Mister Sparky

My mom lives many states away in a VERY old mobile home. Her electricity was spotty, which was making me nervous. I called Mr Sparky and they went out to troubleshoot. Before Hollis left that day, he made some adjustments simply because some of the wires had melted TO THE WALLS and he didn’t feel comfortable leaving it as it was. He went back with an apprentice several days later to rewire and take care of the rest. My mom said Hollis and his apprentice were personable and thorough. She’s so excited to have working lights and heat and I’m more happy than I can say that she’s not going to burn down in her home. I cannot begin to convey the thanks I feel for you taking care of my mom, Mr Sparky (and Hollis, specifically).

They just got right on the problem and got it fixed.

went ok, but over priced

Prompt and courteous Hollis did an excellent job on each item on my list. Have had to have him out a couple of times because I had to get parts for the pool light. I finally had to buy a new one. The next call is for him to install it. I am really happy with the work he has done.

A technician came out the same day that I called and provided me with an estimate. They charge a flat rate and not by the hour so if it takes them an hour or all day it is the same price. I really liked that. My breaker box was installed the next day before I got home from work. I loved it and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had an excellent experience with them. They gave me a bid. They responded within 24 hours. I have been using them for over 3 years. I had various technicians. I highly recommend these guys and I don't consider anyone else in my work. Pricing was excellent.

Very efficient and polite. Helped me move furniture inside house to make access to power for outside outlet. Cleaned up afterwards and moved furniture back himself. Very professional. A little pricey but will call them for any future electrical problems.

After an unpleasant experience with an initial inquiry to Mister Sparky and subsequent review, I was contacted by the owner. He offered an apology and explanation. He also offered a discounted service which I declined. I appreciate his apology and explanation

My experience with them was great. I have called them again and they would be coming out tomorrow. I was satisfied with their work and their professionalism. The people that came out were courteous.

Mister Sparky came out on time. He inspected and tested my home and we discussed things that were appropriate. He gave me an estimate in a timely, but it just wasn't time to do it yet. It was a very large job and a large modification to the house. We opted not to go that route, at that time. He knew what he was talking about. I work in a technical field as well, and I felt comfortable that he was a competent electrician and what he was suggesting made sense. He was pretty straight forward and he didn't mess around at all, trying to get extra work.

Hollis and Juan came in the previous day to give us an estimate of everything that we needed done. They charge $59 for the estimate but they deduct that amount if they do the work. They were late coming to do the work because of an emergency on a previous job. However, when they arrived they started working right away and they knew what they were doing. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they are personable and honest. They come prepare to do the work and nothing is too much for them. Excellent company.

They were very fast to get here. The blown fuse kept my AC from coming on. July without AC is miserable. They didn't have my particular fuse but went to Lowes and was back in no time. Whole thing took less than 45 minutes. Didn't charge for the time that they had to go to Lowes. They had to charge me the overtime hour rate but the fuse and labor was only $237.00. Could have saved money by waiting until regular hours the next morning but I didn't want to do without AC all night. I would definitely use them again.

very well ! they worked with the entergy co. I work off shore they talked w/ me over the phone things went along very well,even though the rain in texas w/ trying to trench for conduit.

We decided not to call him back. We are just keeping the fan plugged in so the bathroom light will work. We'll probably call someone else to come fix it.

major problem of main circuit breaker going off, up to four times a day. Mr Sparky technician evaluated and fully explained the problem. Age of house and minimum meeting of requirements during build led up to this failure. Technician also explained all to be done and why. Also was able to received discounts for work done

We just bought a house in Katy that is almost 20 years old. Therefore, I looked at reviews on Angie's List to find someone to do the electrical work that our house inspector recommended. Mr. Sparky got good reviews, so I scheduled them to the work. The electrician, Tony, arrived and did his own thorough inspection and then came up a list of jobs and costs. I choose seven items from his list of nine. Later, I had some kitchen remodeling done and the GFCI in the kitchen that he replaced tripped and would not reset. So he made another trip to the house and even thought the GFCI he replaced was not faulty, he was able to get things going in the kitchen again at no extra cost. I have to admit that the cost for the work seemed expensive, but I am confident that the work done is top quality. The people at Mr. Sparky really do work hard to satisfy their customers.

Called, gave a general overview of the work and they promptly made an appointment. Permits were pulled and the electricians met me at the appointed time. The requested work was completed professionally and cleanly passing city inspection the first time. I have been in the property maintenance field for nearly four years in the Beaumont area. Mr. Sparky is the ONLY electrician in my contact list. And trust me I had gone through a few electricians before Mr. Sparky. Mr. Sparky stands HEAD and SHOULDERS above the rest.

Overall the process was very easy. The first visit was very informative and provided us with many options to choose from that would best suit our immediate needs as well as informed us about what to think about for future additions. We felt that we were provided great information that allowed us to make an informed decision. The work began and was completed as stated and scheduled at the agreed price without any last minute suprises. Attention to details on the work performed was greatly appreciated.

I contacted Mr. Sparky on Monday, 7-18-11 and one of the electricians met me at the home that very afternoon. I had a quote by close of business that day. The work was authorized by the owner and Mr. Sparky returned to perform the work. They ran into more damage that was not noticeable until they removed the braker box. They quickly called me to give details about the damage, quote to repair, and get authority to move forward. All was approved and they finished the job the next day. They were also instrumental in getting the job released by the City Inspector quickly so the tenant could move back in.

They are good and I recommend them to my clients all the time. They have a guarantee that if they don't show up on time it is free. The experience was great and their prices are as good as anybody.

I am a property manager and one of my tenants called to say that the breakers were tripping in the kitchen. I contacted Mister Sparky and they came out within 1 hr. to diagnose the issue. They found the issue and gave me a quote for the work. We re-scheduled the work for the next day. They arrived in a company truck with the electrician in uniform to perform the work. They were efficient and the work completed was the exact amount as quoted.
