They came out and left & did not tell me he was leaving. I went out a few days later and the water was still filthy. I called and they said that they did not clean the water and just cleaned the filter and put a part on there. I only had asked them to clean the water he then got very belligerent and told me to never call him again but he still sent me a bill even though he did not do the service I asked.
Description of Work: I hired them to clean the water in my pool because it was filthy.

Response from TRI COUNTY POOL SERVICE
The member called me to ask if I would come out to check the circulation in her pool. I gladly told her I would send someone to check the pool pump and filter due to this is what creates the circulation in a pool, as soon as we were available. I sent two of my employees out to her pool on 11/20/12 and instructed them to check the pool pump and filter. Upon arrival they found a worn out stem o-ring on a jandy valve. As a result it was sucking air in front of the pump, which will cause poor circulation. After disassembling the valve and installing a new stem o-ring the pool pump began operating at near normal capacity. Once they got the pump working correctly the pressure on the filter increased, which is an indication that the cartridges in the filter needed to be cleaned in order for the pool to circulate properly. They disassembled the filter and cleaned all four cartridges and then reassembled the filter. Upon starting up the filter system the circulation in the pool was great, above standard. We consider the job successfully completed. The following morning in the office we discussed her pool and it was mentioned to me by my employees that they were happy with the results of pool circulation but the pool really needed to be cleaned & vacuumed and assumed that it had not been probably cleaned or vacuumed since our last cleaning visit approximately a year ago. They did not clean the pool due to the member never mentioned she would like us to clean her pool. We do not clean a pool unless asked by a customer due to cleaning is an extra charge. About one week or so later after completing the job I received a phone call from her around 6:00 p.m., after hours. She was yelling that I needed to get out to her pool right then and finish the job. I tried to explain to her that the job she asked us to do was complete, and the pool was circulating above standards. She yelled at me that the pool was not clean and we did not do the job, again I tried to explain, but she began to cuss at me and use inappropriate name calling when referring to one of my employees. When she began this behavior I also began to raise my voice and become upset over my employees being called inappropriate names. I proceeded to tell her due to her dissatisfaction and behavior she could call someone else to clean her pool that we had already completed the job she asked of us. My company has been in business along time due to our integrity, honesty and good work ethics. We do jobs to the best of our ability and go above and beyond to treat our customers with the same respect as they treat us. If she had called and asked me in a polite manor/told me in a polite manor that she had forgotten to ask me, or that there had been a misunderstanding, or even just a flat out lack of communication, but she also wanted us to clean her pool on top of fixing the circulation. I would have gladly put her on the list for one of my employees or me, to go to her pool and clean it appropriately. We did the job the member ask us to do and only billed her for what we did. We have enclosed a copy of the same bill that we sent her first on 11/26/12 & then again on 12/19/12 due to it being unpaid. As of today 1/30/12 the bill still remains unpaid. I am sorry that she is disappointed. We hope she will find a pool company that will go above and beyond her expectations. We know we sure tried. Sincerely, Keith Thomas Tri-county Pool Service (817) 237-1301

They show up every week. I have had problems with my heater and salt cell. The heater has been a big problem so if I am not there it does not get addressed. They lost my manual to it. There seems to be no resolution for me so I may need to search for someone else. The salt cell went all last summer broken and I did the research and I was able to get a new one and have them replace it. This is our first pool and they have been able to assist with the weekly pool care, but not anything aside from that on a timely basis.
Description of Work: They come out weekly and they do a general pool cleaning and check the chemicals.
