+ -1 moreKEPT MY LAMP FOR A YEAR. NEVER FIXED IT!!! I took my favorite standing lamp to Tipler's to get the base and shade fixed. They moved locations and LOST MY LAMP! When it was finally found, there was no base, no shade and after A YEAR I demanded it back. I got back a rod. Yes, a rod. It looks like I can celebrate Festivus. WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS EVER AGAIN!!!

+ 0 moreAll good. Took the lamp in on Friday morning and they called me Saturday morning to tell me the job was done. The bolt/nut they used matches the lamp perfectly. The price was very reasonable, and I am completely pleased with the experience. I recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Replaced a decorative screw in the arm of an adjustable floor lamp by drilling a hole through the lamp and inserting a decorative bolt and nut.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job and the chandelier is perfect. It did take them quite some time - over 6 weeks. But the quality was excellent and the price was more reasonable that some of the other shops I took it too. They also had a lot more confidence in their ability to fix the chandelier.
Description of Work: Tipler's rebuilt an antique chandelier that was very damaged during shipping.

+ 0 moreI bought two 300 watt holgen bulds and they tighten the socket on one of my lamps. The also replace the on/off switch on one of my lamps for free. I needed three lamps repaired, they repaired two of them while I waited and the third had to be left at the store.
Description of Work: I bought two 300 watt halogen bulbs ($20) and they tighten the socket on one of one of my lamps ($10.00). Total bill + bill = $32.48 They also replace the on/off switch on one of my lamps for free. I needed three lamps repaired, they repaired two of them while I waited and the third had to be dropped off.
