First of all scheduling was a breeze. All communication went through Angie’s List and I was able to book Saturday morning on the Wednesday before. I thought I wanted 6 hrs, but Gabriel explained that wasn’t enough time. I conceded because both prices were reasonable... the “entire house” meant the cleaners would work until it was done and honestly that’s what I needed. Two cleaners arrived at 8am initially and a third a bit later. There was a bit of a language barrier (Spanish and English), but that was only an issue because I had an out of town guest still snoozing in the guest room, my husband was using the master shower, and my son and I were unloading the dishwasher in the kitchen. So now you know we didn’t finish cleaning for the cleaners.... Once they knew what would have to wait they hopped in. The only thing they asked of me was one trash bag. My house is sparkling. I discovered the dust my mom had been sneezing over (I always forget the air vents and never dust above shoulder height...). I will definitely be using them again; probably every 3-4 weeks. Now that I’ve had a clean by Xtra Maid, I can’t go back! -Nikkie

The crew showed up right on time, thoroughly cleaned all rooms of the house, and did a fantastic job! I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again the next time I need a reliable housecleaning service.

The care giver at the house was afraid to have strangers in the house. The maid service was very understanding. I had to cancel due to the care giver. I would use them again in the future. They are very nice and on time. The price quoted was very good.

The 2 ladies came for 3 hours each & did a marvelous job. I will definitely ask for them again.

I was on a very short timetable and wound up rescheduling on short notice. Gabriel was very patient and kind and accommodated me. The work was excellent - these ladies showed up, got right to it and even though my house wasn't empty, as it was supposed to be for a make-ready, they took it in stride and even cleaned things I told them they didn't have to. They did a very thorough and professional job. I'm extremely happy with my experience and they deserve all the great ratings they have. And now they have one more :)

I can't begin to describe the state of our house. I'll just say I knew cleaning it was going to be a big job so I bought the Deep Clean offer and am so glad I did. It was worth every penny. They did an amazing job. I could not be happier and will be arranging regular cleaning service with Xtra Maid.

Gabriel at Xtra Maid was prompt to return my call and set up an appointment. The staff is professional, punctual, and maintain a high quality standard of work. I have hired almost every major cleaning service in Austin. Xtra Maid has done the best work I’ve encountered.

Outstanding work. For a 'deep clean,' there were four maids who worked hard and effectively for several hours. There was a lot of cleaning to do, and they were amazing thorough and careful with our property. We will have them again.

Splendidly, Gabriel was quick to get over & do the work. He used my lockbox & when I saw the house a few days later it was spic & span!

This was my first time ever having a house cleaner, so I have nothing to which to compare it. Overall they did a good job, and they were very fast. They were polite and professional. I felt safe and comfortable with them in my home. I thought they would have done a better job cleaning inside the oven for the "deep clean," but it didn't seem worth calling them back out again for that. The owner did tell me if I saw anything unsatisfactory to call them back, so they probably would have if I asked for it. I just didn't want to take more time out of my schedule for that.

I had to call them back to do the stove and the dishwasher ans some windows but after the work was done I was satisfied.

I was in a tough place with a tight deadline to move-in to a house that we had done some work on - the contractors were way behind schedule and I had to delay move-in, etc. Anyways the house needed extensive cleaning from drywall/wood dust and the overall mess left by contractors. I contacted Gabriel who was super responsive and found me a fantastic team on short notice in order to help me out. He was a lifesaver! I am so grateful for his responsiveness and help, and the two women sent to the house to clean did a wonderful job. They were thorough, conscientious and meticulously cleaned everything so we could move in the next day and I could feel comfortable bringing 2 small children into the home. Wonderful experience and I highly recommend, will hire again!
