SOUTHERN PAINTING

It was very good. It wasn't cheap, but I guess it was fair.

Went very well. Promptly arrived and completed job in desired timeframe. Cleaned up after job completed each day. Only problem was they did not seal off the room enough from rest of the house and some dust traveled to other rooms. Otherwise, excellent end result.

They were fantastic. We have used them before and they sent a responsible crew. They do great work and clean up after themselves. We would use them again and have had no issues since the service was provided.

Excellent service, high quality work, and beautiful finished product! Very professional experience with Jason (manager), Felipe (onsite manager), and crew. Detailed work, straight lines, excellent coverage and final finish. Jason ensures satisfaction with work with excellent oversight. This was an A+ experience compared with an F with Jane's Painting. Southern Painting did an outstanding job painting our entire 4,000 sf home. Every wall, ceiling, door, baseboard and trim was painted, and they did a beautiful job. Jason came out to give our estimate and was very helpful to us in choosing the right paint colors. Felipe was our Foreman and he went above and beyond to accommodate our every decision, including changing colors last minute. He also returned after we moved in our home to touch up a few bumps and bruises from the move. The entire crew was respectful and good about cleaning up at the end of each day. We were so pleased w/the outcome. I would absolutely use Southern Painting again and I highly recommend them.

They have done some work for me before and we will be using them again. This was a big job when we moved in to the home and they worked for a couple of days. Their onsite supervisor is great. He is respectful and thorough. He also makes sure the crew is doing everything that I have asked. They are also very responsive.

Great finished product and Shane was a pleasure to work with. He was committed to making sure that I was happy with the service.

This is the third time I have used Southern Painting. Everytime they are punctual, professional and act responsibly. Shane Davenport has been my contact/project manager. They have done great work for me.

Part of what I wanted done was to remove the popcorn from the ceiling. After I mentioned this, the guy started arguing that I didn't need it. He was not very professional and seemed bored. As he was leaving, he asked me if it was worth it for him to give me an estimate. How unprofessional can you be? When I received the estimate, it did not clearly show the work that I wanted done and was obviously done hastily. These guys are a joke. Don't even bother with them. You wouldn't want to "waste" their time.

I was amazed at what an outstanding job these guys did. When I saw my kitchen cabinets and how good they looked, it brought me to tears. The quality of their work was excellent, as well as their professionalism. The entire interior of my home was repainted and I must say, this was the best paint job I have ever seen. These guys were meticulous which was evident by the finished product. From the first time we met Shane and then Joe and the other painters, we felt at ease and assured that they would do an outstanding job. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and plan on using them for other projects that arise. Unfortunately, I have to downgrade this company. Their service after the sale is non-existant. We found some spots that had not been processed as we were promised, and some spots that we needed patched, painted etc. We called Shane to get this taken care of and he assured us he would get someone out to our house to take care of things for us. This never happened. Every time we called, we got the run-around. In addition, they never returned our house key to us. We kept asking for this, to no avail, again we got excuses; we cant find it; we put the key in the mail, etc. But, alas, no key, nor any offers to pay the locksmith to re-key our locks since they have a key. So, while they do good work up front, they dont follow up on anything, so stay away from this company.

They came when they said they were going to. They returned my phone call. I had called 2 other painting companies who did not even return my phone call so that's a big plus to start with. They did a really good job cleaning up. I asked them to check other parts of the trim that I couldn't reach from the ground to cast and that I couldn't see very well. They found a couple of other spots that needed work but I didn't feel like that they were out looking for spots to add extra work. There were a couple of places that they suggested a lower cost alternative and I appreciated that as well. The work that they did was better. There was one section that they said they couldn't guarantee with the final result would be because I had to bend back the drip edge and it was better than I expected. I thought their pricing was good and fair. They are a good choice.

Love, love, love these guys!!! Hired Southern Painting based off of my neighbors recommendation and holy cow were they right! I'm very picky and things need to be done right and Rob and his crew were amazing. I have a stucco exterior home and they painted the entire exterior, patio railing, stained my wood shutters and front door, they even stained my front porch bench as well as a few other things on the list. This was a 5 day job and the crew were timely, neat, paid attention to detail and cleaned up after themselves each day. Anything that needed extra attention was made sure to be done and anything that needed extra work the crew happily went back over it. I've already recommended them to a colleague and eagerly wait to recommend them to anyone else I know who needs painting. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for! I know because I tried another painting company a few years ago to paint my patio railing and they were terrible. Don't go w/ the cheapest! Go w/ the best, call Southern Painting!

We've waited for a couple of weeks, so now will look for other service providers. I guess Southern doesn't need our business. The drag is that we had hoped to get work done before miserable summer hear (out of concern for people who work outside).

It went very well. They were very professional and the supervisor came by each day to check the work. I have had two other painters paint our interior walls in the past, so I know the difference between a bad job and a good one. This was a good one. The paint actually adheres to the wall when lightly scraped. I would definitely hire them again.

The guy who came out was very likable, great and has decent price. The problem occurred for touch up and a ceiling painting job that had an oil leak in the attic that they did not do correctly. They have to remove a piece of the sheeetrock and replace it the oil had sipped. They didn't cut it large enough so we had a big oil spot and they flat-out said that they weren't going to come back because they head out twice and they weren't coming back and I wasn't happy. The first time I had them back was there were issues around the house, they didn't get under here, didn't do the bottom of the garage door and glaring kinds of things they didn't do. The problem with them was, I guess, there were 8 guys painting and working at the same time and they were very noisy, very party-like, there were a lot of activities going on. The lead guy and the owner's personalities changed drastically in the process. I expect that they would go around and check the spots that they missed and ceiling spot was the final blow for me. He was a nice guy when we started out, I really like the guy, he was great, was very personable,professionally dressed, prompt with the bid because it came out right away, got to work pretty fast and apparently there were a lot of work. The price was competitive.

If every thing that is done on a Home Improvement Project, you know what the Company you are using can do when things are easy. It is only when something doesn't go perfectly well, and something needs to be address, that you find out what kind of company you are dealing with. Southern Painting does outstanding work, but if there are things that need to be addressed, they do not shy away from it They address whatever it is that needs to be addressed in a timely fashion and they work very hard to satisfy their client. I was never disappointed in the work they did for me.

These guys are terrific. They worked quickly and carefully, did a beautiful job. Felipe, the foreman, is terrific, easy to work wth, very pleasant and responsive to my requests. They arrived right on time, completed the work in the specified time, and left things in perfect order. The workmen are very skilled at what they do. In painting the woodwork, they did not use tape; yet there was not a single mistake or drip. On the front door, I thought we would have to just paint over the mess I made with it, but they were able to sand it down, neutralize, and restain it so that it looks really beautiful. I highly recommend them.

Shane was very responsive in getting us an estimate on the project. The guys did a great job on staining the deck. We would definitely go back to Southern Painting for future projects.

Jason took my phone call and scheduled an appointment with me rather quickly. When he came to the house he was very professional and courteous at all times (definitely customer service friendly!). I explained to him what needed to be done and he took measurements and explained in full detail and step by step what will be done. He also provided me with a booklet on what to expect and how to prepare for the services provided. I had contacted two previous contractors and one actually wanted to charge my almost triple of what Jason quoted. The other company was good as well and I had a hard time deciding which one to go with but eventually chose Southern Painting due to their long outstanding history and their obvious attention to detail to my needs. They showed up first thing in the morning as promised with a six person team and commenced on working on this project immediately and with efficiency. The first day was all patch and repair work. On the second day a two person team showed up early and had the entire three areas painted (two coats) in 8 hours. Their Crew member Victor showed up and helped them finish the final details of the project. They cleaned up the premises on both days and actually put the furniture back where it belonged. I received a follow up phone call from Jason the following day to ensure that we were happy with their service. I told him not only were we satisfied with their service but that we will definitely use them for further painting/drywall projects down the road. I highly recommend Southern Painting to anyone having a difficult time selecting a painting service. They're highly efficient, reliable, affordable, and most important of all their outstanding customer service and attention to detail!!! Jason, Victor, and Southern Painting ROCKS! :)

They were timely and answered all of our questions. We had them out 3 times to address all our questions and concerns. They were always wiling to come out again. Each time they were patient and extremely helpful. They even recommended a different paint company based on our specific color (something that probably cost them money that was not passed on to us). They did the work in a timely manner. it looks great.

We were extremely impressed with the service, professionalism, and quality of work from start to finish. Shane was responsive and quoted the best price. He understood our hurry to get moved in to our new home before Christmas and was able to work with our tight time frame. Felipe and his crew finished in less time than they originally estimated and did a great job. We highly recommend Southern Painting.

We have used Southern painting several times over the last 10 years and have always had good results. We requested a quote on exterior painting. Shane promptly provided the information needed to make the decision. They took care of color matching the paint (though I would have chosen a slightly different tint) and used a high quality Sherwin Williams product. Shane did not try to upsell me on ultra premium paint, pointing out that calking typically fails before paint in the Texas heat. The job was performed in a timely fashion, including power washing and appropriate prep. While we did have a few items that needed to be addressed from a punch list perspective, Shane committed to resolving any and all issues to our satisfaction. We will use Southern Painting for future painting needs.

Southern Painting did an excellent job. They were very punctual, professional and did the job quickly, but did it well. Shane (The GC on the job) knew a lot about paint and suggested we forgo a latex based paint and instead stick to a stain for our cedar siding. We were a little sceptical at first but the result was beautiful! The quote we recieved at the beginning of the job was what we paid; there were no hidden/"unexpected" costs that I know can come up with other contractors. I would definitely recommend them to friends (actually I already have given 2 friends-who ended up using them- their contact info) and will also use them again in the future.
