Wellspring Landscape Services

This was a Big Deal purchase. I hired this same company twice, with two Big Deals, for the same big job: moving landscape rock from my backyard to the front. Both times it was a great experience. The two workers were cheerful and worked hard. They cleaned up after themselves, unlike another landscape company I hired. They both spoke good English too, which is helpful. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

Kirk Slack, owner of Wellspring Landscape Services arrived to provide an estimate as scheduled. He was very personable and professional. He emailed me an estimate the following day with contract information to begin work the following week. The initial lawn service was performed as planned and they have been mowing and edging weekly since the initial date. The yard looks good after every service. In addition to mowing and edging my lawn weekly, Wellspring Lawn Service also trimmed all my trees. They did an excellent job with the tree trimming. NOTE: I called 3 lawn service companies on Angie's List when I was looking for new service. Mr. Slack answered the phone and set a time for an estimate the same week. I never heard back from either of the other companies I called.

It went fine. They were good. They sent two people to help. They worked all around the house.

I have been using this company for about a month now and they always do an excellent job. They are very prompt and the manager is very responsive.

The original work was excellent. The guys showed up right on time and got to work. However, when I recently called to schedule another appointment, the soonest availability on a Saturday was 3 weeks out. Although I really wanted the work done right away, I went ahead and scheduled the appointment as I was so pleased with the prior work. 3 weeks came and went, no call-nothing. I called about a week later and left Kirk a message. No return call. Very disappointed. :-(

Bought a Angie's list deal. Took me a few months to call them but when I did they were easy to book. Two guys came out and did what we needed to be done. Cleaned beds of weeds, dead growth, etc. My husband liked the works so much we paid a bit more to have another few hours done. Need to keep them in mind as we are now too busy to take care of our yard like I would like. Nothing to complain about here. Professional and did a great job.

They did a really good job, and my only problem was that they were cutting my shrub, but brought only one hedge trimmer. They worked really well together, one cleaned up, while the other one trimmed the hedge. They worked pretty hard and they did a good job. They were neat, and cleaned up really good. They would have gotten more done if they brought two trimmers.

Excellent! Will definitely use this provider again.

The service was kind of mixed. It was confusing for them, because I had just put new dirt, which looked like the mulch, and so they only gave me half inch and not a full inch and half, but I can see the confusion. I didn't want to make an issue of it. I may use them again next year, depending on if I put new soil. The people were very friendly, and if I point out where it was low to give more, meant that coming back and examining the whole garden. They said they would come back, but I am just not bothered. They were very cooperative, they even pruned my roses for me. The price was pretty reasonable, and the quality is good.

I called WellSpring after another company failed to return my phone call. They sent me the contract to sign right away, and I sent it back ASAP. After explaining what my front yard looked like they said they would let me know as soon as someone could get out this week. Not but a few hours later I got a call that some of their workers were near by and finished another job early. The same day as I called they went over, mowed, and provided all their other included services, and I drove up to a brand new front yard. They also arranged with me to schedule regular service every 2 weeks. Great people to communicate with and have provide quality service.

I would not hesitate to use them again.

They were okay and did not charge me more than what they had advertised.

My previous lawn care company lacked communication and I believe they may have over charged me on purpose. Their billing policy (which was non-existent) also made it difficult to pay them. I ended up firing them and saw Wellspring listed. Pricing was fair and not too far off of my previous landscape company pricing. I ended up calling Kirk Slack, the owner. One could easily tell that Kirk is a super great guy, who answered the phone within a couple of rings. I was impressed. He told me he would provide a quote and it was delivered in a timely manner (that day). A time was then set to meet with Kirk and we agreed on a date for the service to start. I prepaid my services and he emailed me a paid invoice the very next day. Every time I call he has answers quickly. He was driving once and pulled over to speak with me a few minutes answering all of my questions. Kirk is also taking control over the lawn fertilizer account from another company I hired. Now I have one person to speak with! The guy is really a rockstar. His crew did a great job and the takeover was seamless. Couldn't be happier with the service I received and I highly recommend using Wellspring. Will be using him for all my landscaping and lawn needs in the future.

Wellspring arrived right on time and got to work immediately. They removed two very large rose bushes and trimmed a great deal of vines. They removed the brush and cleaned up all the brush. They were polite and efficient.

It went well. Arrived on time. Kept track of the hours so I got all 16 manhours of work. Cleaned up and left nothing behind.

They trimmed two "out of control" shrubs in the front of the house, as well.

They were fine. They did a perfectly good job and came when we wanted them to.

They came out raked up the yard, trimmed the hedges, general clean up. Kirk sent the crew back to get the other side of the fence (still my yard) cleaned up and picked up the acorns. They did a great job, Kirk wanted to make sure I was satisfied, I was. I will have them come back in the future.

I was very pleased with their attitude, hard work, and with the results. We have an acre that had gotten way out of control and they managed to wrangle it back for me. There is still work to be done because it is a big job, but I plan to call them back on a regular basis now that I've seen what a little regular maintenance can do!

All planted by the time my family arrived for dinner.

There was a quick response to my request for service and a crew was scheduled for an afternoon shortly thereafter. They arrived a little later than promised. There were 3 workers rather than the 2 workers promised, and I went over my wish list with the crew leader. He was very polite and agreeable and thought that they could accomplish most of what I had proposed in the 4 man-hours allowed. The seasonal cleanup that they did was somewhat haphazard and neglected to weed eat the lariope on one side of the pool, and missed a few other minor items. In addition to doing some seasonal cleanup, they planted a small peach tree for me. There was a broken branch on a small tree that I asked them to remove, which they did, but did not have a proper saw on their truck for the job, so it was quite rough. They attempted to transplant a beautyberry bush but did not have the tools needed to complete this task, so it was left in the ground, half dug. I inquired about knocking some twigs off the roof gutters before they did the leaf-blowing, but the crew leader said that they didn't have a ladder with them, so could not do that. There were some dead branches on the ground from a previous pruning project that the crew leader said they could haul off for me, but they were left behind. They ran out of time before trimming a jasmine hedge and weed-eating a slope that the crew leader originally thought that they would be able to complete for me in the time allotted. The crew members were very nice but seemed that they were a bit underequipped and hurried.

The Wellspring people arrived on time and did an excellent job. They were very careful to spread the mulch evenly and cover the area thoroughly. They were very pleasant and easy to deal with.

This company is an absolute Find for us, I could not be happier to have discovered them! Kirk, the owner of Wellspring Landscaping Services is pleasant to deal with, and very responsible about scheduling. His guys AJ and Rudy are prompt, polite, hard working, and very importantly - they know what they are doing and understand what needs to be done and how to do it properly. They are experienced enough to know what plants needed to be cut back due to winter die off, and how much to trim other things that needed to loose only a little bit. AJ was great about checking in with me to make sure were the priorities for the time we had allotted, and they then got straight to it and stayed on it until the clock ran out. And when they drove off, they left our yard extremely tidy, which was such a relief since it looked pretty shaggy before. Two years ago we took up all of the grass front and back yards both, and replaced it with xeriscapic flower beds, paths, new trees, and crushed granite ground cover. It looks great and our water bills are now less than $30/month, but when it comes time for some heavy duty work like weeding, pruning, thinning things out, etc and my husband and I are busy - we had no idea of who to hire for help. All the landscaping services regularly visiting our neighbors are the standard non-communicative guys with mowers and maybe some hedge clippers, ready to mow and quickly hack. Wellspring is exactly what we need - a service with people knowledgeable enough to handle a more complex yard situation, and who we can now bring in by the hour to accomplish what we need when we need it.

Yard looked great after it was serviced, bushes and trees were trimmed without issues. Work was done quickly and efficiently. The only problem was that my appointment for the morning was never entered into their system, so no one showed up at 8 AM when they were scheduled. A quick phone call had a crew there in the afternoon without issue.
