Description of Work: My friend's grandkids got access to her computer and loaded games, etc. By the time she realized it pop-ups, infections, etc. were so bad that it was unusable, and she left it on the closet shelf for about 3 months. Paul cleaned it up, got rid of all viruses, malware, etc. and put it back in pristine and usable condition.

Description of Work: Transferred information from my old computer to a new computer I had just purchased. Revised the Windows 8 format and settings so that I could easily find and use the information I needed. Changed my screen format to be larger and easier to use. Installed my protection. Took my very old computer with him to get files and pictures off it for me. Explained things I was questioning. Discovered that Best Buy had messed up the plug on my old computer and told me how to get them to fix it, which they are doing.

Description of Work: The left screen bracket on my 9-month old ASUS laptop broke in the first part of July 2012. I called Paul Miller, and he said the laptop needed a new bezel/cover assembly, which I purchased from EBay. That started a long string of problems. In reinstalling the LCD screen, it broke. A second LCD screen (at Mr. Miller's expense) also broke. At that point, he decided to pay ASUS to do the fix. After a series of other delays, my laptop is now fixed. It's mid September 2012. While this has all the trappings of a nightmare, I must say that I found Mr. Miller to be honest and responsible. The LCD screen of this laptop is very thin and it might have been prudent to let ASUS do it to begin with, but this was not at all apparent at the time. Mr. Miller also found viruses that he fixed at no cost. In the end, in spite of his own expense to make good on the repair, he didn't want to charge me anything on account of the delay. I did not feel this was warranted because he tried his darnedest best.
