Description of Work: This was our second Ryland home, both homes were built new. We have been very pleased with both purchases. The first Ryland home was in Sept of 1989. Both homes were in the greater Indianapolis area. We have sold both over the years and when we down-sized in 2010 they were not building one-story homes in the area we wanted. We lived in our first Ryland home 9 years and the second one, also for nine years. We bought through a different builder and we were disappointed that we couldn't have purchased from Ryland a third time

+ -1 moreAll in all it went well. We had some bumps in the road but so does anyone building a house. We loved the lot, neighborhood and floor plan. Our sales rep, Cynthia, was fabulous but went on maternity leave just as building began. We did not get many updates on the progress due to our rep being on leave but I drove by weekly to check. Our building supervisor was friendly but not very detail oriented. He made at least 2 mistakes in our favor and none in theirs so I cannot complain. He has since left the builder and the new supervisor is extremely punctual and thorough. The house itself has held up well. Any problems that arose were taken care of. I was mostly unhappy with the work done by the tile contractors and the landscaping company. I will be hiring a private inspector before our one year warranty is up. It will be interesting to see if he finds any errors. I will try to edit my post if something is wrong.
Description of Work: 3000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2 story, in Round Rock, contracted in December and completed in June.
