When I called the number on the invoice, the young lady at first was not listening to the facts that I cancelled, received no service, and no person appeared that day from their company. After asking to speak to a manager, she says that a person did come and leave a reschedule form ( which was untrue!!!). She finally agreed to send me an email stating that we don't owe them 259.00. Now, we will wait and see if that really happens. Whatever you do----no matter how good the price they offer for the window cleaning DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
Description of Work: Nothing! I cancelled less than an hour after my husband agreed to the special. When I cancelled I explained it was due to the reviews on Angie's list. I thought everything was fine until this afternoon, May 20, 2014 when I received a past due collection bill from them for 259.00.

Granted our windows were dirty and being on a well, our water was hard. The sales pitch on the phone offered to clean all our windows regardless of how many or how big for a set rate. We jumped on the deal. They arrived later than promised and because it was July in central Texas the windows were very hot and since most of our large windows face west this made the issue of cleaning them that much harder. We tipped very well for the first service and were told that due to the heat of the afternoon sun he would have to come back to do the front windows (western facing). After a couple weeks we called to find out when they would come back as we had not heard from them. The same guy (Jason) came back and since it was a repeat he was not getting paid by his company to come back. Even though we specifically told them he had to come early in the day he still showed up late in the day. We tipped him well again. We had to call and have him come again due to the streaks, this time we didn't tip. The windows still weren't clean, but at this point we gave up. Jason, who did the service, was very nice and courteous, but I wouldn't use this company again for the simple fact that all they were supposed to do was clean the windows and they never actually got clean.
Description of Work: Cleaned interior and exterior of all windows on house.

I looked into your account and the notes state your feedback to be true and accurate. I do apologize on behalf of Spotless USA for the experience you had in the past. Spotless USA was a fairly new company at the time you had given us an opportunity to service your home. When I took this over I was aware of the unfortunate decisions made by past management. There is nothing I can do to change what happened when we serviced you in the past. Since I have taken over all the technicians were replaced, I work closely with the technicians in each of the cities, working with the technicians has given me insight on a serious issue as far as distance. What happened to you was very common before because past management would have these technicians driving from Dripping Springs to Georgetown, on a daily. Technicians were worn out and I had to do something about it because if a technician is given jobs in the same area it will be worth it for them to drive out. Besides paying attention to our technicians my most important task is to make customer service everyone at our company priority. I understand we cannot make everyone happy, the staff you dealt with in 2012 is not the same staff in 2014. You made it perfectly clear you would not use us again, I respect that. I would offer to you to become a secret shopper for our company, there would be no charge to have us service you, but I would give you a list of things that should happen during the service and all I ask is to contact me afterwards and give me honest feedback on your experience. It would be a way we could redeem ourselves for your experience as well as hopefully starting over with you with a clean slate. I would love to hear from you if you are interested. While cleaning windows all of my screens were damaged. One of there techs came took pictures and verified that all the screens were damaged. Sent in quotes at their request, more than once. Made numerous phone calls and no response. Guess I am stuck paying $900.00 for new screens. All this for $180.00 window cleaning. What a joke. Beware! Ken

[Removed member name], I have researched our system for any notes on this incident. The most I found was [Removed member information] was serviced October 10th, 2013. As far as a 900 dollar bill avoided by our company, unacceptable. I also do not show we have ever serviced you or the address you listed. We have serviced someone on your street before, now please do not take what I am writing as any kind of insult, that is not my intentions. I do want to help you resolve this issue if it is in fact a past issue of our company sir. They were good and fast. I cannot think of anything against them. I thought the window price was fantastic, if I remember correctly, I paid $80 additional for the gutters and I thought that was over, considering how little gutters I have. They were good for what they were scheduled for. The gutters were overpriced.
Description of Work: Spotless Windows cleaned my inside and outside windows and cleaned out my gutters. The price was for the windows only. If I remember correctly it was an additional $80 for my gutters.
