Safe Space Construction does amazing work. They have great communication skills, both with their clients and their crew. They tell you a schedule and stick with it. They employ a crew who does wonderful construction work and pays attention to details. We had our deck demolished and rebuilt. The demo was quick and clean, they paid extra attention to the large beam that supported part of the roof and made sure it was always secure. The new deck is very lovely, sturdy, has clean mitered edges, and the stairs are now safer. I will recommend Safe Space Construction to my friends.

We had a wonderful experience working with Steve and Cassie! We had a tricky build --squeezing a multi-level deck between two old trees, existing landscaping, two pergolas and still finding a way to include my wish list of seating, privacy, and a big stock tank pool in the center. Steve saw my vision and made it come to life. There was a solid plan in place, but they were also flexible. I highly recommend and would certainly use them again!!

We HIGHLY recommend Safe Space Construction-- Steve Abbott and his team! We bid out a large, 2-story deck project. Unfortunately, we did not select Safe Space Construction. The contractor that we selected â almostâ finished the job before they disappeared. We had invested a considerable amount in decks that were not properly finished, did not meet code, looked terrible, and were unsafe. I contacted Steve Abbott/Safe Space Construction and asked for help. Steve and his team took on the mess that the prior contractor left behind. They corrected the structural issues (literally taking up much/most of the decking that had been installed, fixing the structure, and reinstalling the decking) and the finishing issues, enhancing the overall look and usability of the deck. They gave us a stunning, functional, safe deck that we can enjoy for many years to come. Steveâ s team does exceptional work. They are reliable and focused on quality workmanship and materials. The pergola that Steve added improved the upper deck so much! We are happy to recommend Safe Space Construction for your next project. We are so thankful that they worked on ours.

Iâ ve used Safe Space for both fence and deck projects and Iâ ve been very happy with the results. For the deck specifically, Steve provided a design to expand the original deck footprint, maximizing the livable space and view, and adding a pergola to provide ample shade for the west-facing deck. The result was beautiful and spacious with quality workmanship. The team was easy to work with, responsive, and accommodated several requested changes and additions to the project. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Working with Safe Space Construction was pretty much stellar. Steve consulted with us about what we wanted, made a few suggestions, and gave us estimates for different materials (along with info about the pros and cons of each). The crew came and demolished the old, rotten deck in surprisingly little time, and proceeded to build the new, improved deck. They are all very skilled, and both courteous and personable. We're very happy with the result, and can't wait to start entertaining out there!

We did extensive research when looking to rebuild our deck and stairs. Not only did Steve have the most competitive price, but the time he was willing to take to really talk things through and come out multiple times to scope the project were greatly valued, He really seemed to care and have a more personal approach. Now that the work is done, we are so glad we chose him and his crew. Our deck is so well built, and it looks beautiful. His crew led by Noe were such a pleasure to work with- they are master craftsmen, and were so pleasant and polite, just like everyone we dealt with there including Tiffany, the business manager. I would highly recommend Steve and Safe Space- they do exceptional work at a fair price.

We knew what we wanted but it was only a picture in our mind. We needed someone to make our dream a reality. We had several competitors come over and look at the project but Steve was the only one that responded with an estimate. This showed us he was responsible and would come through for us. The end result is everything that I imagined and more! His crew is also courteous, clean, and they know how to build a solid deck. I would highly recommend Steve and his team.

Steve and his crew built the framing for my composite deck and also installed the composite deck I purchased. Steve did all the due diligence to make sure the composite deck that I was purchasing was good quality and that I was buying enough material. I showed him the design that we wanted and the deck turned out exactly like the design. His crew was very diligent and professional and they made sure the finishes were done to the highest quality. My project had a lot of curves that took time and patience and his crew took the time necessary to deliver a wonderful product. Me and my family are very pleased with the end product and the price that was proposed was the most competitive. I would definitely recommend Steve and his crew for any deck project.

I chose Safe Space because of their low quotes and very high recommendations from two other recent clients. The crew worked for 4 days, including the week-end, to remove my old fence and build a new, sturdy, and handsome fence to my specifications. Beautiful workmanship and they left no litter or mess behind.

Steve did an excellent job of replacing my backyard fence. He provided the best estimate and finished the job sooner than expected. Another plus, besides the great price and the quality work, is that Steve is approachable, amicable and explains the entire process ahead of time to give you a clear understanding of the work involved. During the initial assessment, I was talking to Steve about some tree roots that remained in my yard after a large Bradford Pear was removed. He gave me some insight as to the best approach to removing the left over roots. Much to my surprise, once the fence project was completed, I noticed the tree roots were gone. He took them out at no extra charge. This is just another example of his great customer service mission and Steve's helpful attitude. I will definitely rehire Steve when I'm ready to install a deck in my backyard. Big thumbs up and I'm glad I found him for any future carpentry needs.
