This was not the first time I had used Xtra Maid. Just like the previous occasions, they showed up on time, worked tirelessly the entire time until the job was finished. I will be using them again in the future.

They did a good job if I had wanted just a regular cleaning, but I thought I was getting a deep cleaning. My house was fairly clean but I wanted high bookshelves and horizontal blinds on big high windows cleaned thoroughly and my balcony cleaned well (which I paid extra for). I spoke with Gabriel about how my condo is small and which deal I should pay for and he said the deep cleaning deal was the one needed for the scope of work. I was willing to pay for the unlimited time cleaning suitable for a large home because of the ladder climbing required and the cleaning on the balcony I thought it would take a long time. Two women came they did a good job on the regular cleaning items, we had to call Gabriel to get them to do the high bookshelves and balcony as I had already agreed to with Gabriel) they just did a fair job on the deep cleaning ones (which I didn't check before they left so that is partly my fault) and it took them 2.5 hours altogether (so 5 hours) so I feel that I didn't get a "deal" and could have paid for their 6 hour deal instead. If I just needed a regular cleaning I would hire them again but will look for a different company for a deep cleaning.

The end result was ok, but everything leading up to it was sub standard. 1) I had a date agreed up with the owner. The cleaning crew showed up 3 days early! My wife answered the door and had trouble communicating since none on the crew were proficient in English. 2) I communicated the language issue to the owner, but it was never addressed. A cleaning crew showed up on the scheduled day, but were still unable to communicate with my wife. 3) The end result was that the cleaning crew cleaned things that my wife did not want them to touch and missed some things that my wife wanted them to clean. Overall, the work they did was good, but not great. Considering how the whole episode played out, I would never use this business again unless they did something about the language problem.

The company responded and scheduled the service quickly. They were good about giving a specific time, coming at that time, and doing a thorough job. My only complaint is that the cleaning products used left a lingering smell--not just a "clean" scent, but a "strong" smell. Otherwise, they did a good job.

Horrible had to clean my house before my guest arrived and I didn't get my money back. Rip off

I hired 2 people for 4 hrs since this was a move out cleaning. There was no furniture so it was pretty straight forward such as bathrooms, vacuum, ceiling fans, windows, etc. . The cleaning people arrived about 20 mins late, but left on time. Also, it was difficult to communicate because neither person spoke English so I had to point on what needed to be completed. The cleaning was below average as it wasn't finished so overall disappointed.

The ladies work hard and consistently during their time at my home. If we can't communicate because of a language barrier they still attempt to try to understand and leave my home so much cleaner!

It was very easy to communicate with XtraMaid and the price certainly was right. From a cleaning perspective, they did a fairly good job. They brought everything they needed to do the job. They were here and working the entire time. The house looked good when they left. The reason I would not use them again were: 1) They put garbage in our recycling bin. I had to back through and pick out the garbage to but it in my garbage bin. 2) They didn't seem to know how to open/close our french doors and ended up leaving then open and broken. While I was able to fix them...If they had trouble, they should have asked. Once they broke them, they should have told me. If you want an inexpensive clean-up service, these folks seem pretty good. You just need to keep an eye on them.

We hired this company to an all over clean of our house. We got a great deal on Angie's List for eight hours of service. They sent four people and they cleaned for a little over two hours. They cleaned everything, even the oven which other companies said they wouldn't do. They changed all the linens on the beds, vacuumed all the carpets, cleaned the blinds, counters, bathrooms, etc. Overall, they did a really thorough job.

Xtra Maid LLC rescheduled my first appointment, which was understandable. Its what happened after that which astonished me. The appointment was set for 1pm on a Tuesday which I was able to take time from work to accomodate. Xtra Maid emailed me indicating they would actually be early (by about 2 hours). This appeared to be great news! HOWEVER, when 11am rolled around they was still no one there. I emailed them to see what may have happened, but no reply. I then waited until 1pm (the original time scheduled). STILL NO ONE. I called, left a message, and emailed this time. NO REPLY OR COMMUNICATION. I am writing this review at 5pm. STILL NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO SHOW! Entire day wasted. Will never use this vendor again, and demanding a full refund. This vendor is not reliable and I would recommend not using them.

It went really well and I have used him since then, too. As a matter of fact, I am trying to confirm the team coming back on Tuesday as I appreciate their service.

Previous cleanings have been good, but not great. The cleaners show up on-time, and do a good job of basic cleaning. Like all maids, the first clean took hours and hours, but subsequent visits were quite a bit shorter. That being said, we're happy to have them back - if they'd contact me.

It went really well. Everything smelled fresh and clean.

The women were very nice and very hard workers. I think they were a bit over worked by the time they arrived at my house after 4:30 PM. They worked a bit longer than the three hours but by 7:30 PM we were all getting tired. I thought they had had a full work day so I sent them away around 8:00 PM. Their cleaning work was very satisfactory, but the timing was off.

Xtra Maids did an excellent job! Scheduling was easy and they arrived on time. They got to work immediately and spent 4.5 hours cleaning our house top to bottom. They were very hard workers and were VERY meticulous and the house looked amazing after they left. I would definitely hire them again!

A crew of three came to clean my 3bd, 2ba single story house. They arrived a bit late, and left "on time" The house had not been professionally cleaned before, so there was a lot of detail work to do. They performed a good job, spending the majority of the time cleaning the bathrooms. The floors were vacuumed, the windows were wiped clean, and the kitchen was wiped down and sanitized. All surfaces were dusted and polished. They cleaned the ovens, but were in a rush when it was close to the time to leave and left oven cleaner residue in the upper oven. The work was done as promised, and if every detail wasn't gotten, the majority was done well and with good humor and grace, earning an A overall.

it was awesome. 4 women came in and 1.25 hrs later, my house was spotless!!! One was in kitchen the whole time, one came in with a vacuum cleaner strapped to her back. One came in with tall dipuster stick and started dusting ceilings, floor trim and ceiling fans and blinds. They never stopped. It was awesome

Is it possible to run out of superlatives? The ladies from Xtra Maid have been cleaning my home every second week now for a couple of months...since my housekeeper retired. Yesterday, Gabriel accompanied the two new ladies out to make sure that they understood the routine as well as my likes and dislikes. They cleaned everything, including the blinds...which probably had less dust on them than when they were installed :-) To top it off, Gabriel followed up with me today just to make sure everything was fine. It truly doesn't get better than this.
