 + -1 moreWe needed architectural drawings of our 3500 s.f. home in order to plan a remodeling project. Francis created unbelievably detailed and accurate plans for us. He spent about 3 days in our home measuring every wall, ceiling height, window, doorway, stair and every other detail. He created two drawings for us - one of the floor plan and another showing all of the electric outlets, ceiling fans, etc. The drawings are beautiful . He was prompt, professional and a really nice guy! I would recommend his company to anyone in need of similar services.
Description of Work: TexDraft created detailed "as-built" drawings of our 40+ year old home.

 + -1 moreI am so glad that I did this. The drawings are great and they are to scale. The can be sent right to architects for us to start a dialogue about what I can build. The drawings also place the significant trees and outbuildings so I can see what would be too tight to alter. Francis was great to work with and explained everything in the drawings. I initially did this process to help me gather information but it also gives me more confidence when talking to builders. I feel more prepared and ready.
Description of Work: Texdraft does detailed measurements and drawings of buildings. I was referred to Texdraft by a design company because I'm trying to figure out if I can put an addition on to my little house in town. So I contacted Francis to do a set of drawings of my current house and a site plan with elevations. I can now take this when I talk to builders and designers to get better estimates from them on what I can build and better cost figures. The drawings included room heights, wall thicknesses, door and window swing, bathroom fixtures, elevations, window placement, driveway and sidewalks, porches....all the things a builder/architect like to know. Now I don't have to rely on a builder's on-site staff maybe cutting corners to get things measured.
