Tex Painting delivered on an exceptional interior and exterior paint job. The work performed was done in a timely manner for a fair price. During the estimate we explained the prep work was super important to us- The crew chief did a nightly recap to keep us abreast of the work being completed. The before and after pictures look great. We will definitely reach out to Tex Painting for some of our other rental properties.

From the first phone call though the final walk through everyone that we worked with was a pleasure. The crew were very tidy and kept the job site clean, were always on time and did an excellent job. The Project manager that we worked with who gave us the estimate and managed the painting crew was very professional and very detail oriented. We will be using Tex Painting again in the future!

From start to finish the communication was second to none. The bid was delivered in a timely manner. The crew showed up on time as promised. The jobsite was kept super clean. The price never changed. The quality of prep work was spot on.

We were given Tex paintings name from our flooring people and now I know why. They did a great job and better yet I trusted them and their work. Barry gave us the estimate and was very knowledgable. Scott, the owner, met us the first day of work and was very responsive. Lupe was our foreman and he was amazing. Lupe worked so hard and so meticulously. The preparation and clean up were very thorough, and they took there time to make the new drywall and repaired dry wall blended with the old. You could tell he takes great pride in his work and therefore in my house, which i really appreciated. There was one small imperfection in the whole job and lupe came by and touched that up today. I will be calling them again when we paint the outside

Showed up on time every day, worked well past 8 hours every day. Had a wonderful attitude, very cheerful and highly skilled.They all knew what they were doing from prep work, painting, wood work. Excellent.My house has a lot of trim all of it peeling. There are 4-two story colums, two covered porched on front of house and wood siding with a very high gable on each end. The crew scrapped and prepped for paint; calked all nail heads and all seams. They Primed all trim and exposed wood than painted whole house on porch floors.

We are very impressed with the company. They rates are alot cheaper than other companies we looked into. The crew speaks very good English. We are happy with them. They are very hard workers, worked until after dark.

Horrible. We were promised that the crew would be direct employees of the company. They were subcontractors. Not that I have a problem with subs - I have a problem with being lied to. The crew varied each day, and two of the crew members told us this was the first paint job they had ever done - not just professionally - the first painting they had ever done in their lives. The crew taped drop clothes to our floor which destroyed the finish. One of the crew members dented our refrigerator door (stainless steel, so they had to have given it a good whack). Cut-in lines look like I did them (I have Parkinson's so none of my lines are straight). And areas were missed or underpainted in almost every room. Our initial paint was the wrong color. Tex Paint had ordered it to our instruction but the color was completely wrong when it came in. Rather than take care of the problem for me, I had to do the return myself. At the paint store (national chain paint specialty store), the staff sighed when I told them it was a TexPaint job. They asked which crew and said that the crew we had was notorious for mistakes and rework. When the crew ran low on paint, they did not mix the new batch with the old, or ordered a wrong shade, because we have two distinct hues on our walls. And NONE of the touch-up paint they left matches anything. The touch-up wall, ceiling, and trim paints all three are off color. The ONLY positive part of the experience was getting them off my property and paying a slightly discounted rate due to my extreme dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any job.

They came and worked through the job. They got the job done. I would absolutely use them in the future.

The gentleman who came by home was about 45-60 minutes late. He didn’t call beforehand because he said they hadn’t written my phone number down correctly. However, we are listed in the phonebook. Also, their estimate was about $1,000.00 higher compared to another bid we received. The owner of Tex Painting offered to match the lower bid, but haggling really isn’t my style.

We were happy with their work. Their price was competitive.

Owner, young guy who is good with sales and prices are low. Quality of work is medicocre. I should have used Southern Painting. Their rep is stellar and they were only about $600 higher. Would have been worth it.

Wanted house painted in the interior and wanted a fair price. Tex painting gave us a bid and exceeded all expectations They will be called again. Great work,, great price.

They were great. The painting work still looks wonderful. I spent around $2700 on the job. I think the owner was very concerned that everything had to be done right. He and I walked around once the job was done. He and the others did an excellent job. They selected good paint. It still looks great two years later. I am very happy with them and I will definitely use them again.

Barry Beckman provided me with the estimate for the job and was very prompt and responsive at all times. Scott Miller, the owner, was involved at the beginning of the job and checked it after it was finished. Both were a pleasure to work with, as well as the painters who did the job.

They were - by far - the least expensive estimate, but we should have been suspicious when the didn't talk to us during the estimate process - just dropped it at the front door. The problems we encountered weren't with the actual people who came out to paint, but their supervision and contact person. What was supposed to be a 2-3 day job ended up taking three weeks, due to the supervisor disappearing frequently. The first day seemed promising - three people arrived to wash and scrape the house - after that it was just one person - then no one - with no communication from the front office. We communicated paint colors four times - twice by email, once by phone, and once in person - to the supervisor who couldn't seem to actually remember what we had asked for from one conversation to the next (and our windows were painted the wrong color as a result). I would give the preparation (washing and scraping) a B, but there was no attention to protecting plants and landscape. I suspect our yard will be filled with paint chips for the next year. The preparation and painting took about 2 weeks, but during the final day of painting - they broke one of our windows and it took a week to get that repaired. Overall - good price - but poor supervision - perhaps if we had directed the painters every step, it would have been better, but that is why we hired someone else to do this job. Furthermore, it often seemed that our job was unimportant to the company and my time was not respected. Our contact person continually promised to meet us to look at the job or discuss problems, and then would not show up (we received emails proclaiming "I'll see you at 8 AM tomorrow - then an email at 3 the next day with a story of unspecified problems) -- this happened at least 3 times. The Tex Painting contract promises daily clean ups and walk-arounds, "eco-friendly" practices and to protect all plants and shield the property from overspray --- none of this happened. Did I mention that their bid was very reasonable???

The painting quality was very good and very reasonable in price. The only complaints I have about the painting was that it took a couple of extra trips to get the imperfections sorted out, but the responsiveness to these requests was good. The end result of the painting was very good in my estimation and the workers were attentive to on the fly issues that arose during the job. The problem I have is with the deck staining that I had done. The stain is already starting to come off in significant areas and I was told this could not be addressed based on the service I paid for and that these are traffic areas that nothing can prevent this from occurring. I have a problem with this because prior to the service being performed, a couple of other people noted that I might need my decks sanded to prepare them to take the stain to prevent the problem I am experiencing. I was advised by Scott (the owner) that this would not be necessary by Tex and here I am now. Subsequent to my stain job my general contractor for other repairs I am having done immediately said that my problem was that the deck needed to be properly prepared before applying the stain (either by sanding or by a solvent treatment - both same cost). My stain job was pretty inexpensive compared to other quotes, but it appears that I got what I paid for. In the end I feel that if I had been told what would really be necessary to keep the stain looking good, I would have been better informed as to the relative costs involved for the different levels of quality. I am now left with the possibility of having to pay again - and more - for a thorough job if I want the decks to look great.

Contacted the painters on a referral from Zip Realty, who found us the house. The painters set up the dates for start and finish. Came in when scheduled after the initial color decisions, but they didn't write down exactly what we wanted. We came in on the 2nd (out of 3 days) of painting and found that they didn't paint the accent wall the colors we had told them. After a few phone calls, they did change the colors and redo them. On the day of the walkthrough, we were happy for the most part. A few things we found that needed to be retouched: baseboards (which they did most of the retouching, but left us extra paint in case we found some spots), excess paint on certain spots (which they cleaned). The also removed the switch panels prior to painting but apparently lost 2 screws for one of the panels. Overall, still happy with things, as doing the paint ourselves would have taken far too long.

Painted over a fair amount of peeling paint, poor prep. Painted the windows shut. Did come back to repaint where I pointed out, open windows. But didn't repair window they broke.

The crew started the job on a Tuesday morning and completed the job by 4:00 pm Friday. Tex Painting did a great job.

Barry came out and did the estimate. He spent time explaining the work and helped us pick out colors. The painters were very prompt and they worked very fast. They power washed, caulked, replaced rotten wood and then painted the outside. Inside they painted all walls including bathrooms that had been wallpapered. They also painted my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. They did an excellent job. They were very professional and dependable.

They were responsive to what I asked them to do beyond the job.

They were very professional and gave us a really good quote. They come highly recommended and they showed it with their quote. They seem to be very knowledgeable.

It went pretty well working with them. They were able to do the job quickly. They did a decent job of cleaning up when they were done with the work. This was the first time I had used their services.

Eric made many promises that were not kept. He told us he had a very experienced crew which turned out not to be true. The three days he promised to finish the job turned into five. When the work was finished it was totally unacceptable then it took a week to get him back out. He did bring a different painter (at my insistence) but I'm still finding spots where the original stained trim shows through the paint. Also, I found an area under the bathroom cabinets that was primed but never painted. Eric came across as very professional but we were extremely disappointed in our experience with his painting crew. He did knock off $200 dollars at our insistence but that did not make up for the shoddy work and the hassles.
