These guys did a great job moving a baby grand piano for me from one house to another about a mile apart from one another. Scheduling was a breeze. Same week availability. They arrived on time and got right to work. Start to finish was about 30 minutes. Very nice and knowledgeable guys. Highly recommended!

I needed to move an upright piano from one to another in my one level home. Since there were no steps and a short distance to move it, my husband and I attempted to purchase sliders to move it. That did not work as a very short movement made scratches on our stone floor, then deciding to call a professional. I called several moving places and was shocked at the high costs to move a piano this short distance. Then I called Piano Wranglers that offered a fair price and could do the job soon. Piano Wranglers were on time, by the minute, friendly, professional, and moved this piano with ease. Within 5 minutes the job was done and they provided sliders that will allow me to move the piano to dust and to have tuned easily. Very pleased with their service.

These guys remind me of MASH (the movie) where Trapper and Hawkeye show up and announce "We're the pros from Dover, and we've come to operate." I called several regular movers and they wouldn't touch a 2nd-floor piano. Jason and his partner (sorry, forgot his name) got here right on time, surveyed the situation, brought in their gear...I then had to go to the phone...and when I got back the piano was going on the trailer. No drama, no excitement, no noise, and best of all no damage. Just what they advertised. I watched them strap it down in the trailer, and they made it look like they do it all the time. And of course they do. If you want a piano moved with peace of mind, no damage, and best of all no injuries...these are your guys.

After quickly getting a competitive quote from them via email, I decided to go with Piano Wrangler for moving a baby grand piano I purchased from a private residence in Avery Ranch. The day of the move, the movers called and told me they could actually show up 15 minutes early if I wanted, and I happily accepted. Within 15 minutes they had the piano broken down and packed up in the truck (I was impressed). After arriving at my house they reassembled the piano just as quickly, and in the process noticed possible mold spores on the bottom of the piano which they offered to vacuum up for me even though that wasn't even part of their job. Finally at checkout, they told me they had overestimated the distance to my house and knocked off $25 from the final price. This process was a completely first class experience throughout, and I would highly recommend these guys to anyone moving a piano.

This was a perfect experience. I can't believe it went so well. I made all of the arrangements with Jason by e-mail and phone. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. I e-mailed Jason on Wednesday, spoke with him on Thursday and he moved the piano on Sunday. When he and his co-worker arrived they did not look like professionals, no sign on the truck, no uniforms, etc. When they started to move the piano I knew they definitely were professional piano movers. They worked quickly and very carefully all the while being very curteous. The piano arrived safely and in record time. The person receiving the piano was extremely impressed with the movers professionalism and curteousness. Jason provided cups to put under the rollers of the piano as well as felt to put under the bench legs. The piano was put on a hardwood floor. It gets even better. I had picked out two companies to call from Angies List that appealed to me after reading many of the reviews. The first company quoted a price over twice as much as Jason's bid and then said that was with the discount. That company had a discount coupon you can print but I had not mentioned the coupon. I wish I had better words to describe how pleased both the sender and receiver are over this move. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Piano Wrangler to anyone.

I contacted a number of movers to get prices, their price was competitive and the scheduler was courteous. They arrived on time and were able to maneuver our piano in a very tight area really quickly. I was surprised at how they managed it but they made it look nearly effortless. Nothing banged or dinged, excellent work

We had used the Piano Wrangler several times and were entirely satisfied. However, before the latest move, we found that the original owner had passed away. The company was now owned by one of the people the previous owner had trained, but we were uncertain whether the same high quality would remain. After some investigation, we decided to use them for this move. It was the right decision. Jason (the new owner) and his helper were excellent in all respects. They were prompt and efficient. They have a system for moving pianos that is really great. We were very pleased and highly recommend this piano mover. To save some money, we delayed the move for about six weeks because Jason had another piano to move to our area and offered a substantial reduction to move both at the same time, so the price quoted above might be less than otherwise expected.

We had made an appointment for the piano to be moved later in the week, but the day after I talked to them, I got a call saying, if I could let them move the piano that morning, they'd cut the price significantly, because they were already in my area. Since I have a fairly elastic schedule, I said come ahead, and they did. Extremely professional, the piano was out of the bedroom and in the living area in about ten minutes from the time of their arrival. I was thoroughly satisfied with their work and much more than satisfied with the price reduction!

Their response was excellent. They came out and looked at the job and it was bigger than they expected and they performed quite well. I was very satisfied with the work. The company that delivered the couch couldn't get it up the stairs. They came out when they said they would and they got it up without damage and maintained the quote, it wasn't an easy task. I'm not that easy, these guys were good.

Scheduling was very easy. The scheduler is a very pleasant gentleman. They asked me some questions about the location of the piano, the delivery destination, and the number of stairs involved in the move. They quoted me a price---very reasonable. The delivered our Steinway in perfect condition. Gordon Crail also is an inventor, and much of his equipment is made by him. He makes moving a grand piano look easy!
Description of Work: Over the past 2 years (2008-2010) Gordon Crail has moved 2 of our 7-ft Steinway grand pianos 3 times. I am a piano teacher and I always recommend "The Piano Wrangler" to my students.

The appointment scheduler was friendly and helpful. He contacted the crew quickly and let me know asap when they could come. He was able to fit us in for the moving job. Gordon, lead piano mover, and Nick ,his assistant, were very professional. Our piano is 100 years old. We did not want to roll it. Gordon was a true professional in this area- he had all the equipment ready and knew exactly how to disassemble the piano with care. He packed it carefully and wrapped it so it would be protected during the floor installation. Nick , his assistant, demonstrated professionalism in handling our very old piano. They were very careful and did not hurry through the process. When Nick returned to re-assemble the piano, again he was a master at carefully re-assembling and setting up the piano. The men were also very careful and methodical in moving the electronics and the desk from upstairs. Nick also provided sliders for the wheels of the piano so our new wood floors would not get scratched. He helped put protective material on the bottom of the large wooden desk, the large tv and the tv stand so our floors would not get scratched. I felt like they really cared about our piano and our home. REALLY AN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE.The Piano Wrangler is on my permanent list of service providers. ( A previous moving company said they could move this piano before and they damaged it! I will always get a piano moving specialist like The Piano Wrangler .
