28 July 2009, Original contract agreed to repair interior storm damage and replace roof. 9 Aug 2009, Final contract signed (after all corrections). 1 Aug 2009, Interior water damage painted over in dining room and master bedroom, but ceiling still drooping. Unacceptable and not in compliance with the contract (sheet rock and insulation were to be replaced). We repaired the dining room ourselves. 7 Aug 2009 Shingles scheduled to be delivered. They weren't. 8 Aug 2009, Work scheduled to begin. It didn't. 10 Aug 2009 Shingles delivered. 11- 12 Aug 2009, Showed up to do exterior work. Workers stepped through the ceiling, creating additional damage. Workers damaged patio cover, causing additional leaks, and installed flashing between roof and patio cover incorrectly resulting in waterfall from roof over sidewalk when it rained. Workers urinated in yard. Supervisor did not communicate with homeowner at all ? did not announce arrival, did not ask to use restroom, did not notify us when worker stepped through ceiling. 13 Aug 2009, Discussed workmanship and agreed on repairs to correct deficiencies. 14 Aug 2009, Returned to repair bad flashing. 8 Sep 2009, Repair people didn't show as scheduled to do interior repair. 10 - 11 Sep 2009, Repaired interior ceiling in kitchen and master bedroom; painted with wrong paint, causing us to re-do the painting ourselves. No insulation replaced. 3 Oct 2009, First heavy rain after new roof installed, leaked in several places. Entry way and garage ceilings fell in. Called Sterling Hartwell the first time. Prior communication was with sales representative. 8 Oct 2009, Applied sealant in roof valleys. 12 - 17 Nov 2009, Interior damage repair. No priming, painting or finish work. Trim molding not re-installed. Worker promised ?boss? to arrange for completion of work. ?Boss? never contacted us. 4 Mar 2010 Requested to receive tax credit paperwork. No response. Address and phone number of company has changed. 20 Mar 2010 Requested to receive tax credit paperwork. No response.
