He has been excellent and does a very good job. Even his prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend him. I would definitely hire him again.

We've used them since 2009, approximately every six months. He's always been great. Quality work. We don't have to sign a contract, and the price is the same or lower than others we've talked to. Everything has been fine or I wouldn't have used them again if I wasn't pleased.

We use them approximately twice a year. That's about how often we use them; two to three times a year. They just do a fine job, and Ernest is always easy to work with and does quality work.

Ernest always does a neat and thorough job. I have used him many times. He is prompt, always returns calls and is very efficient. He will treat organically if requested.

Ernest did a great job and I don't hear any critters inside the attic anymore. He guarantees the work for a year, so if I do hear anything, I can call him back and he will deal with the critters for free. Everything went well; it was easy to schedule times for trap checks, etc.

Waterloo arrived at 3:59 (window was 2:00-4:00). They did a very quick inspection of the outside, sealed on gap, then threw a couple of wooden traps randomly around the inside. Took maybe 15 min. Did not listen when I mentioned droppings and hair coming through the vents. Came back a week later and retrieved one live body and one dead one from the traps.Came to check again a few days later - looked in the attic and didn't fetch anything. 2 hours later, we start to smell dead animals. Call and leave three messages over the next 24 hrs. NO response. The switchboard/secretary is quite rude and not very personable. Plus, I get the voicemail the majority of the time and never get a call back. Service guys are nice, but don't really listen or spend a lot of time explaining what to expect. When we called to tell him that there was a TERRIBLE smell emanating from a room, he came to check it out, concluded it was in the air duct (without a lot of inspection), and said that he doesn't do that type of removal. Said we needed to replace the entire air duct, which...after a wild goose chase and much internet research, is actually not necessary. So, in summary: NOT thorough (missed many openings/spots to seal), NOT proactive, don't listen to customers, did NOT resolve issue. Also, caused us to spend more $$ on a specialized pest removal service. These guys try to skate by on the least amount of work possible.

Ernest responded very quickly to our initial request and was able to schedule a site visit quickly. He was efficient and thorough in reviewing what needed to be done. Came back the next work day and got the job done. He called me when finished and updated me on all the specifics of what was done. He followed up again a week later to check on the work he had completed and has one more visit planned. Work includes 1 year warranty and I'm confident Ernest will stand by the warranty.

We had a mild infestation, and 2 of them came out. They first went around and used an insecticide on the nests with a sprayer, and then came around with pole and knocked them all down. The wasps haven't been an issue in over 6 months.

Great. I've used Ernest several times and am always satisfied. He comes promptly, and if it's minor and he doesn't do anything, he doesn't charge. Almost makes me feel guilty!

Ernest was both helpful and pleasant, as well as responsive to my concerns. In addition, he took extra time to remove and later replace hinges from a closet door that would not open. This was an unpaid service. He helped me due to his kindness.

Ernest assured me this would keep the raccoons away for about three months. Definitely contact Ernest to prevent or remove pesty pests or wild animals that have invaded your domain.

Waterloo was great. They came out several times to find out what has having a "party" in our attic, it turned out to be attic rats. We had to have additional work done (tree trimming, roof repair), so we were extremely happy with the price and level of service provided!

Found many bees in my upstairs bath and bedroom. I am very allergic to bees so I called Waterloo and told my situation and the lady immediately got hold of Ernest who called me and said he would come right away. He saw more swarming outside my upstairs window and took steps to discourage them. No one wants to kill honey bees but they do die quickly on their on inside so I appreciate his concern for me and the bees in taking care of the problem.

They may not get back to you right away, but they follow-thru with consistency.

Ernest was responsive, punctual and professional. He scheduled an appointment for assessment the following day and provided us with a reasonable estimate. He returned as scheduled to perform the work. He advised that he would return twice to check the traps in the attic and was punctual in doing so. The first time he returned to check the traps on the third day following the repairs, the squirrels had already attempted to chew through one of the repairs; he reinforced that repair and did not charge extra for doing that. We were well pleased with the work performed and would recommend Ernest for any such work needed.

Ernest did two jobs for me. The second went fine, except he was a day late,and even then 1 hr late. The first job was to get rid of the squirrels in my attic. It seemed like this might have been among his first ten times doing it, even tho he told me he'd done it hundreds of time. A lot more damage was done before he was complete. What really got me, though, was he totally blew me off for two weeks. I called his office, and they say he was out and he'd get in touch with me the next day, and then he didn't. He didn't get in touch with me until I said on a message I intended to give him a bad review on Angie's list. THEN he couldn't have done enough for me. I wouldn't recommend his service.

We had some rodents in the attic. Ernest came out assessed the situation and provided a quote that we agreed to. He noticed that we were having a new roof installed. The first thing he recommended is having the roofers install hardware cloth where ins the ridge vent was being installed. He also recommended that we wait to rodent proof the house until after the roofing job was complete. He said the rodents would not like all the activity on the roof and probably leave on their own. He said he would return a few days after the roofing job was complete. We had originally scheduled the job for Saturday, but he called on Friday and rescheduled because rain was in the forecast which causes a problem working on the roof.. Ernest came on Sunday and installed flashing at all possible entry points on the roof. He also installed hardware cloth in all vents (excluding the dryer.vent). They also set some traps in the attic in case the rodents did not leave. Overall Ernest and the office staff were very professional. They returned the initial call within 2 hours. In both instances that he visited the house he arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. Overall very pleased.

I contacted Waterloo based on Angie's List reviews. We had used ABC Pest & Lawn for almost 20 years at our previous 2 homes. We moved into a rental home while our home was being remodeled. We called ABC and they wanted to charge over $300 for "initial" service to the rental. They could not care less that we were a long time customer. Also, it would take over a week for someone to come out. Found Waterloo on Angie's and called. Ernest was there the next day. He treated the entire rental home including the outside and only charged $90. He then explained that when we exposed all of our plumbing breaks in the slab during remodeling that he could do a total termite prevention treatment. This included treating the slab at the perimeters and screening the areas around the breakthroughs. He said that this is the main entry point for termites. Our home had serious termite damage from the previous tenants so we were interested. I checked with the state board and they said it was a valuable service and worked extremely well if done properly. Ernest wanted $450 to treat our 3400 square foot one story house with 4 bathrooms. We paid ABC that much every year for our annual termite contract which was separate of our regular extermination agreement. I decided to get some other estimates. Every other quote we received was in excess of $1200. Ernest performed the barrier treatment and the screening. He returned to the site once again to inspect prior to the floors being installed. Since then, we called Ernest for an initial treatment and 2 follow ups. We moved back into our home 14 months ago. The initial treatment was about $90. The 2 follow ups were no charge. Ernest only comes when you call him. ABC always needed a regular visit schedule and charged for it. Even then, if you had a special problem like carpenter ants, they charged you additionally. Ernest stands by his work without additional fees. Ernest has always been responsive and on time. He calls prior to coming. He smiles and is very neat and courteous. We will use Waterloo only from now on.

Ernest from Waterloo Pest Management provided excellent service. He removed a wasp nest that had moved in to the wall of our house. He was on time, very professional and incredibly thorough. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing and made sure his work was successful. I would definitely recommend them.
