It took over 2 weeks to get my dishwasher repaired. He came twice and needed to order more parts. Then when he did fix it he left the dishwasher crooked. After he fixed it and left I noticed he didn't hook up the plate below the dishwasher and it fell off each time the door was opened. He came back and fixed that but then I noticed a leak where he undid the kitchen pipes. NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND TOTALLY INCOMPETENT.

They started off with appliances and now they have expanded into furniture and mattresses. I have been using them for some time and my experience was fine. I use the same lady each time and they deliver mattresses for me. They are helpful and I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Conn's Appliances to purchase mattresses and box springs about 10 months ago.

When I bought the TV I was told they were out of stock on the Shrek Start Kit which included 4 Shrek movies and 2 Samsung 3-D glasses but they would be in the following week and I would receive a call. Time passed and no phone call was received. I called the store to check on it and was told they were not on the truck and they should be here the following week and I would get a call. Time passed and no phone call. I called the store again and spoke to a manager who assured me they would be in at the end of the month and they would call. End of the month came around and no phone call. So I called again to check the status and they are still back ordered. I was told it could be several months before they got any in. They blamed Samsung for the delay. Oddly enough, I looked on Amazon.com and found loads of these starter packs for sell and gauranteed delivery in 3 days time. CONNS has not offered any alternatives other than keep waiting. I would be happy with them giving me the money needed to buy the glasses from Amazon. To date this is still not resolved. So if you are buying something in a package deal, you may want to look around if they do not have all the peices on site. As far as would I use this company again in the future, my only options were yes and no but to tell you the truth I am undecided. At a minimum I will use extream caution when purchasing packaged deals.
Description of Work: Purchased a Samsung 46" 240HZ 3D LED TV from the store. The price included A Samsung 3D Blu-Ray player, a Samsung Internet Link Stick, and a 3D Shrek Starter Kit

very simple. conns simply did not live up to their contract. I purchased extended warrantys from them on both appliances and its now been over a year and conns have not lived up to either
Description of Work: I have purchased several items from conns. but most recently was a freezer which lasted 14 months. and a big screen television which lasted 2 years. on both conns did not honor their extended service agreement

Conn's Appliances will have certain brands but they wont carry all the brands. The sales team tries to oversell me on products. I have been searching on the internet for different products and I went to the store looking for a paticular brand. They didn't carry that brand and they simply tried to sell me the product that they carried instead of trying to assist me with the item I originally wanted. They made me feel uncomfortable and I ended up not purchasing anything from them.

I have been without an oven since 3/9 on a stove that has only been used for a little more than 2 years. This means we were unable to have our traditional Easter family lunch and dinner. The stove was purchased brand new with an extended warranty from Conn's. The stove and the extended warranty have been paid in full for some time. The stove is a GE glass top, stainless steel model number GLEFZ379FC, also not recommended. The extended warranty is through 11/16/2010. All paperwork is available for proof. I have repeatedly called and I have been repeatedly promised that someone will call me back. There was to have been a service person to repair the stove on 3/20. The person never called and never showed up. When we called the following Monday we were promised that someone would call us back, but we also found out that no part had been ordered. This game went on and on and we were repeatedly promised that the part had been ordered and that someone would call us back with an explanation. On 4/03 someone slipped and admitted that the part had not been ordered, but that it could not be ordered until Monday 4/6 because of inventory and we were promised a call back confirming the ordering of the part. Needless to say no call came Monday 4/6 and 4/7 I called and no part had been order and there was no explanation of why, when a part would be ordered, an offer for a manager to call us back, and no apology whatsoever! The customer service is beyond atrocious and the only responses I get are sarcastic "I do not knows" and "I cannot answer for someone else" and there is NEVER a manager available to speak to me. I called one of the stores in an attempt to get some help and they openly admitted that they cannot get any further with the situation than what I can. The store number I called is 512-335-1001 and the customer service number, if you can call it that is 1-800-280-1514. The store that attempted to help me called and acted as if they were me and they were equally as appalled by the customer service attitude. The person at the store repeatedly apologized that there was nothing he could do, but there was no way for him to push anything any further and that his service manager said that I needed to call customer service; the manager still said this even after the helpful person told him that not even a Conn's employee could get an answer out of customer service. With this experience, I am MORE than shocked to see A+ BBB rating especially coupled with the number of complaints filed in the last 36, which totaled 1,930! These circumstances are making me rethink my belief in using and the credibility of the BBB itself and businesses that are BBB accredited.

THE DELIVERY DRIVER WAS ON TIME. THE SALESMAN WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING ME FIND THE RIGHT UNIT FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND.
