You can best judge the character of a company when problems occur. We had problems. .Alex and crew began staining our one very large and three small decks the day before the September 2018 rains began. For a month and a half we had no more than 3 days without rain. The stains simply did not adhere to the decks. It was tacky for weeks and peeled off at the slightest scrape, even while sweeping it. What to do? The right thing to do would be to sand off all the newly painted surfaces and re-stain them. And that is exactly what Tex-Paint did. Not only did they professionally finish the job, but they honored their original, and very reasonable, price estimate as well, despite the extra work. As our work drug on for months, delayed by rain, we got to know these folks. Working with Steve, George and Alex was a pleasure indeed. Honorable in a difficult situation, they kept us informed, and listened as we expressed a desire to have it done right over having it done quickly. It is the kind of company I like to do business with and I will certainly call them again when my home need repainting.

Thank you to Tex Painting for helping me on such short notice. I have used them for a full interior paint once, and their painter for a day services for another property. Both turned out great! They helped me expedite both jobs. The prep work and continued communication are what make them the choice to make. They keep up the good work, and I will keep sending more.

Joel came out to do an estimate. He spoke to us at length about the prep-work they would be doing. Specifically saying that the first day or two there would be no painting, as they would be spending that time cleaning and prepping the walls, filling cracks and holes, and texturing the walls. He offered a fair price, and after several other estimates we felt the services being offered were the best value at the price. Day one came and there was none of the promised prep work done, and painting started a mere hour after the crew arrived. Our project manager was here for maybe 5 minutes and did little to actually manage the project. Through out the days work became sloppier and the painters were less careful with our property. On the last day, a new painter arrived with the woman who had been there the previous days and neither spoke English. That wouldn't be a problem, however the main crew member who had been translating did not show up until past noon. The work was terrible that day, we ended up with paint on the carpet, our blinds, our brand new granite countertop and bedding. They did not paint the top of the door frames, assuming no one would actually look at them, and splattered paint all over shelves and windowsills that are normally out of view. I messaged Joel about these issues and was told it was unacceptable and he would get to the bottom of it. When Chris came to do the final walkthrough he acted as if he did not know what problems needed to be addressed, and showed no concern saying simply "we can fix that, we can fix that, etc". We attempted to show that even the blinds were not taken down and essentially we were called liars by the crew and him. While "fixing" the problems, the crew spoke about us in Spanish, laughing about our complaints not knowing I understood every word. When they were confronted about that, the took great lengths to again say we were wrong. At the end we were pressured over and over to say that we were happy with the job. Eventually I said yes just to get them out of our house. My wife refused to capitulate and said nothing. Tonight, one of the light fixtures they actually removed fell down in the kitchen, shattering and scratching our brand new kitchen faucet and stainless steel sink. My wife, attempting to adjust a curtain rod they had got paint on, removed one of the blinds. Proving that they lied about taking all of them down and putting them in a pile to paint the window frames, they was old white paint underneath. We now have a paint job we are unhappy with, painters who we do not feel comfortable coming back into our house, bedding that needs to be replaced, and scratched kitchen faucet and sink that makes me want to cry with frustration as it was a brand new remodel. Would I recommend them again? Not on your life.

We are very happy with the work done, and this wasn't an easy job. The wall and trim colors being painted over were quite bold and the guys did a great job covering with our new (much lighter!) colors. Very happy with the quality of work but cleanup was a bit rushed/could have used a little more attention to detail. It was easy to schedule an estimate with the office, Damon came out as promised and completed the bid. Not all work was captured, so an edit was needed and that was done promptly as well. What had originally been said to be a one day job, possibly two, did turn into a three day job, but Miguel was very communicative about needing more time, and flexible about scheduling when to return.

Did an exceptional job! Replaced wood trim and any places requiring new wood. Painting was done with great care. They showed up when they said they would be here and they cleaned up after themselves every day. The communication between Art, the Painters and the Project Manager was excellent. IF any one of these guys found anything not covered in our contract, they talked to us to decide the next step. They offered their suggestions and discussed the options. The price was reasonable and all the guys were very professional. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a great company to do work on your home, or business :-)

Joel assured us that his team was professional and would do a great job. His word was true. The job was completed when he said it would be. The painters did an awesome job.

Joel, George, Chris and their crews were great. Very easy to work with, flexible, extremely responsive, and uncompromising integrity. 110% trustworthy, I gave them the house key and was not there most of the time. The workmanship was excellent, they are true craftsmen. The jobs were completed on time. They are very helpful and expert at recommending colors and finishes if you want assistance, and they leave the decisions to you. No pressure at all. The prices were reasonable and I received fair value. I recommend them without reservation for any painting work, large or small.

Tex Painting was a joy to work with. They were very nice and accommodating over the phone, and they scheduled us quickly and arrived when they said they would. They followed up with a very detailed estimate in short order. That said, their estimate, though not the lowest or the highest we received, was more than we expected and we decided to put the job off for some time.

I called and set up an appointment for someone to come by the next day to do the estimate. The woman I spoke with on the phone followed up with an email confirming the appointment. 15 minutes after the man was supposed to show up, I got a call from him. He said he was across town and he should've called a while ago and he was on his way and he'd make sure we got "a really good deal." He showed up 30 minutes later, so 45 minutes late for the appointment, and we talked about what I wanted the quote for and he took some photos and said he'd email the quote later that day because he was running late for his next appointment. I didn't get the quote that day, so the next day I called the company and asked for them to send it (I was trying to get the job done quickly). They said they'd try to get in touch with him and gave me his cell phone number so that I could try to get a hold of him myself. After a couple hours, I called his cell. He didn't answer and the mailbox was full. I called the company to let them know what the situation was and they managed to get in touch with him because I got the quote about 30 minutes later. Needless to say it was not "a really good deal." Due to that and his lateness on two separate occasions, I didn't want to continue working with Tex. Frustrated and disappointed. I went to a fair amount of effort to even get a quote because of their good ratings on this site. I probably won't be making that mistake again.

Price was a bit high, but not unreasonable. I decided to hire based on ratings posted here and elsewhere online. Very happy with the end product. Job looks great and the yard and jobsite were cleaned up each day and end of job. I felt well informed and they were responsive to my questions. Couple of the guys looked a little rough, but they are exterior painters...

Fantastic. Estimator and project manager were both very responsive. Team lead and PM were efficient and flexible. The quality of the work and the speed at which it was accomplished were extremely impressive

They were great. The house looks brand new. They let me pick the colors at Sherwin Williams. They were on schedule and worked late many days to stay on schedule. They did a good job scraping off the old cracked paint, repairing the trim and repainting. At the final walkthrough they had me point out anything that needed touched up and did it all without complaint. They cleaned up everything so that it looked like they were not even there. I would recommend their work to anyone.

Went great. After a two month long nightmare from an insurance claim we were finally got hooked up with the perfect painters! Many thanks to the project manager, Carlos Pedro, and his sidekick, Elvis. Highly experienced and did an impeccable job. These guys have a strong work ethic and are eager to please We felt comfortable with them in our home and enjoyed spending some time visiting with them during their break. They even finished early. Oh, and Carlos even offered to bring us some breakfast before they got here. Thanks to Carlos and Elvis. We give them A ++

It went great. The entire crew was conscientious. You could tell they were serious about their work and attention to detail. They were very careful with our home furnishings and were respectful to me and my wife.

The experience was excellent! Dan met with us on the first day to go over the specifics of what we wanted done, and what color needed to go where. We were still unsure about how best to treat the color changes around our front door, and Dan had great advice and the result looks fantastic. The crew was very respectful (no music), punctual, and cleaned up as they went along and left the worksite each day with the paint buckets in a neat pile and all of the trash gone. At the end of the job, the workers had us do a walk around to look for any spots they missed, and there were only a few minor ones. They were eager to make sure we were pleased with the outcome, and we certainly are. The house looks fantastic, the work quality is very high, and the cost was very reasonable. These are honest and dependable people and I would not hesitate to hire Tex Painting again and highly recommend them!
