THE TILE GUY

At first when I ordered the tile I was given one price and promised that a receipt would be e-mailed. When I called again, that price had changed and was higher. I never received the promised receipt until I went by personally. Also the tile was promised in 3 days and when I called they confirmed that it would be in their warehouse the next day by 4:30. When I went by the store I was told it would be another week or ten days. When I explained that my contractor was at my house, they did call around and got the tile I needed that day. Even personally went to pick it up and bring it to the store so I would have it. So this story has a good ending and I greatly appreciate the Tile Guy making sure I got the tile. I e-mailed the Tile Guy with my pictures and told him what I wanted. He explained the options and when I went to the store, he gave me samples to take home. I then completed the transaction over the phone and picked up my new tiles a few days later. He even recommended an installer. Great experience all around. Simple and painless.

We were renovating our two bathrooms and kitchen. After visiting Home Depot and Lowes, we found that The Tile Guy had a much larger selection and a good price. The quality is also better than the big box stores. The shop is a bit crowded and the store is a bit hectic, but it is well worth it. The tiles were delivered quickly and they helped me load my car. Very happy with my experience at the Tile Guy.

I went to the Tile Guy to get tiles for my kitchen backsplash. They were VERY thorough and made sure I got everything I needed and even suggested things I hadn't thought about. They gave me names to 2-3 installers. Overall the process was pretty easy. Sure, it's a bit more involved than going to a all-in-one solution, but I felt I got a better deal by getting my own tile (with a large selection), and then having a separate quote for installation. I plan to do this again in a few years when I want to tile my kitchen.

It was fine and no problem at all. They did good work.

Years ago, I first visited the Tile Guy and they were kind enough to help me select some tile for a laundry room floor, give me some instructions for how to do it, and lend me a tile cutter. Since then, I have bought many batches of tile from them for other larger jobs that involved a professional installer. For this most recent job, I got a very bad idea to save a little bit of money and tried to buy the tile for a project from Home Depot. The price was slightly better. But I wasn't knowledgeable enough to get all the right stuff, and the store did not carry all the trim pieces I needed. The salespeople tried to help, but their knowledge and time was limited. So I returned to the Tile Guy with a new sense of appreciation. Barry asked lots of questions about my project, helped me select the best tile and grout for my taste and the situation, and told me everything I needed to know to be sure the job is done properly. Yes, I paid a little more for the tile, but the experience reminded me that the staff at the Tile Guy had the knowledge and attitude that would insure I would be happy with my new bathroom. They did a super job.

They were very helpful and friendly. One of the recommendations did come out and do the work. He did also call us later to see if he could help us further.

Reconstructed my shower floor and replaced tile. He came to my house on the weekend to repair my shower. I was having guests this next week and he went out of his way to help me out without charging extra. His professional, friendly attitude and excellent work was a plus. He made one old lady a happy woman. Can't get any better than this. The work was flawless. I will certainly use him again.

We looked around at several places and Barry at the Tile Guy was by far the most enthusiastic person to help us. Barry went out of his way to make sure that we saw all of the options he knew about. He let us take tiles with us to compare and place in the rooms. He also sent us to manufacturers websites so that we could see more options for accent tiles. We were really impressed with how helpful he was to us. We could not recommend the Tile Guy more.

I have bought tile from them before in years past. I just recently needed to match a tile no longer made, and they came up with the solution to blend a sightly different new tile with the old one by finding the right accent tile. You can't beat their prices for the tile they carry.

I only purchased materials from Tile Guy and they are great quality and still in my home in great condition 16 years later.

They work amazingly fast. They do not waste any tile. Their pricing is excellent, their bid is the lowest I got.

They don't do installation though so you need to find a good installer. We went with a recommendation from The Tile Guy and it was not the smoothest experience. The floors turned out nice though.

They were timely and they worked around our schedule. It was a brand new home that they came out and worked on. When we asked them if they could come during a particular time, they worked around with the other workers and our schedule. They were very flexible and they came very willing to work with our scheduling. They were very prompt. They didn't hurry but they did everything in a very timely manner. It's all holding up great.

They had great prices and are esy to work with. Our contracotor at first a skeptic is now abelivever. great selection and price. Also give good advice, They helped us pick each material out and sent us home with plenty of samples. They were responsible about ordering and it was ready when contractor needed the material.

They were very good. They did the job well and they were pretty quick. I would use them again.

The experience was good. It was excellent service. The installer was great. They had a good price on the tile. The installer was an independent contractor and his service was outstanding.

Super impressed with the customer service at this store. I had visited several other tile stores in town, and no one came close to being as helpful as John McFarland was here. I was looking for a very specific tile size, shape, and color, and John was able to point out the tiles he had that met my description instantly. I was able to take them home, show them to my husband, and test them out in our lighting. When the tile I liked the most turned out not to be labeled, the Tile Guy did the detective work to figure out who made it - and in the process found an essentially identical tile that was actually cheaper than the tile I liked. Sold! When my new found first choice tile didn't come in a smaller size for the tub surround, John was able to find a near-perfect match just off the top of his head. Super impressive, very happy. John was more than willing to talk to me about all sorts of amateur tiling questions, and offered plenty of advice on our bathroom remodel in general. He also sold us Duk liners to create niches in our shower - let me take the various sizes home to try them out before purchasing. Can't say enough how much the staff at the Tile Guy made me a happy customer. Will definitely be coming back here when we're ready to remodel our master bath!

I tried to do a patch job after replacing two shower faucets with one in separate areas. I did not have the correct tools to cut the tile, so I bid the job out. Facing a couple of days without a shower, I was concerned about timing. I had the materials, so the Tile Guy agreed to help me out during off-hours. The job only took him 2 hours, and he did a terrific job. I will reward his flexibility when we finish the remodel in the kitchen. Thanks, Tile Guy.

They were really great. There wasn't any sort of commission or any more complication and that was really nice. It was by far away the cheapest parts that we found. The workers were wonderful.

I spent about $400. My interaction with them went very well. I had to special order some tiles and they got it in. They were very easy to work with. They were very polite. I didn't have any problems. They also had some things in stock that I couldn't find anywhere else. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

We visited the store 3 times trying to pick out tile for a kitchen. The sales staff was very helpful and patient. They helped us with trying out design patterns, different tiles etc. They were not pushy at all, and made the process easy. They also were able to recommend a contractor to do the installation. The contractor's work was acceptable.

We are waiting for our delivery of flooring while we put in new plumbing fixtures. We are doing the work ourselves.

They have a great selection and I was able to find just the right tile for both rooms.

The company provided natural stone at a competitive price and a better quality than some of the other flooring supply places. When we ran out of liner trying to finish our floor just before Christmas; we left a message with their phone service about this problem, and the owner called us back right away. He met us at the store which was closed for the holidays, and we were able to purchase more liner. This was above and beyond the call of duty!
