Fantastic. They were here about three weeks. No additional costs, that was it. They get A+'s across the board. If there was something above an A+, they get that. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

When they actually showed up things went well. The problem was in getting them to show up. Frequently they would not come on the scheduled day, and even more frequently they would not arrive at an appointed time.

Let me start by saying I have hired Xtramaid about 5 or 6 times prior to this on Angieslist with no problems they do a decent job not great but ok. I hired them this time and I noticed the price increase for the same exact 6 hours for $99 is not 6 hours for $135. I hired them anyways even though I think for the decent ok job they do $135 is kind of steep for what they do, very basic houscleaning with alot of things overlooked. I scheduled an afternoon appt the 2 cleaners arrived today at about 3:30 which was fine my big problem with todays visit was that they left at 6:00 and didnt work 6 hours as i paid for they worked more like 5 and they left when i went outside to wash my car I wasn't even in the house to check out the job they did or they didnt even ask me to come check it out to see if anything was missed or ask for my thumbs up or approval that rubbed me the wrong way. So i went inside after they left and was not impressed they could have dont a bunch of other things in that last half hour which is technically 1 hour because there is 2 cleaners. The front of my over was still dirty< also told them directly not empty my garbage cans in the house because my main garbage can in the garage was full and did not get picked up last week, but that was ignored because my garbage can in the garage was now overflowing. Unfortunately with Xtramaid they just want to come in and get out as quickly as possible I feel like they should stay the entire time you paid them for in addition I do understand that their English is not good but they need to be able to take directions and they don't take any direction, if i say I want something done one way and i am paying you, you can be sure it better be done that way which is not the case with Xtramaid.

They were okay. I would give them a C. The price was fine. They were very responsive. They were professional. They could have cleaned to my standards. They were here for the six hours. There were no additional costs, it was $125. They did a horrible job on my oven, they didn't do a good job on my appliances, I didn't like the way the floors were cleaned, I just wasn't happy with the quality of it.

Everything looked excellent. Good attention to detail.

NOT WELL at all. Very long details. I gave this service to my daughter and son-in-law as part of their Christmas present because they had out of town guests coming in to stay for several days at their home. They both work outside the home. The appointment was for a "window" of 12:30 to 1:00pm on Monday 12/21. My daughter left work to go meet the service and she was at the house by 12:15. At 1:30, she texted me and said they weren't there yet, could I please contact them as she had tried and got voice mail. I got in touch with Gabriel and he said there was lots of traffic and there was an accident and he would try to get someone over there. He sent me a text 5 minutes later that he could have someone there at 4:30pm (4 hours past the first schedule). I asked if we could move the appointment to the next day or the next day and he said "no" they were booked solid. We agreed on the 4:30pm time. My daughter then went back to work and my son-in-law left work to meet them there. At 5:00pm, my son-in-law said they had not arrived and I texted Gabriel and told him if they were not there in 5 minutes, to please cancel the service. He texted me and said they would be there in 10 minutes (5:15pm) (again blaming traffic). They actually arrived at 5:35pm. They cleaned for 1.5 hours and left (I paid for 3 hours). They swept and mopped the kitchen floor, but did not move the trash can (normal kitchen size trash can) in the kitchen floor to sweep or mop behind it. I should ask for and deserve a $65 refund, but that is not my main issue here. I would not recommend this company for this service and I will not use them in the future.

The first experience was good - not great - but acceptable. That's why the review is a "D" and not an "F". The second experience was disastrous. In a house that was empty except for some staging items of furniture, that had already had the windows and carpetting professionally cleaned, they did very little. For 4 hours two maids cleaned out a kitchen (partially, they didn't bother with the pantry or cleaning some decorative items left in the kitchen for staging purposes), two bathrooms (poorly) and vacuumed the master bedroom, a living room and a dining room. They didn't bother with the laundry room or the mudroom. The windows and all carpetting in the house had already been professionally cleaned (excellent services also purchased through Angie's List). They also broke the hinges off a cabinet in the kitchen without bothering to inform my husband (who was working in the garage the whole time they were there). They didn't bother to go upstairs. They had already been informed (in Spanish) that there were 3 rooms upstairs that had already been cleaned and they didn't need to bother with, so they ignored the whole floor: not dusting the stairs, vacuuming the carpet stairs or cleaning the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. There was not an issue with us that they could not do overtime. It was a given: the house was being prepared for sale. I complained to Xtra Maid Service about the very poor service they provided and not advising my husband they had broken the hinges off a cabinet. The owner apologized and claimed that was all they could do in 8 hours. We had to get in another maid service (which did an excellent job) 2 days later to ensure the house was in shape to be put on the market. The other maid service (2 people in 3 hours) managed to clean up what was poorly done by Xtra Maid Service + clean all the upstairs. They also showed up with 1 day's notice. Xtra Maid Service had made us wait for over a week to schedule their service. Very disappointing.

Excellent work - will use again.

It went very well. They did a good job. The downside for me was that neither of the girls who were here to do my home spoke English. I cannot communicate with them at all. They did have a supervisor come in and out a couple of times but she never took time to talk to me at all. I heard a different voice and went to check that out and she was leaving, she was already out of the house. I never got the chance to even communicate with her. That did not make me too comfortable simply because there were a few things I felt I wanted to ask about, and I never really got that opportunity. They did a good job. I cannot complain about the kind of job that they did but there are certain things like I don't use abrasive cleaners and I never really got the opportunity to talk to anybody about that. I had a housekeeper and they were quite a bit more expensive than my former housekeeper who always did an excellent job, but I never had her do the oven and refrigerator, and they did both. I say they were a little bit high. If the crew leader comes in with the 2 girls that were here and talk to me first so that I could tell her of the specific special things that I wanted them to know about, then I would have felt much better about it, but I didn't get that opportunity.

Very quick and efficient. It was a good service.

Unfortunately, I was not 100% satisfied with the work done. They did not stay the entire 6 hours and they left some things undone. I had to clean the mirrors in the bathroom and dust the window sills and some furniture items as well as some other things left undone. It was not a deep clean. They did not speak English well so it was hard communicating with them. I had a small dog so I kept him with me in a room they were not working on so I could keep him away from them. I tried to move around to rooms I thought they had finished so maybe they thought I was cleaning those rooms, but I paid for a deep cleaning for 6 hours of my house so I was disappointed in the overall service.

First of all, XtraMaid seems to be very busy, and it's difficult to negotiate a time for cleaning that works for both of us. This is the second time I've taken advantage of an XtraMaid offer on Anglie's list. The first time was terrific. Two women came and did a very thorough job cleaning the whole house. This time, three women arrived, only did about half as much as the first two, and were not as thorough. The bottom line is that their service is variable. If you are satisfied with their work and want to schedule them again, get the cleaners' names and ask for them..

It was supposed to be for 3 hours and it wasn't. They said they had to leave early, and left. I felt like I was shortchanged. They did a good job for what they did, but they didn't do a complete job. The price was more than fair. The staff is not reliable.

They did a nice job and made my home holiday guest ready.

So here is the story. My painters sanded, sprayed on primer and sprayed on the first coat of paint with the heater on and without covering the intakes. I was no home at their request because of the fumes from the primer. By the time I got home there was a layer of white all through the house. I mean image seeing a coating of snow on your hardwood floors, couch, rugs, counters, in the sink. Like sand, this stuff got into cracks and crevices that I did not know were there. I tried to find the cleaning service I used to use in South Austin, but figured they must not go up to Leander because I could not find them. I tried several services include ServePro, but no one was willing to clean paint even after I explained that most of it would just wipe up because of the type of paint it is. I got ahold of Xtra and recognized the name main contact as the same person from South Austin. Turns out the name had changed, but the great service remained the same. He came out to assess my needs, we established agreed limitation of the service (he was concerned about rubbing in paint and not being able to get it out). Then we agreed on price and they even came out on a Sunday so that I did not have to live in the mess a minute longer than necessary. I got a hardwood floor cleaner (like a carpet shampooer but for hardwood) at Target, and they even used that. It was a lot of hard work, 4 people all day, and when they were done you would never know it happened. They left tape on areas that they could not clean off so that I could review them with the painter. It was the exact speed, efficiency and thoroughness I had loved about them before. I even signed them up for weekly service again when they were done. No only would I recommend them to you but I recommended them to myself, again.

They arrived earlier than the scheduled time and went right to work. I had not used this company before so I was not familiar with how the cleaning services would be performed. The two ladies worked h****** our home, and it looks and feels great. I could not be more happy with the services. Thank you ladies!!!!!

My experience with them went pretty well. We've had them before and they didn't do as nice a job as they've done before, but they did a good job. It could have been a little better. I like their price. They communicate with me well.

The ladies arrived on time and worked quickly. They cleaned our refrigerator and it looks new! The house was cleaned nicely.

Great job. Brought all of their own tools and supplies. Quick, efficient, and friendly.

I am a repeat customer of Xtra Maids and we are consistently very pleased with the quality and thoroughness of the clean. Alma is our favorite cleaning staff member. Very accommodating and pleasant personality with lots of energy.

It went VERY well. They did great work. The ONLY thing that was disturbing/disappointing was that the lady who cleaned my faux wood blinds -- she banged them so hard she broke one and didn't tell us she did it. A private house cleaner I used in the past did the same thing but she told me she did it. I now tell people NOT to bang on my blinds to get the dust off. :(

Showed up on time, were very polite, spoke broken English. The worked they performed was satisfactory and will use them again.

I had tried calling this company many times to try to schedule when the maids could come out. Months later, I was finally able to contact the company bc Angie's List gave me their number. After scheduling a specific time for them to come out, they showed up 4 hours early and only spoke Spanish. So I tried calling the owner to see if they could come back at their regular time, but no answer, no return call, no nothing. After waiting a few hours after their scheduled time, I figured they weren't going to show, so I called Angie's List to find another maid service. Then finally the maids from Xtra Maid LLC showed up unannounced. This company is very unprofessional and completely unorganized and I will never utilize their services again!

Deep cleaned my house. Did a wonderful job.
