It was great -they were very good. We had a couple of planted that died and they came back quickly and replaced them. If I call him, he will be out usually within 48 hours to fix whatever problem with have with the landscaping like plumbing, irrigation and that type of thing- he is really good.
Description of Work: For landscaping, we used Elemental Landscapes. We got 12- 14 trees and he did all of our shrubs and flowers, pretty much everything.

He was a really nice guy and had some good ideas. His design plan was good and tried to stick to our budget as close as he could. The crew was not the best but they were polite. It was not his main team, he had to hire some people he had not used before but they were courteous.
Description of Work: They re-did our front and back yard landscaping. They had to re do it because we had a pool put in.

My main crew was on another job and a portion of this job needed to be done by a certain date. I was on site almost the entire time to ensure the quality was up to both the customer's and my standards. They were very easy to work with and had good ideas that we incorporated as the project progressed.

We met Brian at the Fort Worth home show and were impressed by the pictures of previous landscape jobs he had completed. The pictures showed the layouts and types of plants we wanted for our backyard. We roughly explained what work we needed done, showed him pictures of our back yard beds, and when we needed the work to be completed. He said he could do that for us, and we made an appointment for him to come out. His first appointment was very informative. He brought more pictures of his previous landscaping and suggestions on plants he thought we might be interested in. We discussed in depth what we'd like to do. We also stipulated that the plants needed to be pet and children friendly since we have small grandchildren. His second appointment was to go over his outline for what work would be done, some minor changes on which plants we would use, schedule and date. His crew was very professional and courteous. They removed everything from the old beds deep enough to remove roots of unwanted weeds and plants. They planted flowers and plants just as we described how we wanted them positioned. They designed and made a path with flat stones and riverbed rocks that turned out better than anything we imagined! In the bed next to the workshop, we had told Brian we wanted a stone path from the building to the yard that would support a riding lawnmower. They dug deeper into the ground to place large stones to make a drive path for the lawnmower. It turned out beautiful and works great! We had also told Brian to we wanted that bed to have a Southwestern look and to design it for us. This bed has been our favorite! We have one bed for flowering plants and shrubs, a bed for herbs, the Southwestern bed, and beds around trees. Brian's recommendations have given us a Spring, Summer, and now Fall full of beautiful flowers, butterflies, and humming birds. Brian also redirected and corrected sprinklers to ensure the beds were watered correctly. We added some large plant pots in the beds for added color and multiple plant heights. Brian added sprinklers to these pots to ensure those plants were watered correctly as well. He also showed us how to update the sprinklers next to the driveway to prevent breakage in case they were driven over by a vehicle. Brian will be back within the next few weeks to show us how to prepare the plants for winter. We have been very pleased with Brian's service and plan to work with him on future projects. We would not hesitate to recommend Brian to family and friends.
Description of Work: Brian came to our home for a consultation to understand our landscape issues, our vision of what we wanted, our timeline and budget. He came back for a second appointment with a plan of recommendations on plants and timetable to complete the job within our budget. A date was set to start work. His crew came in and removed all of the old beds, brought in quality topsoil and planted flowers, shrub, and herbs. They designed and built a flat stone/river rock walk--way through one of the beds, as well as a stone path from the workshop building that would allow movement of a riding mower from the building to the yard. Brian also helped us repair some non-working sprinkler heads and showed us how to improve the sprinklers next to the driveway so that they would not be damaged if run over by a vehicle.

This project was very well defined by the customer. The biggest challenge was tying the 3 areas together but still give them each their own character. We accomplished this by using a few of the same plants in the different beds or blooms of the same color. Also the use of pots in the beds brought them together as well. We were very conscious of the dogs and children. We made sure to avoid anything poisonous and in the Southwest Garden we used Soft Leaf Yuccas and Spineless Prickly Pear cactus.

We are the same homeowners who rated his company an F earlier this month. He called with no excuses and asked to have a chance to make it right and make us happy. Many apologies were offered. He came out and talked through what he wanted to do for us by way of company credit and we agreed. At this point we both felt much better already about his taking this strong interest in how unpleasant our previous experience had been. He communicated with me regularly and came over when promised with workers and they knocked out a lovely little area in a couple of hours, tying into and matching the wall they previously built. He chose lovely plants and a couple medium sized boulders. The sprinklers had to be adjusted to the new landscape bed and he took care of that. He also fixed the situation of the soaker hose which had been cemented into the wall. Both parties are happy. We admire how seriously our experience was taken and feel comfortable recommending him.
Description of Work: Brian and some of his workers built a small wall, arranged some plants and boulders in it and added a couple plants to an existing bed. He communicated really well and also fixed a problem we were left with from the previous job.

Brian Perry, the owner of Elemental met with my wife and did discovery to determine what we envisioned. He then offered suggestions and provided sketches to help us visualize the finished area. We then walked the neighborhood to see examples of foliage and hardscape designs and made our final plans. We agreed on a timeline and price and started immediately. Tear out and installation started within a few days and was completed ahead of our agreed upon schedule even though we tweaked the design and quantity of plants as we went. The finished product is beautiful, requires low maintenance, is very native and natural to our area, and made our outdoor living space a retreat our family enjoys year-round.
Description of Work: Elemental Landscapes did a great job converting our yard into a beautiful living area. We live on about an acre and wanted to make our outdoor space more attractive and more livable. Elemental helped us do just that. Owner, Brian Perry, worked with us to learn what we wanted to accomplish. He then worked up design options, and presented his suggestions based on aesthetic design and low maintenance effort as opposed to what was the most cost to us. Brian was incredibly helpful and offered suggestions we hadn't thought of. The installation was on time, clean, very efficient and a great value for the design and work performed. His crew was knowledgeable, did a great job, was timely, and courteous. We have referred Brian/Elemental Landscapes to several neighbors and offer our highest recommendation…and we will certainly use them again.

This is a project with two specific goals. Take care of a drainage issue and install low maintenance plants in two hard to take care of areas. We cam up with a stone wall and spillway that ties into existing stone to channel the water off the drive and preventing erosion. A hardy groundcover was installed in the two areas to provide an easily cared for and attractive solution. Customer input is always important and the client suggested a different plant than the one I had picked for one of the areas. The lot is heavily wooded but they knew that one area receives more sun than it appeared too. I thought it was a better solution for the site and it worked perfectly. We have been back for other projects and have been happy to see that this one has worked as we planned.

Mr. Perry was responsive and efficient in preparing the bid and following up with changes to the bid. His pricing was competitive for both the iron and chain link portions. He arrived on time for our appointments and proved flexible when I needed it. As with my previous experience with Mr. Perry and his Elemental Landscapes teams, they were on time and efficient, finishing a little bit earlier than expected. His teams are professional and hard working. They know how to do what they were hired to do and seem to take pride in their work. Every time I have hired Elemental Landscapes, I have been pleased with the process from start to finish. Even my builder a few years ago commented, "Wow! They're good. I've never seen a landscape crew actually come in and work so hard. They did great work and your paver sidewalk is beautiful!" I highly recommend Elemental Landscapes to anyone looking for a small or large project.
Description of Work: Asked Elemental Landscapes to bid on a iron and chain link fence to close in large lot on two sides.

We take a lot of pride in our work. We strive to do what is necessary for the results we and our clients envision. We don't cut corners. It was nice not only to see the customer respond but the builder as well. The fence was an iron fence and gates on the front. The side of the large lot was a black chain link. It looks great but is much more economical than iron for the area it was in.

Brian and his team were contracted by our landscape architect for the landscape work. Brian and his team worked fast, accurate, and with a high level of detail. Brian's communication with the home owner and his team was incredible. Brian walked me through the plans, answered questions, and gave a clear understanding to the "why's.". He was very quick to respond to any concerns I had. I highly recommend Brian and his team to provide the work I need done. My husband and I have a fantastic oasis in our backyard that we enjoy each and every day thanks to Brian and his team!

In addition to installing our own designs, we work as independent contractors for Landscape Architects and designers. Our standards match up with their standards as well as what the clients expect. We worked closely with both parties on the project. We communicated regularly with the client as well as the Architect and other trades to keep the project running smoothly and on time.
