From day one we had problems which continued through out our stay andeven kept the majority of our deposit. We arrived in town that evening so I didn't go to the house until the following morning to meet the movers. When I walked in, I was extremely upset. The house was filthy. There were dead flies everywhere not to mention swarming outside. Found out a couple of days later that the garage cans were full with rottening food. Floors, blinds, cabinets, everything was just NOT CLEAN. It was so bad that the movers didn't unpack any of my things. They stacked everything in the garage. When I called the agency at 10.(movers came at 8) she sent two ladies to do very very light cleaning. I had to go and clean everything. When I went into the agency the next day to complain in person, Mrs. Wright(the owner) was sitting at the front desk. She proceeded to tell me that a man's cleaning was different from a lady which made not sense. Oh and the lady who I was talking to never introduced herself as the owner to me. I didn't find out until a month later who she was which I thought was very unprofessional. We were not in there but about 3 days and a pipe burst and water was flowing in the garage.(Mind you all of my things were packed in this garage.) She didn't send someone out until the following day. Shirley (the owner) told me that things like this happen when you move into a home. We were in the house for about a little over a week and the air wasn't cooling. This proceed quite a bit during our stay there within our year lease and a couple of months before we moved out the owner decided to change the air conditioner. We had numerous problems with this house. Everything was breaking toilet, water faucets.It got so bad that this agency was rude to us when we called to complain and they took days to send someone over to fix things. Like we explained to Ms. Wright if we are paying to stay here that we expect for everything to work for this is our home at least for the time being.The house was not insulated at all. I had to put up two quilts on the wall in one room because in the winter cold air was coming in. Let's fast forward to us moving out. We had the place professionally cleaned. We had the lawn mowed.We did leave two weeks before our actual lease was up but the day I turn the key in was the same day I had all this done. I understand that she had to prorate the rent eventhough we weren't there. What I did have a problem with that she charged us to clean the stove $40 and $65 to mow the lawn.(That house was clean even the stove was spotless. I told her that house was a lot cleaner than what she gave it to us.) She had the nerve to tell me that she gave us too much money back. This woman is horrible. She will know exactly who I am once she reads this. That year and a half I lived in Beaumont was horrible. She shouldn't be in business at all and I know if she did this to my family that they are others out there as well. If you are relocating to this area, please please do not use the Management team. Not to mention everytime that I went there to pay that they were outside the office smoking and on the cell phone while leaning against the wall. What a joke!
Description of Work: We were relocating to the area and we used this particular agency for a rental property. We needed something fast. My husband was living in a hotel there so I wasn't there when he found the house and signed the lease. There was house that they supposely was updating. The joke was on us!!! I feel she took advantage of our situation.
