As I stated above, we knew going into the remodeling of the house there could be some major plumbing issues to follow the leveling of the foundation. The first plumber left me with the impression that he saw this as an opportunity to just make up charges as we went. I decided very quickly (after the first 4 hours) that I needed to make a change so I dismissed that plumber and contacted Ted. I explained the frustrations that I had with the first contractor and Ted came out to the project and gave me more information in the first 20 minutes than I was able to glean from Plumber No.1 in the two or three days I had been in contact with him. Additionally, Ted either answered the phone when I called him or called me back within a few minutes EVERY time. Together we developed a systematic plan of how to find the problems and what would have to be done when we found them. He gave me firm quotes for each segment of work and he honored the prices (even in some cases where there was some additional work/problems encountered) which was a pleasant surprise after my first encounters with Plumber No. 1. Overall the project stretched into almost 2 weeks of work but Ted and his crews stuck in there and stayed responsive throughout. Very good responsiveness, systematic approach to a difficult project and very good communications from start to finish. Since the initial portion of work I encountered an additional problem (which was unrelated to the first scope of work) and I called Ted. He squeezed me in between two other calls that he already had scheduled and fixed the problem within a couple of hours of my phone call. All around great service and very easy to work with. I recommend them very highly and will use them in all my future plumbing needs.

This was no big deal for Thunderbird. They approached this problem in a systematic, professional manner. Jeff showed up promptly and proceeded to get measurements which he called in to his partner Ted waiting at the water heater dealer. This saved time and ensured they brought the appropriate water heater. The fit was extremely tight as mentioned, plus they ad to consider the size of the attic opening. They were obviously experienced in a situation where there were numerous opportunities for failure. The price was not cheap, but it was fair given the circumstances. Overall, I give Them an A! Highly recommended!

Initial intent for the call was to get a bid on replacing the main sewer line, which per city inspection had a defect. While he was here, I mentioned the toilet in the main bathroom was draining oddly, and the toilet in the guest bath was draining really, really slowly. He looked at both, and did augering to clear anything that might be blocking the line. Ultimately went with another company for the sewer line replacement due to price and timing, but I would contact Thunderbird in the future if needed. I recommended them to neighbors who had a blocked garbage disposal.

He offered two solutions (one (more expensive) that would definitely resolve the issue, and another (inexpensive) that might have resolved it, at least for a temporary basis), and I chose the definite solution. His explanations were clear, and I did not feel, as I have with other plumbing services, pushed to choose the more expensive option. I was very pleased with Thunderbird's service.

Jeff and his assistant(s) are always great - knowledgeable, prompt, punctual, skilled, and not expensive. They have fixed our water heater when it was on its last legs, installed a new one later on, and handled various other plumbing needs. Jeff (the owner) is as bright as they come and really good at his job. He is able to explain what is wrong, what is needed, what is the simplest/best/most sensible fix given the circumstances. Thunderbird is an outstanding company - we rely on them and never worry about plumbing problems. We rent our home and are so glad our landlord always calls Thunderbird when we report a problem. We know there will not be any delays, false start and then the need to find/try another provider, etc.

Plumber was a little late, but called ahead of time to inform me of delay. Did excellent job of repair and then at my request checked out our water heater.

When we moved into our new home and had the gas company had found two small leaks that they said would need to be repaired before the gas cooktop and furnace would be usable. We called Thunderbird Plumbing and they were able to come out the following day. Once at the house he was able to quickly diagnose the problems and repair the gas leaks. Also, our home inspector pointed out a leak or area of discoloration on the water line for our water heater, which he was able to fix as well. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to others.

I called Thunderbird Plumbing for a quick consultation about a sewer line issue during my foundation repair. They scheduled and arrived promptly, and wrote up bids for a couple of possible solutions. They also advised that the best option was to leave it alone, although obviously this was not in their own business interest. Finally they did a minor plumbing repair inside the house for free while they were onsite. Highly recommended.

They did an excellent service and provided a very fair price. They also responded in a very timely manner.

I like their quick response, their professionalism and their fair price. The job they did was very tricky and they probably should have charged us more. They do outstanding work. I would give them an A+.

Our overall experience was great. Jeff and Ted, of Thunderbird Plumbing, were both very polite and professional. I initially contacted them, based on some referrals and Angie's list, to schedule a FREE estimate for the work needing to be performed. Jeff scheduled the appointment, showed up on time, crawled around under our house for a comprehensive inspection, and gave us a written estimate on the spot. We corresponded back and forth, via email a few times, and Jeff was happy to thoroughly answer my questions. After acceptance of their bid, they worked closely with our foundation contractor to ensure minimal inconvenience for us. The day of the job, they were punctual, clean, and did superb work. They addressed all of our concerns before, during, and after the job was complete. In summary, they exceeded our expectations. Finally, I feel important to mention, Thunderbird is a small company. When it comes to the day of the job, you will get 2 very qualified and professional plumbers (Jeff and Ted). No random crews or sub-contractors here.

They were prompt. Helped me understand the issues. I did not use them because the quote was going to be just as much as the new gas dryer that I was looking at buying. I opted for the electric version instead. I liked the service tech giving the quote. Will use in the future.

Very satisfied. He had to do a little extra work but didn't raise the price quoted for re-seating 2 toilets. One of the bolts was rusted and had to be cut off. He also replaced both shut off valves and hoses and the flapper in one of the toilets.

The service man that came out was very processional, polite, and he called in advance to let me know he was coming.
