Three hours late, locked me out of home, case has been opened in small-claims court. [DETAILS] Cleaners arrived three hours after the time I booked. Frustrating that I had to wait around that time but whatever. I had to leave by then, and instructed them in how to lock up. However, the cleaners did not understand or listen to my instructions, and slid my key back under the door, locking me out. I had to pay $260 to call an emergency locksmith to drill my lock and let me back in. Trustworthy's response to me is that the cleaners cannot receive any instructions and all requests must go through the main office. (This is nowhere in their terms of service). Do you really want to bring cleaners into your home whose official position is "we can't listen to you"? The actual work was okay. Despite booking a "deep cleaning" there was still dust on my ceiling fans.

They did a shockingly poor job. Not at all professional. Left scuff marks on freshly painted walls. Did not clean under cabinets saying they are unreachable areas. Corners were still dirty. They didn't care one bit!

I was told that for my initial cleaning it would need to be a deep cleaning because every new client has to start with the deep cleaning. They demanded that I contact them at least 3 times because they kept needing me to confirm. I was told the price range when scheduling. When the cleaners got to my house they contacted the scheduler to say it would be an hour more than the max hours I was quoted. I am neurotic about people coming into my house, I cleaned it prior to them coming over. There was no clutter, beds were made, sink was empty, countertops and stove were clean. I also had a deep cleaning with another company 2 weeks prior. However, they said it would take 2 of them 4 hours to clean my 2000 sq foot house. I refused and said I would not pay for more than 3 hours. The cost: $266 When the team arrived they did not speak a single word of English, I had to use Google translator to talk to them. They didn't even understand the words kitchen or bathroom in English. As soon as I entered my office to work, they turned their music up very loud and started yelling to each other over the music. In the 3 hours the team cleaned the kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms. They did not vacuum, dust, or touch the bedrooms or living room. I had already paid the exorbitant deep cleaning fee so I wanted to take advantage of the follow-up rates. I contacted their team 7 days after my first cleaning to schedule another, no one ever responded. At the 30 day mark I was finally contacted. I said I wanted to do another cleaning using the pricing set for a follow-up clean within 30 days. I was told they would not honor the price because it had been more than 30 days (mind you this was day 31). I had tried to schedule 7 DAYS after my first cleaning, but they never responded. I explained this and was told that the owner would make an "exception" because of the frustration. I scheduled my appointment. I said when scheduling that I would like another team because I couldn't communicate with the first team because they didn't speak a word of English. I spent too much time trying to communicate using a translator on my phone. I am told a bilingual team will be sent. The day of my appointment I never received a text saying when the team would be coming. 25 minutes after the scheduled time I contacted the office and was told they were running late. 1.5 hours later they still were not at my home. Had to reschedule even though I had needed them here that day. I rescheduled for a week later. I am sent a text saying I need to confirm and an email saying I need to verify. I do both. The email verification says that team 6 will be sent, the same team I couldn't communicate with the first cleaning and asked for them not to be sent. I call the office to point this out and am told a different team will come. Day of the rescheduled cleaning I receive a text saying that the team will be at my home between 12:15 - 12:45. The ladies showed up at 11:39. I told them I only wanted a max of 1.5 hours, I received an email to confirm that. I reminded the scheduler, Victoria, about the exception the owner made and I am told that this is not valid because the cleaning is after 30 days, but the owner was kind enough (sarcasm) to make a NEW exception for a different higher rate. I explained all these issues to them after the second cleaning and said I would never use their service again. They sent a follow-up email that didn't acknowlege any of my complaints and asked when I would like to set up my next cleaning. Such an incredibly horrible customer service experience, they lie, don't communicate, and are inefficient. I would never recommend their service to anyone.

We wanted a deep cleaning in preparation for staging and showing our house. We did not get that. When scheduling, I had what I thought was a thorough email exchange. I described what I was looking for and offered to pay for anything that was not included in their "Professional Move Out/In Cleaning" package. We were scheduled and confirmed for noon. They arrived about 12:50. They crew seemed to be working very hard. They ignored my instruction not to make the beds (since we were going to have the house staged, and I was paying by the hour, I wanted them to spend the time on other things). They worked for about 4.5 hours and then one came to get me for a walk through. The rest of the crew was clearly done. They had packed everything up into their vehicle and were sitting in my (wide open) front doorway while I was hurriedly walked through. My first impression was that it looked OK. The furniture was dusted and the dust bunnies left from moving the furniture were gone. However, a closer inspection revealed many things that were unacceptable. Among them: The solution used to clean the wood floors them left them very dull and dirty looking. The fronts of most of the kitchen cabinet doors were dirty – not cleaned at all. The upper doors had oily streaks from a partial attempt. The enameled grates on the cook top were not cleaned. When I asked about it, she indicated that the supplies they had were unable to finish the job. I know they are tough to clean, but it is possible. We have managed to clean them in the past. There were crumbs between the counter top and the stove. The dishwasher was not cleaned at all. There was some paper (maybe a label?) stuck to one of the glass shelves in the refrigerator. I pointed this out, but no offer was made to try and get it off. The outside of the refrigerator and freezer doors, and the vents below the doors were still dirty. We had asked that they clean the freezer, but it was not done. When I mentioned this on the walk through, I was told that there was a misunderstanding but I think they were ready to leave at that point and no offer was made to clean it. The granite counter tops in the kitchen and master bath were wiped down, but definitely not shined. In fact they were dull and felt like there is a chalky film on them. Perhaps the wrong cleaner was used? The windows did not appear to have been cleaned at all. The toilet bowls were not cleaned under the rim. Again, I was told that the stuff they had did not work. They did not clean around the hinges on the toilet in one of the bathrooms. The walls of the tiled shower had not been cleaned. They had not cleaned the inside of the medicine cabinet. It was hastily wiped out with a rag during the walkthrough. No cleaner. Something was dribbled through the kitchen and down the hall to the front door on the way out. I sent an email to the woman that I had originally spoken with and asked them to come back to complete the job. Around 1 the next day I received a text that they were coming by later that afternoon. When I called, the woman I spoke to was very nice and assured me that she was sending a more experienced crew to correct the issues. When they arrived for the second visit, we walked through what I wanted. They kept asking "is that all?" I offered to give a copy of the email where I had listed what I needed to have done, and was told "Oh, I have that." (Then why were you asking what needs to be done?) My husband and I were packing upstairs while the crew worked. I came down to find that the crew had left without saying a word and without having me look at the results of their work. They had not finished. They still did not touch the freezer or the dishwasher, and many other things were left incomplete. There was no follow up contact to see if we were satisfied. The email I sent after the second visit was ignored. We were depending on them to help make the house look great. My husband and I had to finish cleaning ourselves. I know that the crew worked hard, but they were either under trained or under staffed. I am extremely disappointed in the result.

Could not communicate with workers. Left floors sticky and sprayed furniture polish without rubbing it in. Never on time. Stood up my daughter the night before she was scheduled and confirmed for cleaning before a big party. Nice people but they seem to be covering too large of an area. Need at least one member of cleaning crew to speak English. Prices keep fluctuating to my daughter.

I purchased a Livingsocial voucher for this company with the hopes that I'd be pleased and be able to have them come out bi monthly. A few weeks back I scheduled cleaning with the owner by email. I asked if 10am on the 11th would work and was told I was on the schedule for the 11th. No one showed up until 11 and by that time I only had a short time before I had to leave for work. I asked to reschedule since they were over an hour late. The owner told me she could'nt reschedule me and that it was my fault because she never confirmed 10am as a time and that they were like the cable company and would basically show up whenever. If that were the case, an expectation of a window of arrival should have been set from the beginning or a tleast a call or email if they are running late. See the email thread below, this is not a business I'll be supporting in the future. August 17th Me: Sept 11th at 10 will work if it's avail:) Business owner: Ok you are scheduled for September 11th. Sept 11th Me: I had you scheduled at 10 today and no one has been here yet. I need to leave for work at 11:30, can we reschedule or can I get a refund on my voucher cost? Business owner: I have schedule your cleaning for 11.am today . Any services like ATT, Time Warner, fedex, etc they never are on time , because they have many clients at day same is my business. We try to be on time but we can't guarantee that I know your requested at 10am, but we never confirm that time. We are providing cleaning before Sept 15th. Now we are currently full the schedule. Please call living social to get your refund.

I emailed Marisel to schedule an appointment a few weeks after purchasing the voucher. She responded the following business day, offering dates/times for appointments two weeks later (which was within my time frame, as I had guests arriving from out of town a few days later). I selected a date/time 10 days hence, but she never replied to confirm. I followed up via email the evening before the appointed date/time to try and confirm, and received no response. Marisel sent me a text message 90 minutes after the appointment time she had offered (but never confirmed), apologized for not responding to my email, and said that she could get a crew out at 3pm that afternoon, an offer I accepted. The crew showed up at 3:45pm, and proceeded to do a sub-par job (e.g, didn't clean the glass door to the shower in the master bedroom - basic!). In my original request, I'd asked for an estimate for regular (i.e., every two weeks) cleaning, but never received an answer. All for the best, I'd say, since I would never use this service again.

Terrible! Poor Quality, Poor Communications, Three hours late for appointment with no call. Stood on kitchen counter tops with their shoes, hid dirt under mats, left furniture way out of place, very rough on expensive furniture, cleaning rushed and very sub par.

The lack of consistency in service delivery and punctuality are a big problem. I think the girls were given a schedule, and they do what they can during that time frame. We also got into a debate about the number of bathrooms in my house. I like to support Marisel's business, but she needs to deliver a consistent product.
Description of Work: I hired Marisel and asked for quote for deep cleaning a 4200sq ft house. She sent a crew of 3 and they were prompt, but the price went up after the cleaning. They said that I have 6 bathrooms, but in fact I have 4 bathrooms- 2 of bathrooms with dual sinks. I had asked for someone who can speak English, but that only happened twice..Other two times, no English. I had them do the entire house 2 times and just downstairs 2 times. I found the service level to have gone down after the first time, they were late and they only perform surface cleaning..cobwebs on the bottom of the dining room chairs and buffet was overlooked- in spite of asking Marisel to instruct her staff to clean the cobwebs as my Chem Free agent told me that they need to vacuum them as soon as they appear. The top of the refrigerator was not clean, and I found dust on the bedside lamps. I also found pieces of a broken light bulb at the exact spot where I asked them to vacuum.

The original estimate to clean a 1/2 a duplex was $80. I took Marisel through the duplex and explained exactly what I needed cleaned, which included the walls, since they were very dirty. She said OK and she and her partner began to clean. About 15 minutes into the job, she came to me and said that it was more work than she thought and she would have to charge $120. I said OK. After about 2 hours and 45 minutes, she had to leave quickly to do something. While she was gone, the other worker started packing up her supplies and when she came back they loaded up the car with their supplies. I went into the duplex to see if they were finished and they hadn't even started to clean the walls. I told them that they hadn't finished the job and Marisel insisted that they had worked for 3 hours and they were done. Apparently she forgot to tell me that they charge by the hour, $20/hour for each one of them. I paid what I thought their job was worth, which was $50.

This incident happened 2007. A very bad experience with a person who took advantage of us. I was cleaning this very dirty and nasty duplex. Clean walls ? It was impossible because that walls were dirty from top to bottom. I used all the bottles of cleaners I had for clean this place. Two ladies spend almost three hours cleaning there and SHE PAID US $50 !! . I almost cried for see this kind of people .... so UNFAIR. I learned with that experience.
