The crew arrived on time took great care to protect our flooring and furniture and were very polite and professional. They did an excellent job and transformed our dining room and master bedroom. Shane checked in during the day to make sure all was going well And the crew finished the job on time. We have hired Southern Painting in the past for exterior house painting and they have always done excellent work. Shane and Rob are both very professional and a joy to work with. Several neighbors have also hired them multiple times and we always recommend them to new neighbors and friends.

Everything went very well. Starting from getting a quote, meeting the contact person, getting samples of color palette, the actual painting job, cleaning of my premises after the job, and submitting post-job survey, everything was very professional and they did an excellent painting job for the exterior of my home. I found them little bit pricy as compared to other quotes, but looking to the job they have done, I may hire them again in the future. Good work!

It went well. Phil came out for an estimate and arrived on time. Once the work started, the painters showed up on time and worked the entire day. At the end of the day they cleaned up nicely and put all their tools in one place in a neat and orderly fashion. As I occassionaly checked to see how the work was going, the painters were fine with me watching and the texture guy was really proud of the work he did. The results were spectacular and exceeded my expectations. Having those ceiling removed made our house look 15 years newer. One thing that really struck me about these guys is the fact they treated our house with respect. 95% of the work was done while we were not home. Each day when I arrived to the house, the doors and windows were locked and again they tools and supplies were nicely stored for the next days start. I was pleasantly surprised with their professionalism. When the job was complete, Phil and I did a final walkthrough to addess any outstanding issues. There weren't any. Only after that walkthrough was payment collected.

I really enjoyed my experience working with Southern Painting North Austin. They provided me with the lowest estimate of the three companies I looked at, and they were the only ones who offered to match the ceiling texture with the wall texture. Phil, our project manager, was very nice and easy to get a hold of. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful with suggestions for paint colors. He was also flexible with the schedule when we decided at the last minute to change the lighting in the kitchen, which delayed their ceiling work in that room. I understand our project was a little more complicated than normal due to staining on the sheet rock and some humidity issues during the painting process, so it took a day and a half longer than scheduled. But it was worth it because the results were excellent. I was very impressed with their work, particularly the drywall and texturing. At the end of project walk-through, I noticed a few spots where the ceiling paint had dripped a bit on the wall and they came out and fixed it on the same day. Even better, they guarantee their work for three years and told me if I saw any more spots, they'd be happy to come and touch-up. The only criticism I can possibly think of is that the crew was an hour late the first day of the project due to a miscommunication, for which Phil apologized for. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of their work and it was a pleasure working with them. Our house looks updated and fresh and I have received compliments from friends and family who saw the house before and after the popcorn removal. I highly recommend Southern Painting North Austin!

They did pretty good. My wife was very happy so I was too. They did what they said they would do. We checked several people and their pricing was good. They came and did it on time. I couldn't say anything bad about them. They did a good job.

They were prompt and responsive throughout the entire process. We discussed paint colors and brands that were the best fit for out house. They showed an incredible knowledge of the paint brands and what be best for us (we have a particularly dark house so fading is an issue). They painted on time and followed all requests. There was a small issue with the door paint which they came out and redid.

It went wonderfully. He did an amazing job. He had an eye for detail when it came to his work. He provided all the answers to all the questions we had. He was efficient with his time but did not rush through anything. I have received many compliments on the work he has done.

The estimate came on time and was accurate about the price. the painting team also came on time and finished as scheduled. The lead of the team was responsible to order the painting and watcched the work closely. They are really seriouse about their work. We are happy about their work.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Price was competitive. Quality as top notch. Able to schedule the job quickly and get it done in the allotted frame. We had one small thing we wanted them to change and they corrected it quickly.

Jeff, Phil and the crew were very helpful, courteous and professional throughout this whole process. My original estimate was to paint the interior of the whole house, except one room. Jeff took my color choices and changes in stride, understood what I wanted, and explained the differences in the brands as well as the sheens available. I received the original quote within 24 hours and it was to my exact specifications. After obtaining other quotes and some delays on my part, I contacted Jeff and he picked up where we left off. He was very accomodating in changing the quote 3 times until I decided upon the colors and the exact rooms. I believe the pricing was fair based on the magnitude of the job. I met Phil and the crew when they started the work. I was impressed with how thorough they were, from moving my furniture, taping and covering the surfaces that weren't to be painted, to fixing the nail pops and foundation cracks, all before beginning to paint. They had no trouble matching my color choices and finished the 5 rooms that in a 2- story house in 1 day (the original estimate was for 2 days!).

Southern Painting's representative sent out to develop my quote was very friendly and knowledgeable, but did not follow up. After 3 business days of not receiving the quote, I emailed him to ask him to resend it, giving him the benefit of the doubt that he already had and I just had not received it. He replied that he would and then did not attach the quote to the reply, nor did I receive a followup email with the quote.

They are good. They are reliable. It’s a very good company. They started on time and finished on time. They were high on price but I don’t mind paying for something like that. The quality was good. I would use them in the future.

From bid to completion, Southern Painting was an absolute pleasure to work with. Phil, Jeff, and the rest of the Southern Painting team were prompt and professional. Prices were exceptionally reasonable. The paint crew was clean, friendly, and FAST. Their workmanship was flawless, and they took great care to check in with us to ensure they were meeting our expectations. I am exceptionally hard to please when it comes to painting contractors. SOUTHERN PAINTING exceeded my expectations in every regard and has earned a customer for life. Use them, you will not regret it.

I paid for Southern Painting to paint the exterior of my home and repair some wood in the patio area. Overall its been over one year and the paint is holding up fine but I wasn't happy with the following during the course of the job and after: 1) Before the paint team starts the actual painting, they first pressure wash the house then come back the next day to apply caulk on areas of the house that needs it then finally paint. I had to point out some spots on the house where the paint team (crew of five I believe) completely missed some spots that needed caulking. I didn't expect this from a company who supposedly done many a paint job in Austin. 2) The brush strokes on my rear door were really noticeable and when I asked the the crew members to look into it they shrugged it off. After escalating to their PM (Phil), he and the foreman came out to my house the next day to attempt a repaint of the door again which came out alright. What was frustrating for me about this whole experience was that the foreman kept repeating that someone painted the door already and that was why the the brush strokes were still noticeable a second time. OK - then what am I paying SP for? To paint it over and call it a day? 3) A couple of days after I paid my bills, I noticed a couple of windows had areas where it hadn't been caulked (old caulk cracks still visible). I contacted the PM for help and after two weeks of no response, reached out to his manager for help and he prompted took care of it. It makes you wonder about how customers are treated by the PM after the money has been paid.

They were reasonable. They were excellent in getting back to me.

The repairs done by Mike were expertly done on time and we are completely satisfied with Mike's work. The painting and additional work was done with exceptional attention to detail, The paint and repair material was top-quality. We are completely satisfied with the work. I highly recommend Mike Supulski, Jeff Stec and the Southern Painting crew.

My husband and I invited Phil Walsh to our home to assess the cost of painting a large living room (with a vaulted ceiling) and the adjoining foyer. He made several good suggestions: He pointed out that since we eventually wanted the wallpaper removed in the kitchen and its walls texgtured and painted, we could save money by having it done at the same time. And he noticed the lack of texturing in the foyer and volunteered to include that work, as well. He quoted a reasonable price and had the means on hand to write up a contract and set a date. In the interim my husband and I decided we wanted wallpaper removed from a small bath, and Mr. Walsh was able to work that project into the plans (for a fee, of course). The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and did not spill a drop of paint. They were courteous at all times. We are very pleased with the results.

We are very satisfied with the service they provided. We made the call to Southern Painting, and had someone come out to give us a bid on what we wanted done. Out of the three bids we had done, theirs was the most thorough and professional. The bid itself was specific on what was to be done. The only thing that changed from the quote given, to the final cost, was some extra rotted wood that was discovered and needed to be replaced. They also said that no payment up from was required, until the work was completed. They power washed our house on two days before beginning the needed repairs, caulking and priming. These were completed on the first day, and the painting of the house was completed on the second day. They came out la few days later to take care of a few touch-ups that were needed on the newly installed shutters. They were both professional and courteous.

They did a great job. They came out when they said they were going to come. They finished the work on time. Their price was very reasonable and wasn’t the cheapest but they weren’t the most expensive. They did a very thorough job. Everything was good about them. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

The person who came out to do the estimate from Southern Painting Company was very professional. He was very punctual. He was very responsive. He followed up on the estimate to see if I needed any additional information. I would consider using Southern Painting Company in the future.
