Never Again! I've used them before but this time, they left unsealed cuts on my oak trees and didn't return my call complaining about it. Now I'll have to deal with Oak wilt and sue them for whatever dies. Run in the other direction from this company!

They didn’t damage the house. They were a little bit pricy. They cleaned up.

They did good work. It went well. The price was reasonable. The whole process is subjective. I was not dissatisfied with them.

It was fine. It turned out to be no charge because the electric company came and removed the tree.

They did a perfect job, absolutely wonderful.

We will probably keep using them. They do the same thing every year.

Derek came out and told me exactly what it would cost which was more reasonable than I had expected. He also walked my property (4.5 acres) and inspected my trees for any problems. He was friendly and very professional. Scheduled the removal and sent 3 experienced arborists who did the work in a little over an hour. They also cut the logs into pieces I could move and left me a nice pile of mulch. It would have taken me at least a day and was more dangerous than I was able to do myself. I will use and recommend Davey Tree Service to anyone and will call them again.

Excellent! Absolutely excellent- I would not use anybody else's services other than theirs. We like the fact that they don't leave trash and limbs around for you to take care of- they take everything away as they go. I like the way they communicate and they way they come prior to the work and actually do a contract -it is very clear what they are doing, how many people they are bringing and date they are coming. I am just very pleased with their work- I couldn't think of a bad thing to say about their company. They charged different amounts depending on what they were doing and every time, it was reasonable. I have dealt with them for over 20 years and have never had a problem with them once. The people are very professional and you feel like they are safe. It is important when you have someone climbing a 75 foot tree, it is important that they be safe- they use every safety precaution and the people are well trained on how to be safe. That is very important to me too- you don't want somebody getting hurt around your house. They have always come exactly when they said they were coming and they are very good at making estimates on how long they will be there. When there is a need for them to lock the gate when leaving, they always do. They are absolutely professional in every way.

They have done great work for me about 20years now. They come pretty promptly. They do good work. They are neat. They clean up after themselves. You don't have to call them back, they do it right first time. They are top notch.

We love them. There is a particular arborist that always comes around. He seems to be very knowledgeable and he has given us some good advice over the years. We are very happy with them. They have very good people in this area. The arborist who covers this area is exceptionally fine. He is a nice guy. They are helping us fight the "oak wilt" disease.

Jeff and his team arrived promptly, trimmed the two oaks and picked up all the trimmings and leaves. I was very impressed with how they trimmed the large Live Oak that hangs over the pool. Pool was as clean after their work as before they started.

David and his crew were prompt. After a brief conversation with his crew leader, David left and the crew stayed behind and started the work. That having been said, I have the following feedback about the experience: On this day, the company brought in a contracted worker with them to do the work on my property. This worker was impolite and when introduced to me at the beginning, he couldn't shake my hand because he was eating Cheetos and his hands were covered in food. Gross! When I checked on the workers in the backyard, I noticed this same worker lying next to my half-empty pool while the others worked on the trees. He appeared to be lounging every time I checked on the crew. I didn't care for this worker being on my property and when and if I hire Davey again, I hope that whomever they choose to bring to a customers home, all of the workers will conduct themselves professionally. The price was okay, but I feel that they could have done more for the money I paid. The quote I received from David wasn't complete. Later, I discovered that the quote did not include tax. So, I had to send additional money. This could have been done better. David was a bit condescending when I asked questions and spoke to me with a bit of sarcasm. This may just be his manner of communication and its a god thing that I have a sense of humor. Otherwise, his communication alone could have cost them my business. In the end, I gave the crew leader a cash tip to share between the crew members and he appeared to be thankful. The overall experience could have been better, but it was just good.

The take a lot of time and care and the trees look great. We have recommended Davey Tree to several friends and neighbors and they have all been pleased. Will definitely continue to use Davey Tree.

They are certified arborists. They are excellent. We will definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job. Their pricing was competitive and so far we haven't found any fault with their service. I would recommend them to anyone, especially for bigger jobs.

They arrived on the scheduled date to perform all of the tree pruning and completed it while hauling all of the brush away. They had to come back for the fertilization and insect control but I believe they told us this ahead of time. Overall, we are very pleased with the service they provided. Our trees look great and are out of the way of the house and all power lines while still providing us with lots of great shade. Also, we were concerned about a sycamore in the back yard that has lost some branches over the last year. We were assured that we did not have to cut it down as we thought we might. They cleared away any branches with no growth so that they wouldn't fall off and cause any damage. We are glad to know that this tree is stable and nothing to worry about.

This is the 3rd year that I have used Davey Tree Co. Arborist Tom Chaky came to my home and looked at my trees,listened to what I wanted done and offered helpful tips. We set a date and time for the following week. The crew showed up 20 minutes early, prepped their gear and were working on time. Two of the 3 man crew have been to my house before and they work very well together. They cleaned up as they moved from the front to the rear of the house. When the job was done the crew foreman went over everything with me and did a few extra branches I had not noticed before. One of my Ash trees is over 35 years old and is slowly on it's way out and I intend to have Davey Tree Co. take it down when it's time. They were prompt, offered a free estimate after visiting 2 times. The job was very difficult because they had to climb very tall live oak trees. They were very efficient and left not even one piece of debris. They are very professional and I would recommend them 100%.

Tree trimmers were courteous - did good work, removed all debris and branches before they left..

We spent about $ 1800 on that service. They did a really good job. They employees that interacted with us were great and they did everything they were supposed to do. They were pleasant, flexible and seemed interested in doing a good job.

I spent $1500 on the job. The arborist came out and he was very well trained and very intelligent. He knew exactly what to do. We had an understanding. I was confident in his work. Then, he went away and sent a crew, in which none of them spoke English. They did the tree trimming and they didn?t spray them. I wasn?t pleased with them. They were sloppy. They were a good company, but they didn?t do a good job. I think they need their supervisor to come check their work immediately upon completion. They were experts and were knowledgeable. They are the best in town if you are talking to the arborist. However, I think the crew needs some quality control. It would be nice if somebody in the crew could speak English. They have lots of city contracts and they advertise in a big way. They are the big boys in town. There are smaller, lesser known companies that do good work. Their price is comparable; they have high prices. I will use them again in the future, but I will watch them like a hawk.

I had a hard time finding a tree company that would do estimates outside of normal 9-5 weekday business hours. Tom came, spent 15-20 minutes advising me on what work should be done, then 5 minutes preparing his estimate, which was $390. I expected it to be 300-400, so I thought that was a decent price. He mentioned part of that was a trip charge. When I called to make the work appointment, I asked if we could reduce the trip charge by waiting until a day they were already scheduled to be in the area. Tom got this message and called me to say they could take $90 off the bid. On the scheduled day, they came right on time, 3 guys in a logo'ed pickup towing a huge branch mulching machine. The mulcher had the Davey logo on it as well, and was painted the same color as the truck. Very impressive for a landscape company. Tom also was there to tell them what to do. Tom left, but two of the guys spoke English and asked me a couple times if I wanted certain branches cut back more from the house. They were very polite. A very good experience, although the guys did leave a couple moss balls that I thought they should have removed. I would definitely use them again.

Job went quickly and fairly smooth. A couple of misunderstandings as we have a lot of trees and it got confusing. My advice is to mark the trees yourself and take your own notes and give copy to manage to ensure you get what you think you are paying for. There are probably cheaper companies in town, but this one is very good at what they do and are insured. A man in my mom's neighborhood died falling from a tall tree he was trying to trim. I would not cut corners in hiring this kind of work. I called around and talked to a lot of people and one local nursery recommended Davey. They are an established reputable company.

The work was done well. It cost a bit more than I had expected, but I guess certified arborists aren't cheap. I will use them again in the future.
