All refrigerant was gone. Detected major leak issues in indoor coil. Decided to replace the entire 18-year old unit with a new high efficiency one. Absolutely best experience with A/C work that I have had.

I've always been very satisfied with their work. They do very well. I have no complaints . Their price is reasonable. They are always on time.

Called Poe Air to check our systems going into the late summer and fall as the sun hits many windows which causes our home to heat up much more in the afternoon. Poe Air checked our systems, balanced them and was quick, professional and polite. The tune up was noticable within moments, they run far less, cool more and I can hear the cieling fans hum since the the units are off more than they are on .Less stress on the aging systems and much lower electric bills! Great work by Gary Poe.

Called pool service companies who basically said our heater was old and needed to be replaced at $6,000.00 without even looking at it. Called our type of heater as cheap and compared it to a KIA. Gary Poe was called because I knew how good he was with our HVAC's and I thought he would be able to look at it. Gary is honest and smart, he had it up and running great in moments. Poe Air is awesome

Came out and fixed our problem without trying to oversell us another system.So thrilled to have cool air again. Finally, a service person who can actually do his job and is trustworthy. We told him we might be moving, or we might be here another 20 years. He suggested a repair, as well as what we should do if we wanted to get a new system. He patiently answered all our questions. We called in other folks to get quotes and to try to fix it, including the ones who installed the system, as well as made a recent repair that didn't work. One company tried to sell us a new system. Our old service company came out and tried to sell us an additional system for the back of the house. They didn't see the error their last worker had made. When Gary Poe came back to repair our system, since we had lost trust with our old company, he told us the other company had replaced one of our parts with one that was the wrong size. He fixed it quickly and we have cooler air finally and a great quote for when we decide to replace the whole thing. So glad we called Poe Air.

We have 4 HVAC units and were concerned that with the record breaking 71 days of heat over 100 degrees in 2011, it seems this year we are already experiencing some high heat early in the season which required us to utilize our AC. On the recent days of mid to high 80s when the AC kicked on, we noticed the house didn’t seem to be cooling off as much as expected so after doing some research, I found Gary Poe, owner of Poe Air, who was prompt at returning my calls and expeditiously fit us into his calendar for a complete balance of our systems. Upon his thorough inspection, he detected a large leak in the one of the systems. He was able to locate the leak, immediately welded it, and rebalanced it with R22. I was outside with him during the rebalance and when I came inside the house, my wife promptly said “it’s working now!” – when I checked the inside vent with an instant read thermometer, it read 56F. I’m not certain, but I strongly feel that many companies might have opted to sell us a new system costing us a lot of unbudgeted expenses. We are so appreciative that Gary was knowledgeable and experienced enough to be able to identify and locate the leak, weld it and rebalance our system to immediate working condition at a reasonable cost compared to having being forced to purchase new systems at an unanticipated time. Gary is as professional, hardworking and honest as you will find in the field of HVAC, or any other field as well! We have used others and had the feeling of being taken advantage of, but that is certainly not the case with Gary. If the time comes when we consider installing new “top of the line systems” (hopefully by choice and not necessity!), we won’t think twice about having Poe Air be the company we call without needing a second opinion or soliciting bids. He is definitely the contractor you want to call for all your HVAC needs. He knows his HVAC stuff far better than most. AAA+++
