going to do. I would choose them for their service.
