We contracted Keith to build us a combination shed/workshop in our back yard. We couldn?t be happier with the result! The construction of the shop is absolutely first class. The shop is a 10? x 20? insulated barn style shed with two windows, two lofts, a regular single door, and a double door for bringing larger equipment in/out. He built steps for the single door and a ramp for the double doors. He installed an air conditioner/heater (that we purchased) into one of the walls. Keith worked with us extensively to make sure that the finished shop had all the features that we needed for it to have. Knowing that it would serve as a shop, he even made several excellent suggestions for additional features to make it better suited for that purpose. He incorporated many of these enhancements into the shop at little to no extra cost over the bid. Keith and his crew were unfailingly polite. They put in serious effort to complete this project in the wettest, rainiest May I?ve ever known. And he went out of his way to coordinate with another contractor that our city required us to bring in for some of the work. I would recommend Keith without hesitation. If I ever need another structure like this, he is the only builder I will contact.

It is built like a tank. It is perfect in every way, and absolutely beautiful. I've never so pleased with a vendor.

Keith and his crew were awesome, in no time at all (seemed like it) the shed was up! Very professional! Keith and his crew are very personable, easy to talk to. We enjoyed the experience. We will definitely use them again for other projects and we WILL recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Job well done!

First I'll let the pictures posted do the bragging ! It is really great, solid work and we are very pleased. This is now the new home of all my outdoor gardening, landscaping, and maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment that had previously been stuffed into the garage. We found and quot;Custom Sheds by Keithand quot; here on Angie's List. I was a bit concerned that he was way over in Ft. Worth, and we are in north east Dallas/Richardson, but he was so immediately helpful (he called right back to discuss) and easy to work with over email for the design, options, and pricing, that we decided to book him. Keith and his guys were at the worksite at 7am SHARP every day, so I would not let his home base location worry you. On the first day, Keith arrived at 7am sharp with every tool and supply needed to completely build the shed. He walked us through the steps/plans, encouraged us to watch and ask questions, and then got right to work. As major steps were completed, he took pictures and emailed them to us. By early afternoon of the first day the solid shed base and most of the walls were already up, and it was obvious the job was in very good, trustworthy hands. I was able to leave for work on subsequent mornings with no stress - and Keith kept us updated all the way throughout the day / sending pictures of the progress etc. By noon on the 3rd day, he let me know they were finishing up, and we did the final and quot;walk throughand quot;. Keith's attention to detail and carpentry are top notch. I know it is just a shed, but Keith builds it like a house, and to last, which gets high marks on my list! The quality of the build and materials made it easy for me to save a few bucks by doing the final caulking and painting finish work myself. A few other comments: - I'd say definitely go for the eaves/overhangs option...it sounds like a lot at $100 per side for an overhang, BUT that includes everything you would typically get on a house overhang like the soffit/underside and fascia/trim - it is quite a bit of extra material and labor. It really takes it from looking like a and quot;shedand quot; to being a mini-house. - Note how the base of the shed is and quot;skirtedand quot;/finished to the ground level (so you don't see under and so animals will not set up shop under etc.). Keith's design makes this possible because the heavy 2X6 frame is on blocks off the ground and is treated, as is the flooring (marine grade). Furthermore the special siding (and quot;LP Smart Sideand quot;) is able to withstand being close to the ground/moisture (and quot;40 yearsand quot; according to LP) . - If you are in the market for a real carpentry grade shed that will compliment your property , I would highly recommend talking with Custom Sheds by Keith !

Keith provided excellent customer service. He is very well spoken and answers correspondence almost immediately. Very professional. Very knowledgeable. Not pushy in any way. Keith is very likeable and helpful. I recommend that you give him a shot. Although I didn't purchase from him right now, Keith took the time to educate me on my options. Thank you Keith!!!

We had a great experience with Sheds by Keith! The "shed" exceeded our expectations. I actually have a hard time calling it a "shed" because it is such high quality that it is more like a little house. The quality of construction is excellent and I would recommend Sheds by Keith to anyone. Keith and his wonderful crew arrived right on time every day and were all very kind, courteous and professional. Sheds by Keith went the extra mile, they cleaned up their work area every night and paid attention to little details like closing the gate to keep my dogs safe. I highly recommend Sheds by Keith!

Keith is exceptional. Such a pleasure to deal with someone who does what he says and exceeds expectations in every way. We compared Keith's price to the lower quality and quot;box storeand quot; prices and found him to be very close in cost for a much better quality shed. He hand selected all the materials, made changes and quot;on the flyand quot; when we asked. Couldn't ask for a better person to work with and we are very pleased with the final product.

Keith designed the structure based on a photo I e-mailed him of what I had in mind. He showed up when he said he would, finished the job on time, the workmanship was excellent and the interaction and professionalism impeccable.

Built a high quality shed in my backyard the craftsmanship is out standing. Keith was a pleasure dealing with, answered all the questions. Kept me informed daily of progress.

Keith did a fantastic job of keeping us posted on start date and time. He is very nice and very professional as far as keeping everything neat and sending us pics via email of every stage of the build. His work ethic is stellar and he always communicated with us regarding his arrival times and what time frame we were expecting on completion. I would highly recommend using Keith as your first choice to build any type of shed for any purpose. He also will give suggestions along the way of possible additions he could make for a more efficient storage unit. He even added a doggy door for us!

Keith is the best contractor I have ever used, bar none! He was on time, kept in communication, and did what he promised for what he quoted. Would give him an A+, but apparently that grade doesn't exist. P.S. My wife was impressed, and she hates contractors!

Keith built an amazing shed with true craftsmanship: it's built like a house, only smaller. His quality is not available in a pre-fab shed at any price. His communication was frequent, professional and courteous. He called when he said he would call, he showed up on-time and cleaned and organized the work area at the end of each day. Our shed looks amazing and I routinely get compliments from friend and family. I can not say enough positive things about Keith or his workmanship. He is the best contractor I have had the opportunity to work with.

I'm proud to recommend Keith to build your shed. Initially, you may think the price is a bit high, but wait..... look at the specs Keith provides. I looked at Tuff Shed which offered 2 x 3 studs on 24and quot; centers. Extra charge for an upgraded base, roof sheathing, vents, and shelves. Keith built an awesome base, used all 2 x 4 studs on 16and quot; centers, reflective roof sheathing, and provided vents and heavy duty shelving as part of his standard package. You will never get the care and workmanship anywhere else that Keith provides. He is hard working, honest, and takes personal pride in his work. If you were to add A/C, insulation, and plumbing, you could live comfortable in his shed. If I had it to do over, I would change.... Nothing!

I have been using many service men and contractors since I moved into my home in March. I have used many services off Angie's list over the last few years because our last house was a and quot;money pitand quot;. So I have had to, sort of, act as my own general contractor too many times. I have had a great many well meaning and not so well meaning trades people who quoted and promissed me services that turned out to be problematic and frustrating for a great number of reasons, But not Keith. Keith more than delivered his quoted product, on time and on budget. He built a 10' x 16and quot; Shed for me (seems like such a banal discription of the dandy structure that I ended up with). NO compairison to the sheds offered at the big home stores at comparable cost and far lower quality. He was open to the suggested extras that I asked for and he offered other creative ways of making the structure fit my needs, alway in a professional and respectful way. I felt like I was getting the type of service that people now say is: and quot;the good old fashioned way things used to be doneand quot;. Keith specializes in one thing; Sheds. He does his job with great competency and pride of worksmanship. I received a whole lot more for my money than I expected, I am very satisfied.

The build went great. No complaints and the final product looks great. This allowed me to move all of my lawn equipment out of the garage so I can actually use it as a garage. I'd use him again.

Keith was on time, on budget, and professional throughout. I work from home, so I was around quite a bit to see things as they went along. He was very communicative without being intrusive. The shed is exactly what we wanted, the way we wanted it, and he was a pleasure to have around. Shed is level, solid, well constructed with good materials. (he hand picks his wood to make sure it's not twisted etc..) You can get the same shed (seemingly) in less expensive kits from various competitors, but they are not of the same quality (by far) . I feel that I received good value for the money I spent. I would not hesitate to recommend Keith to anyone interested in putting a nice shed on their property.

After a great deal of time spent comparison shopping, we have never regretted our decision to hire Keith to build our shed. We have been very impressed with his construction talents, the pride he takes in his work, his professionalism, communication and work ethic. In fact, we are getting a fence estimate from him as well, and know he builds an exceptional fence, with a mindfulness of function, durability and aesthetics. We appreciate that he hand picks the best materials, is extremely knowledgeable, does what he says he will do, and, anticipating details that we may not have foreseen, he makes practical suggestions along the way. His stated goal was to build a shed that we loved - and it was a great experience. We are thrilled with the finished product, and will definitely hire him for future projects!

We haven't used anyone yet. The guy was fine. He did a quick quote. There was nothing wrong with him at all and he did fine.

keith always arrived on time, was always curteous and kept me fully informed as he custom built my shed. The price was good and the service was great. The shed is visually appealing and was put together solidly. If I need another one, i'd hire him to do it again. Great experience.

Was cleaning out my garage and needed additional storage, didn't want to pay for a monthly storage facility. Called Mr. From discussed what I was looking for and went with a shed that had floor and attic storage.

The project was a 4 1/2 to 5 day project. Daily reviews were conducted to assure me that the design was as I wanted and if any changes needed to be made. This interaction made for a finished product exactly as I had envisioned.
