They found how and where the mice and rats were getting into my AC closet, place two bait stations outside my home and made suggestions on how to keep my pests from returning. I followed their advice for blocking the entrance way into my house and haven't found any evidence of any other intruders. We have found several dead mice and rats outside since then and my dogs find the ones I miss. I'm changing my pest control company when my next quarterly service is due.
Description of Work: I had rats & mice in the bottom of my air conditioner closet as evidenced by their droppings. The pest service I have been using placed a couple of traps there and sure enough caught a rat and mouse the first evening. They would not put out any bait boxes outside the house. There was no follow up from who I had been using, I guess they assumed I would be fine with removing the AC intake register everyday to check and dispose of any mice and rats caught in the traps. No response from a message left on their voice mail. Sovereign Pest Control had coupon for rat and mice control so I gave them a call.

I was able to schedule for the day and time I wanted, they sent a reminder ahead of time, and the technician arrived promptly and was professional. All in all good experience. Assuming the spray is effective, I will use Sovereign again.

+ -1 moreKnow that this does not kill other bugs. It sent some tree roaches into our house -yuck. So you might want to coordinate inside pest spaying at the same time. It also did nothing to reduce the large population of flys outside. But it is only about Mosquitos. Also the spray on your yard is something you need to keep pets off of for a couple of hours.
Description of Work: They sprayed our yard for Mosquitos. I was/am skeptical that this would work since we have a body of water by our home, but it did seem to stop the little blood suckers.

+ -1 moreAlthough the description of the service said that someone would inspect the area for potential breeding areas of mosquitoes, they didn't do that (or at least they didn't tell me anything). They only sprayed the yard and surrounding brush with some chemical and left. The treatment didn't make any difference at all. Wasted money. On top of that, we received a bill for the services although everything was paid for via Angie's List. The website link for paying online didn't work either.

+ -1 moreThe service person arrived on time and performed the service as contracted. The treatment appears to be effective. Since the service was performed just last week, we do not yet know how long-lasting the effectiveness will be. If our mosquito problem appears to be controlled for the summer, we would certainly use this company again. My only quibble is that the service person did not latch the gate so that our tortoise could not get out, as I had requested.

I just wish the treatment worked better. My yard is still very mosquito-y. I was hoping that maybe it would just take a little while (larva cycle? or something) but this treatment was no match for the bugs at my place.

The technician arrived on time and took time to explain what the treatment would accomplish for us and made sure we understood all safety aspects of the treatment.
