I've hired these guys four times now for big jobs (2 bathroom remodels) and small jobs (drywall patching, etc) and they're excellent. When they give you a date and time, they'll be there. When they estimate the work involved, they will be within a couple hours. When they go in and out, they cover floors, keep an eye out for pets, and are friendly throughout. My only complaint is that we moved out of Austin and can't use them anymore.

In August, we signed with Rx to have a bathroom remodel. They started on time, finished on schedule and budget, kept us informed all along, and the completed bathroom looked great. It was so great in fact that we re-hired them to do another bathroom immediately after in September. That bathroom looks great too.

The entire team at RX Home Solutions did a great job on our project, and we couldn't be happier with them or their work. Either Paul, the owner, or Tim, the supervisor--or both--were at the house every day to check on work and help solve problems, and all of the guys on the team were professional, highly skilled, and very motivated to make sure everything was done well. We appreciated that they were always punctual and careful about protecting surfaces in the house, and they cleaned up their tools and the work mess at the end of every day. The biggest thing about the whole RX team is their helpfulness, flexibility (as the scope of the project expanded bit by bit), and commitment to customer satisfaction. How lucky we were to have found them!

The work was done quickly and efficiently. They were extra careful to drape surrounding area to keep it clean. They also were careful to not let the two cats out. More importantly, when we saw problems with tile work, they were quick to correct the issues. Everyone involved was easy to work with.

The job started on October 6 and completed on November 15th, 2016. We met Paul before the job started and he was easy to work with. He would come by to make sure things were going okay. The crew came on time at 7:30 - 3:30 everyday - unless there was something that needed them to work after 3:30 which didn't happen often. We were pleasantly surprised that the crew (Allen and Jeff) took time with details throughout the remodel. Allen even showed my wife how to spray the orange peel texture which we hadn't done ourselves before and plan to in the future. We have not found any issues since the installation last year.

Chose Rx Home Solutions based on reviews and am so glad I did. Tim did the estimate and was so thorough, professional and fair priced that I cancelled all other bidders and hired them on the spot. My job was small compared to the larger jobs they do, but they fit me in for my one day project within 10 days of the bid. They arrived exactly when they said they would & the clean up was spotless. They amazingly managed to match my 10 year old exterior paint perfectly. What most impressed me was the extras they did. Three different areas were painted that we didn't hire them to do. They did this just to make everything look nicer. They did these extras in 100 degree heat and didn't even mention it to me, I just went outside and noticed Tim on the roof painting the chimney, then I went around the house and noticed all the other areas painted so nicely. What a pleasant surprise! This is the type of work ethic they have and it was my good fortune to be a recipient of it. It's great to find a quality company that mostly does large jobs, but still allows for small ones, so you get the benefit of their experienced crew. Don't think twice about it folks, just hire them!

It went really, really well. Rx Solutions folks were on time, skilled, detailed craftsmen. Personable, responsive. A very, very positive experience. We would use them again for all our projects.

We initially interacted with Tim and Paul during the quote and discussion phase. Lamar and his team did a really great job. We are very happy with the work done from our initial concept to the end result. Punctual and pleasant to deal with. They were open to questions and suggestions that my wife and I had about the work being done. They were diligent about doing the work right, in addition to work area setup to cleanup each day.

This is the second time we've used Rx Home Solutions and the second positive review we've written. The work was done quickly and with great attention to detail. We're 100% pleased and will be calling them back for our next project.

It was better than I ever hoped it would be. I love my new shower and have gotten many compliments on it and also love the extra space of the linen closet. Allen did an incredible job, he was professional, always started right on time and cleaned up completely before he left. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

We were very pleased with RX Solutions. We got numerous bids on our project and many of the contractors asked us to move out of our house during the remodel. RX Solutions said they would work with us to ensure that we could live in our house while they worked. Our project was expected to take 6 weeks. They kept pretty close to the schedule. We had a few delays while waiting for materials to be delivered however RX did their best to work around the delays and keep making progress. The one thing we really liked about RX is that they don't use subcontractors. We appreciated that the same people appeared at our house every day at exactly 7:30am to start work. They did a great job cleaning up every single day. It was a messy, dusty, and dirty job but RX Solutions did everything they could so that we had quality of life throughout the project. Our main contractor was John. He was at our house every day for 6 weeks. He became a member of our family and our dogs looked forward to seeing him every morning. Additional RX Solution employees were added to the project when their particular areas of speciality was needed. RX Solutions was not the cheapest bid but we felt like our money was well spent. They did quality work and were awesome to work with. They patiently answered questions. They were flexible when we changed our minds. They offered advice when asked. We love the end result. It is like living in a brand new house. I would hire RX Solutions again in a heart beat. Plan ahead and budget time as they are busy and their schedule can be booked out in advance. The good ones usually are and, in my opinion, it is worth the wait. RX Solutions is a fair company who delivers a quality product and looks out for the best interest of their customers.

Everything went great. Paul Hudspeth, the owner, has had people working for him for years and it shows in their attention to detail and quality. Allen and Jeff did an incredible job, checked with us frequently, made suggestions and were incredibly responsive on a Sunday morning when we had a very minor glitch. We're going to use them to do the exterior painting and in a couple of years they will remodel our kitchen. I've had an experience this good only a couple of times in 30+ years of owning homes.

It was a pleasure working with Rx, if one can refer to remodelling as a pleasure. In fact I was very impressed by the professionalism of everyone in the company, Paul, Tim, John, Lamar, Gambino and another John. The work was scheduled for one month and they finished it in 29 days. They are at the door EVERY Day at 7.30am and only took one day off - Labor Day. All the credit goes to the work ethics of the team, especially John and the well-managed scheduling. The cost structure was very transparent. Rx charged for the labor and I took care of the purchases. They were very helpful in picking up the merchandise, when they were not shipped to the house. I prefer working this way because it reduces a lot of potential misunderstandings. I found Tim and John very easy to work with. They tell me what could be done and what was not advisable and often suggested ways to achieve the results but in different manners. I appreciate very much John's contributions. He kept me informed. remembered my specifications, reminded me what would be needed, and double-checked with me whether or not there were misinterpretations. His cheerful can-do attitude never made me feel bad when I made changes or asked for recaps. We love the finished bathroom. I count myself fortunate to have found them. They have given me much confidence in approaching my next remodelling project.

Everything went to plan. We had to wait months for them but it was worth it. They started on time and stayed on schedule and they followed thru on everything they promised. They're estimate was below several others we had gotten. All workers were employees of RX, not sub's which made them highly reliable. They shopped for parts and cleaned up at the end of every day. Every job has a few hiccups and when this one did, they did the rework as promised, when promised, to the standard we required without complaint, debate or trying to negotiate a cheaper way out. Allen did most all of the work and he was prompt, professional, polite, clean and did a great job. We gave them the keys to our home and our trust in Paul and his crew was not misplaced. Got them off Angie's list to begin with and it paid off.

I had some unexplained soggy spots in the siding on the back of my house, near my shower and kitchen sink areas. I had a plumber investigate as much as was feasible without removing siding, and he found nothing. I decided to hire someone who could remove and replace the siding as well as do any necessary plumbing repairs. I had Tim come out to take a look, and he said it could be plumbing, or it could be rainwater,and they wouldn't really know until they got in there. It sounded like he knew what he was talking about, and he gave me a reasonable quote for replacing the siding and investigating for leaks. I felt very comfortable with Tim and with the idea of hiring Rx Home Solutions, but I felt as though I should get at least one more bid. I had someone from a handyman service come out, and their bid was about 30% higher. Well, that bid didn't even include the painting. With them doing the paint, their total bid would've been almost twice as much. I contacted Rx Home Solutions to schedule the repairs, and this is my only complaint. It took a while to get a date confirmed, and it was several weeks out. However, I can see why these guys are in high demand. They were scheduled for March 1st, but Paul had been trying the work me in sooner. He called me on February 25th and asked if the following day was ok. I agreed, and he said they'd be there around 7:30AM. The guys got here bright and early and went to work. They pulled off the old siding and started testing for leaks. Everything behind the siding was dry, and there was no sign of any current leakage with the showers and the kitchen sink running, but there were signs of previous leakage, probably from the heavy rains. They came up with a solution to protect the area from both rain and rats (yeah, that's a thing...). They put hardiboard behind the lowest row of siding, and put concrete sealer around the edges of the foundation. They weren't just going through the motions to fulfill the terms of the bid; they wanted to make sure my house was taken care of and that I wouldn't have any further damage. There weren't any extra charges, even though we hadn't discussed the hardiboard before, and they bought me a whole gallon of paint (I had some, but not enough.) If I need any more repairs that I can't do myself, I'll definitely be calling Rx Home Solutions again.

Two things I've never had happen while renovating until now: A contractor who turns up on time EVERY SINGLE DAY for 5 weeks straight A remodel that didn't drive me to drink. These guys are like the mythical teams you hear of that just do everything right - I've remodeled several houses and these guys are a dream to work with. I expected a nightmareish time with having half our house of the action, especially the kitchen but it was actually a non issue. The quality of work is excellent and the worth ethic and attention to detail (especially by Jeff) was amazing and I can be very OCD when it comes to the little details. No surprise hidden charges. Very flexible when changes are made. Every day the job site was left clean and tidy and I was super comfortable with having all of the team working in the house - I may even miss some of our conversations! I will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone I know.

Great job. Felt safe, reliable (always here at 7AM - if not 15 min before then), and patient (as this was my first remodel and i had lots of questions).

Prompt, courteous, and professional service was provided by RX to remodel our Kitchen and bath. RX contracts with credible companies to provide cabinets and granite countertops. The employees are courteous and competent. I would hire them again. Note the cost does not include the price for the granite or the new kitchen range, or floor tiles. We were happy to have the new bath tile applied over the top of existing tile. Not tearing out the old tile saved us a lot in labor and mess. We are enjoying the results. Like anything successful, it was worth the hassle and money. The only reason for a ? on Quality is because of problems with the showers. They were clogged form the construction process and had to be blown free of the clog; this was not major. We also had a problem with the kitchen RO but Paul really stepped up and gave us money for a whole new RO, not many contractors would do that. DO: 1.always get things in written format DON'T: 1. expect everything to be perfect the first time Things don't always go together as planned, it is like taking something completely apart and making something new; there are bound to be a few glitches. In the end this was so worth it.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the work by Rx Home Solutions. Although our work wasn't scheduled to start for another month, when our dishwasher broke Paul made arrangements for an installer to come on a Saturday morning so that we wouldn't have to wait. The attention to detail was outstanding and exceeded our expectations Jeff did most of the work and did a great job. We have several more house projects and plan to call Rx Home Solutions back when we're ready to start them.

They traded out 1 window to see if we would like the window. We did and they installed 3 more and did some small work inside the house. They also installed a door and everything went great.

Paul, Tim, Jeff, & John were wonderful to work with. Jeff performed the tear out of our shower and left the bathroom cleaner than when he arrived! We've never had that experience with a contractor before. Then, not to be outdone, John also did a wonderful job and when he got some dust and grime on our wood floors downstairs, promptly mopped them up (he didn't know we wouldn't have noticed a little more dust on the floors)! By the time they were done, we were ready to invite them to move in in exchange for housecleaning services! They completed the expansion of our shower (less the glass which is being done by Anchor Ventana) in less than four days. They arrived promptly each day at 7:30 a.m. and left the bathroom looking like they'd never been there. The quality of the work is great. We can't wait to have glass to enjoy it. We would definitely use them again!

Rx Home Solutions did an excellent job. From our first contact to completion of the bathroom, they were professional, punctual, first-rate in all aspects.

We were very pleased with Paul and his team of professionals who worked on this project. When they came out to get information regarding the job to submit a bid they provided ideas that I hadn't thought of and options that would help me keep costs down. Paul provided me with a list of vendors to work with for the things that i would need to purchase - counters/fixtures/tile, etc and I was able to pick and choose as I wanted. He also stressed that I could use any vendor I wanted to, but I stayed with his list since he has had prior experience with them. All the professionals that came to the house to perform the work were just that - professional. They were on time, they did quality work, and they cleaned up after themselves. I never had an issue were they weren't there when they said they would be. Also, all the professionals worked for RX Home Solutions - no subcontractors. We had one minor hic-up with some tile getting delayed - but that wasn't Paul's fault. Other than that the project went as planned on schedule and according to budget. They're a pleasure to work with and I would definitely hire them again.

The work was completed a little ahead of schedule, much to our delight. The workers were punctual, reliable, diligent & friendly & we enjoyed their company. The owner stopped by often to check progress. Extremely satisfied with results & have referred to others.
