"I would not recommend the Garage Door Doctor to anyone. I was told the technician would provide an estimate for a $59 site visit fee. However, the technician, Cecil, came and gave me an estimate of $442.50 without performing any work. He then claimed the garage door needed to be replaced for $6,500, including the garage door opener. When I told him I would get a second quote before replacing the door, he suddenly stated that the garage door could be fixed and that the motor needed to be replaced, for which he would charge $1,500. In the end, I paid $442.50 without getting the door fixed. Stay away from this company!"

"They deserve to be sued and put out of business due to the hazards their garage doors cause across Houston . Our garage door fell on top of our car and our neighbors almost fell on top of their family including a small child. This is a frequent occurrence with all of their doors throughout communities . They continue to state that this is not their problem despite three doors falling off their tracks on our street alone. They are liars, they don’t show up on their appointment time, and they don’t even tell you when their appointment time is. We took multiple days off of work, they never showed. They used the excuse that the employees were sick and hospitalized and then when I’d respond with but I spoke to them 2 hours ago they’d stumble and say well we’re not sure. We were forced to use them when buying a new home however, if I could have the choice I would tell them to leave a garage door off the house and not pay for such a terrible and deadly service. For your safety, DO NOT use this company."
