 + -1 morePete from Hawk Site reviewed a home to purchase last Spring. Having bought a house before I was not impressed the day of the inspection but he kept telling me that it was ok. Long story short and fast forward 4 month later, we purchased and moved to this house and discovered obvious older mold issues , rotten wood windows, missing float switch on the 3 HVAC systems, bad flashing on the roof, and other misc. We read the report and non of these are in the report. NOt only this was a waste of $500 but this was the worst inspector. He overlooked very important things which are ending up being costly repairs. I'm considering how to go after this guy!

 + -1 moreJared was highly recommended by our realtor and after checking out the reviews, we decided to have our potential home purchase inspected with Site Hawk. I had the opportunity to tag along to hopefully pick up some tips during the inspection. This was a first home purchase and my wife and I wanted to make sure we weren't buying a "money pit." After a thorough inspection, Jared found several minor issues but luckily nothing major. Jared pointed out several of the issues to me and also detailed them in his notes. At the end of the day, Jared provided us with a very detailed inspection report which gave us leverage in negotiating with the seller.

Description of Work: Jared Beard inspected a home my clients are in the process of buying. It is a newer home and overall in great shape, but Jared still managed to find a few issues for which he advised repair, maintenance or observation. My clients were very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection and the inspector's knowledgeable responses to their questions.
