The job went great. Andrew was awesome and so were his workers. Andrew was very nice and helpful when he gave us the quote and he was ultimately the losest quote which is why we went with him.

I got an estimate from Andrew in February. He walked the area and each sprinkler zone, inspecting the sprinkler heads. When recently replacing part of a fence the sprinkler line was cut, he offered suggestions and provided a written estimate. I contacted him in March and we set up a day to complete the work The team showed up almost an hour early. They had never seen a panel like the oe we have and there was some confusion at first, but we cleared that up immediately. Andrew had a family emergency and was not able to be here for the work He said that he would come by afterward to check his teams' work. The crew worked through each zone, and did not accept payment. They said Andrew would take it when he came by to inspect it himself. The following week, Andrew called and we scheduled an appointment and he inspected the work his crew had done. He made some adjustments, but he took the time to look at each zone and each individual sprinkler head. I also asked about receiving the $10.00 discount from Angie's List and he gladly obliged. I told him that if I needed thsi type of work done again, I would definitely call him.

I found them on Angie’s List. The owner, Andrew, does work for me once or twice a year. They are easy to schedule with and always keep in contact. If you need them to come out in a hurry, they will accommodate your schedule. I would highly recommend their services.

He figured out that it was a simple fix involving the controller. He could have charged me a ton of money since I didn’t know anything, but he admitted it was simple and only charged twenty bucks to fix it. Thanks to his work, I would trust him totally in the future.

I needed an entire new system for my backyard because I had a pergola built last spring. Andrew came out the day after I contacted him and thoroughly went through what needed to be done. He recommended attaching to the current system in the front and adding 6 rotating sprinkler heads for the back yard and 4 sprayers for the flowerbeds (which weren't there before). After about 5 minutes in his truck he came back with his estimate of $900! This was half the first two bids that I had gotten!! I hired him on the spot. His next available date was the following Tuesday. He and his crew showed up around 8:30 that Tuesday and got started right away. What I liked most is that he showed up and went through everything with the guys, he does not sub-contract out! All of his guys were very courteous and spoke very good English. They finished the same day and put everything back the way it originally was. Andrew came out the next day to go over the system and how to operate it, and of course to get paid! I would recommend Andrew and his company to anyone needing irrigation work done, big or small. I will contact Andrew in the future for any needs I may have for this house or any future homes of mine. Andrew was prompt and professional. I had dug up the leaking area myself intending to only need to reseal a PVC pipe that was leaking. It looked like it was leaking from a valve though and I was not comfortable repairing that myself. Andrew was able to come at a time that was convenient to my schedule and quickly identified and repaired the problem then refilled the hole that I had dug. I was expecting a lengthy repair and hefty price but he was able to fix it quickly and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be contacting Andrew for any future needed repairs.

Great overall experience. Andrew found the problem, corrected it, and made a couple of other repairs to my sprinkler system while he was here.

Andrew came out, checked it all out and recommended some changes. They completely re-did our drip system to make it more effective, added several heads and moved others in our lawn areas. They also brought it some soil to level low spots (from prior tree removal) and sodded those areas. They were there when they said they would be, were easy to communicate with and seemed to know just what to do and what needed to be done.

Lightening damaged my garage 12/25/12, and among other things, fritzed my water sprinkler control box on the garage wall. My electrician replaced the spinkler control box 12/27/12. Recently when I turned on my sprinkler system, only the 1st station of 9 stations worked. Andrew, the owner of Enhanced Turf, came out the next workday after I called. He assessed the problem and subsequently sent out 2 workmen to further assess the problem and fix it. The 2 workmen spent over 4 hours on the premises, analyzing the problem, locating the underground control stations and making the necessary repairs. The solenoids at underground stations 2, 3, 4 and 5 had been fritzed by the lightening (this is a fairly unique problem). Secondly, after they fixed those issues, the workmen found that the new wall control box my electrician had installed was defective as to stations 6 and 7. They replaced the faulty control box. In summary, 2 men working 4 hours each, a separate site visit by Andrew, 4 solenoids and 1 control station replaced for a total $465.00. This is a remarkable value with remarkable service. Both Andrew and his workmen were very businesslike, industrious, and respectful. What's not to like about this service?

I contacted Enhanced Turf to get an estimate for an all around sprinkler system. Andrew came out to do the estimate and went over everything in detail, even sugguesting a drip irrigation for the foundation. The work startedon time and was completed on time.

They were excellent. The price was more than reasonable. They came early and got the job done early. The guy was very nice and personable; just a decent guy. I was overly pleased and would recommend him to anyone. I was very happy. He was really accommodating, coming out right before the holiday.

Enhanced turf had previously completed sprinkler work for us, and we called them for a quote on landscaping. Andrew responded promptly with an estimate. We actually received three estimates from different landscapers and Enhanced Turf was the most reasonable, along with the best landscape design. The crew showed up on the agreed upon date, and finished the job in two days. Our flower bed was in pretty bad shape before they started, and the area behind the pool was just grass/dirt. We were absolutely amazed at the outstanding job they did. Andrew was great to work with. We requested a couple of changes in the design and he agreed with no issue. Outstanding job. Outstanding value. Outstanding team. We can't say enough good things. We highly recommend.

Andrew responded promptly to our call, and gave us a very reasonable estimate for the work. We had a pool installed, and the pool company destroyed our sprinkler system on the sides of the house in the back yard. The Enhanced Turf crew showed up on the day we agreed on, and did an outstanding job repairing the damaged sprinklers. We also had some additional sprinklers installed, and they did an excellent job on that. The crew cleaned everything up, and our back yard looked great when they finished. The sprinklers work great. They used a higher quality sprinkler head than our builder had installed. We were charged exactly what the estimate was, and I thought it was an outstanding value for the work they did. When we needed some landscaping work done, we called Andrew back and hired Enhanced Turf to do that work as well.

.After several estimates we decided on Enhanced Turf to install our sprinkler system. We made this decision because of the reviews posted for this company, the estimate given and the professionalism exhibited by Andrew, the owner. He showed up when he said he would and after explaining what he would do, he presented me with an estimate. After the other estimates we got I felt like it was a fair amount and Andrew even gave us a discount because we used Angie's list to find him ( we didn't even ask him about it!) After the work was done Andrew came and did a final inspection and he personally took care of the concerns I had. He set up the city inspection and met the inspector here and worked with him on his inspection to his satisfaction. After that I called Andrew and asked him if he could come and go over the controller adjustments with me. He came and explained it (very patiently!) to me again. The sprinkler system works great.

Extremly well. There was a minor problem with the existing water line that had been disconnected by previous owners but the guys found the problem and repairs were made at no additional expense to me.

Enhanced Irrigation did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations. The entire project was well planned, his team was hard working,and the end result was exactly what I wanted. Andrew is very customer focused and we appreciate the work he did for us. Planning The process could not have gone smoother from start to finish. I know I made the right choice for my irrigation and landscaping needs. Andrew listened to what I wanted completed and he worked with me to coordinate the work in conjunction with some other outside projects that were being completed. He was detailed in the information that he provided and he was easy to communicate with and to schedule. Installation Day His crew was at my house early both mornings of the installation and they got to work immediately. You can tell that his team is motivated to do a good job and they were clearly very experienced and acted very professionally. They explained to me what they were going to do and let me know they would get with Andrew if any questions came up. Andrew was working alongside his team the second day. He made sure all the sprinkler heads were properly adjusted and actually added a couple more where he thought I could get better coverage. Landscaping His team did an excellent job with the landscaping and it was nice to have this done at the same time as the irrigation. We made a couple of changes to how much we wanted planted and he was very patient with us and worked hard with his team to get it right. He also made suggestions that improved on our plans so the end result was even better than expected. THANK YOU!

Andrew was able to accomodate my difficult schedule and come in on short notice. He was prompt and ready to get to work. There was some difficulty in finding the "stuck" valve and he had to leave for his next appointment. Unfortunately my schedule prevented him from coming back soon after, but a few weeks later, when I was back in town, he came the day after I called him and found/replaced the valve.

I had to cancel the original installation date with Andrew because the town was fixing my main water line due to age. After several attempts at repairing the line, the town said the leak was on my side and left me to fix it. Luckily Andrew's crew fixed it without a problem. After the crew arrived, I went over a few things with them and later made another revision to the system with Andrew. I wanted drip lines put in the flower beds and around the foundation so Andrew added another zone to the system to accomodate that and the additional cost wasn't that much more. The design came out great and he even repositioned some sprinklers on the back lawn so that they would be more effective. The job took a couple of days only for the reason that our town has to come out and inspect and pass the system. But when they finished they cleaned up everything and hid all the drip lines. Andrew then came back and went over the system with me. Thanks

I live in Longview, about 3 hours each way to Dallas. This is a rental home. I first noticed this company in January and got an estimate from Andrew Gray. After comparing a few, I chose this one, because Andrew had (and still has) nearly all straight-A reviews on Angie?s. The day I met with him and signed the contract, I thought we?d be going over the design. When I asked him to describe it, he gave a vague, hurried answer. I tried a second time to get him to describe it, but he still didn?t want to go into detail. Since he had the good reviews, and neither of us had much time, I went ahead and signed. In retrospect, I should have asked for the diagram before meeting with him and agreeing to the work. I asked for it while he was preparing to get the job done, during the work, and after it was completed?but after I?d already signed. Andrew seemed reluctant, but he finally sent me the diagram when I said that I would pay him AFTER I receive it and after he?s shown the tenants how to use the system. It was not clearly written and a little confusing. In the upper left is a chart showing the numbers of each part purchased. This is incorrect. It shows 38 heads and not the right quantities of some of them. (There are actually 40; although, the contract shows 50.) It shows 6 valves (in agreement with the contract), but there are actually 5. Farther down is a drawing, depicting the placement of heads and valves. He left out 3 of the 5 valves. It shows 40 heads and 2 valves. The 40 heads is correct, as far as I know. I thought that I should be charged for 5 zones, not the 6 shown on the contract, since there were 10 less heads, 1 less valve, and 1 less zone. I called various other contractors, trying to figure out how to handle it. Nearly everyone said they charge by the zone, in agreement with Andrew. So I thought I should owe for 5 zones instead of 6, 16.7% less than the total cost. After some emails, I saw that he had miscalculated on the contract, as he said. Under a heading of small letters (which I hadn?t noticed) were the types of zones: 3 rotator, 1 spray, and 1 flowerbed. Under that was written ?Total # of zones: 6.? To the left I saw ?Valves: 6? and ?Heads: 50.? Those were the figures that stood out to me, but they were inaccurate; I actually received 40 heads, 5 valves, and 5 zones?assuming this is right (I haven?t seen it). I believe it was an honest error, so I agreed to pay the full amount, after he has demonstrated for the tenants how to use the system. He seemed to think that as long as it?s functioning properly without dry patches and such, it shouldn?t matter how many zones, valves, or heads. Apparently he?s not used to customers comparing what they?re receiving to what is promised on the contract and diagram. Originally, I just wanted the diagram so we?d know where not to dig. Now I realize it should be obtained before the agreement. Once you?ve signed, contractors are not likely to care whether or not the design is clear to you. It doesn't pay to be in a hurry, so I suggest taking your time. One contractor I spoke with today said that he charges by the number of heads, attaching a labor-unit price for each head. Most say they charge by the zone, and the number of heads can vary. Another contractor said it?s better to not get the rotator zones at all, in case you ever want to change your landscaping; he thinks it?s more efficient to have all sprayer zones. The opinions on that would vary, I think. Andrew Gray did a few nice things. He installed drip tubing in the front flowerbeds, as an extra service. He also includes his license number and the TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) web address on his contract. If there is ever a functional problem with your irrigation system (and you can?t work it out with the contractor), TCEQ will conduct a thorough investigation for you. They?re based in Austin, with regional branches. Andrew also corrected the diagram for me (at my request). A lot of people are very pleased with his service, over 90 of them. That does speak well for him. Update: Today he showed the tenants how to use the system, and I put the check in the mail to him. They told me that Andrew Gray made a very good impression on them; they felt he was completely professional and thorough in his explanations and instructions. He adjusted one of the heads that he felt was not operating quite right. I'm beginning to see why he has an excellent reputation on Angie's. Keep in mind that it's a little difficult to evaluate someone's service from 3 hours' driving distance. Nonetheless, I still think it's better to go over the design and understand it well before agreeing to the work, and that's what I'll do in the future with all other contractors.

Called Andrew as we had a valve that was not working. He quickly found the valve and replaced it. I've used his services several times since. He is always on time, always fixes the problem, and always goes above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend!

It went very well. Andrew wasn't present, but the 5 man crew did a fine job and had the whole thing done in a little over an hour. I'm pleased with the landscape replacements, and they were right on the money with capping off the sprinkler head - they guessed the right line area to cap on the very first go. I've used Andrew's service twice before and feel comfortable recommending him to friends.

Andrew arrived on time for the initial evaluation. He was able to write up a proposal for me on the spot. Entire quoting experience couldn't have taken more than 30 minutes from handshake to handshake. After evaluating other vendors and proposals, I decided to go with Enhanced Turf, in large part because of their excellent reviews on Angie's List. I was happy that I did. The work was done well, and cleanup was very well executed.
