Excel Inspections

Do to a misunderstanding with the builder, we needed to schedule our third party new home inspection within a couple of days. I contacted Excel and talked to Ann Runnels on the phone on Thursday. Ann was very pleasant, reviewed the scope and cost of the service and she was very willing to try and meet my short time requirement. They were able to set up an appoinment for the next day, a Friday afternoon. I had contacted a few other home inspection companies and they just said they were busy and couldn't help me. Rick Runnels (the owner) and his son, Brandon Runnels, gave me a call about 30 minutes in advance and met me a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time. They efficiently did the inspection and then reviewed the entire report with me (not just the items that had issues). I had a written report sent to me just a few hours later that same day. They found a couple of key items that needed to be addressed by the builder and also provided peace of mind that the other areas covered by their review had no issues. They had recently performed some other new home inspections by the same builder on the same street so they were familiar with the builder's construction. I have only positive comments about Excel. They were busy and found a way to help me out. They were all a joy to do busines with and I would recommend them for any new or exisisting home inspection.
