I purchased a heater from this company four years ago and I reached out to Jennifer over a month ago and have left four messages. Jennifer was quick to return my first phone call but when she realized there was an issue with negligent installation of a pool heater, she avoided all contact and never made an attempt to make it right. This company is not reputable and does not stand behind their work. I have had two separate pool companies tell me that the heater was installed improperly causing the heater to fail internally and become inoperable. A pool heater should last 15-20 years and this heater was used 3 times. Beware. We have reatined an attorney for this case.

Jenn from Wet Techs is extremely incompetent, not responsive (you have to keep texting or contacting her), and then she will give a ******** answer. She did not help resolve anything. Had to threaten to sue and apparently many other folks at Anthony & Sylvan and other techs have said MANY other customers have complained against her. DO NOT HIRE Them or work with Jenn, Jennifer B, Jennifer. She is AWFUL!!!

This is probably the worst customer service experience I have had in my lifetime, for any matter. Wet Tech's was referred to me by my pool builder to fix broken lights on my pool. My first contact to them was in June 2014, and I continued to try to get them to come out and address the issue all the way up to May 2015. It may seem that I am crazy for being so persistent but the matter is that Wet Tech's repeatedly promised me they were on my case / ordering the parts / would be out in X number of days. The problem is they never followed up on these promises. By October, it seemed they were ready to move forward, but by then the seasons had changed and, apparently, no one in Austin will get inside a pool to change lights in winter months. So, I waited until April and then recontracted them. More of the same -- several emails and texts promising repair by a certain day, but then no follow-up. After 11 months, I gave up, contacted the pool product manufacturer, and moved on. Absurdness.
Description of Work: Warranty service provider for Jandy / Whirlpool. Was supposed to repair my pool lights.

Description of Work: After committing to send a tech on one of two days in the a.m., no tech ever arrived despite repeated on-line and phone inquiries about when a tech could be expected. Mine was a relatively small job and I suspect that they decided there was not enough money in it for them. Had they told me that I would have no issue with them but to simply be stood up is totally unacceptable behavior. Don't use this company. They are either inefficient or unethical. .

Once again I apologize that you were dissatisfied with your experience with our company. I told you that we would be out there within 24-48 hours of your initial contact with our company and that's what we had you on the schedule for. You had requested a morning or afternoon appointment on the 29th or morning of the 30th. I did not commit to a specific time due to a prior job that was already scheduled and we were uncertain of how long it would take to finish. I responded back after I received your 10:40 am email on the 30th telling you the tech was coming out there that day or Friday at the latest but he would call you an hour in advance to confirm. As I sent that message there was another one in my inbox with you firing us. You called our office at 12:30, 12:31 and 12:32 according to the caller id on the 30th while I was at lunch but never left a message. There is no job to small for our company, we are in the business of fixing pool equipment whether is a minor or major repair. Again I'm truly sorry you had a bad experience with our company and hope you give us another chance to earn your business.

Absolutely perfectly! Jen set up the appointment and Chris showed up on-time and prepared to handle the minor issue. The heater was not sensing water temperature correctly. Chris had the part on his truck and changed it out and adjusted the heater controls in front of me. No cost for the repairs or service call. Covered by Jandy warranty, but, Chris also checked every fitting and reviewed several operational points that will reduce my cost of operation and provide even cleaner and clearer water than before. This was Chris's second visit to my newly built pool. in the first visit, he discovered that the pool builder had plumbed my filter in reverse and it was only minimally cleaning. After that was repaired by the builder, including new cartridges, Chris came back out and walked through all operations with me and got me connected to Jandy customer support to help reprogram the computer side of my pool system (a tremendous group of IT support folks that can take over your Jandy system and walk you through programing on your own computer or divice screen). Not only is the Jandy system absolutely incredible, but Wet Tech makes it even better. Both Chris and Jen are fantastice and extremely service oriented. Besides recommending them here, I have made Jandy very aware of the outstanding value Wet Tech (Jen and Chris) add to the Jandy product. When I forgot how to make one of the adjustments to the heater, Jen had Chris on the phone to me and walked me through making the adjustments....no charge!.. IN 40 YEARS AS A POOL AND SPA OWNER IN CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, ARIZONA AND TEXAS, I HAVE NEVER HAD AS GOOD OF SERVICE AS FROM WET TECH IN AUSTIN. Thanks you, Jen and Chris.
