This is one story for me that had a happpy ending from the beginning to the completion of the work.

He did a real good job on the ramp. He matched all the stuff I already had on the porch. He just extended it because I had broken my leg and I live alone. I was trying to get as independent as possible. I have a scooter and needed to get around. He is like family and he does great work. I was so impressed with him that I didn't get another quote. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I had just and quot;unsuccessfullyand quot; concluded a remodeling project on our home and were very skeptical of , so when Kenneth came out to view the tasks to enable him to provide an estimate we were very leery and cautious to say the least. He addressed our and quot;concernsand quot; very professionally, actually and quot;listenedand quot; to us as we outlined the work we wsihed done, took detailed measurements and notes, provided a very easily understood and quot;itemizedand quot; estimate of the costs to complete our project, and did so within a matter of days. By handling everything in such a timely, positive, professional manner, Kenneth earned our business - which turned out to be a GREAT decision on our part!! Everything - and I mean everything - was not only completed thoroughly and on time but the workmanship was beyond superb! As the project was underway, there were several opportunities for suggestions from Kenneth which highlighted items missed by my wife and I that we incorporated to make the outcome even better! One last item of note, not only were Kenneth and his crew professional but they were courteous, to a man, throughout our project - and cleaned up after every task - never leaving any construction and quot;messand quot; with which to deal! The first project went so well, we had them back to install gutters within a month of completing the first work! Based on Kenneth's performance, I surely wish that we'd had an opportunity to have worked with him on the initial remodel job of our home that nearly soured us on tradesmen forever! We cannot recommend Kenneth's services any more highly! If you are looking for a craftsman who cares about your projects being completed on time, within cost estimates, and with high quality workmanship with which you'll be thoroughly pleased you can hire no better and quot;partnerand quot; than Kenneth Hutson and Hutson Construction!

I searched high and low to find someone who could do some major and minor repairs on my house as I prepared to put it up for sale. I was referred to Kenneth by another contractor who was highly recommended to me, but whom I had never met. This other guy was busy and recommended Kenneth. Kenneth came out and itemized an estimate for all of the things I wanted addressed, ranging from isolating and fixing a hard to find exterior leak, fixing the faulty deck installation I had done a couple of years ago by adding deck flashing, to replacing some rotted siding and helping me get rid of the mountain of stuff I had collected in my garage. I also had 3 new exhaust fans that I wanted installed in place of the ancient ones in 3 baths... all of which had different size openings than the older ones. As Kenneth was finishing up the items on my list, some rotten siding was spotted on an exterior wall that was up 2.5 stories high above a very very steep hill. We amended the contract to include this hard to access work. As Kenneth was painting a small 3rd floor exterior wall, he discovered a large gap in the flashing between the roof and this 3rd floor jutting enclosure. Kenneth is thorough, prompt, professional,ethical, and works at a great pace. He shows up when he says he will and does an excellent job. His estimates were insightful and reasonable. He went out of his way to find deck siding that matched my house. And he did little extra things, like re-seating a toilet while he was in this tiny enclosed space applying ceiling texture. Kenneth is my go-to guy for jobs big and small.

Kenneth kept in touch with the barn builder, since he was working in there while the structure was under construction. He showed up when he said he would, or called the night before to advise changes in plans. I never found myself wondering if I ever going to see him again! He did the work that we agreed upon and an extra thing or two. For example, my barn has a few ceiling fans and I opted for remote control for those; he built me a small 'remote center' board and mounted the remotes on it, color coded, so I wouldn't lose the remotes in the barn and knew which one was for which fan! That was nice. He also gave me, no extra charge, a timer for the outside lights that he'd had hanging around in his shop because the cover had some rust; just perfect for a barn application! Several times during the work he had me come and check on progress, asked specific questions about placement, usage, etc. This job was mostly electrical but Kenneth is a general contractor, so he identified a couple of other areas that could be done a bit differently and bid them for a separate contract. Kenneth was prompt and professional, but also very kind and personable. My dog and my son are crazy about him!
