I hired them the first of September. They had quite a backlog, so they finally got time to do my job the latter part of November. (They warned me it would be a least 6 weeks.) They did a good job at a reasonable price. They started and finished in one afternoon. They perform all tree services, but I only had them grind the 2 stumps. I did not pay them to haul off the chips; I used the chips as mulch. The owner, Chuck Morris is a certified arborist, per his Yellow Page ad. I will use them again.

They came highly recommended to us. There was a bit of a wait because they were so popular. We were pleased.

I called him to come out and look at a 70 year old sick oak. At first, he said it looked fine, healthy. It wasn't until after I told him that it had significantly less foliage than usual and lots of dead limbs that he said maybe it just was affected by drought. I explained that the tree had sentimental value because it had been my dad's, who has since passed away. I showed him that surrounding trees seemed to be doing okay with same amount of water. I had to convince him that something was wrong with the tree. (I have known this big beautiful oak for many years and noticed a big change since winter budding.) He then scrapped some dirt from around base with a knife and said maybe the crowns of roots were not exposed enough. He then got in his truck and called a friend, a fellow tree specialist in Louisiana. He came back and said they could bring in a special air cutter from Louisiana, and fertilize the tree with nutrients and root stimulator for a price of $3200 to greater than $4000. I said no, I couldn't afford that much. He said, "Okay, you gonna pay me now?" I wrote him a check for $150 for about 15 minutes of his time. No actual work was done, and he did not offer any alternatives. I do not feel that it was worth it and cannot believe someone like him could sleep at night. UPDATE: He contacted me after seeing this review and refunded the $150.
