Steve is very responsive to my request for inquiry and always prompt in his response. It was supposed to be raining on the day that my installation was scheduled and was very flexible in rescheduling the install. It turned out that the rain did not materialize and the installation crews were at my house on the scheduled time. The quality of works is very good. They cleaned up very well after they were done. I am very impress with their professionalism and quality of work.

Steve (the estimator) was the most knowledgeable of all the companies we got bids from. He knew exactly how to do what we wanted done. He had good suggestions for things I wasn't sure what I wanted. Their bid was in the middle. Not the highest, not the lowest. Very responsive to phone calls with questions. Our project was delayed a few days due to rain. On the rescheduled date, the crew arrived at 7am and they were done by 2pm. The new roof looks great! They fixed the rotten/damaged areas and I think the new ridge vents are going to make a big difference in our cooling bills this summer. Final cost was exactly per the bid. They did an excellent job of cleaning up afterward. I am very happy with this experience and will definitely recommend Stacy Pearson Roofing to anyone who asks.

Pearson was able to come out and make the quick repair very soon after my initial call, and came out himself on a Saturday afternoon to make the fix. I was very impressed, and you could tell that this group values the reputation of their work, and wanted to make sure that their customers continued to be satisfied. I was very impressed. These are the type of people that you want to do business with.

shinglesThis is the THIRD time I have used Stacy Pearson. I had my roof replaced on a different house in north Austin twice due to hail storms. The latest roof job was on a house that I purchased in 2008 in south Austin and the original roof was installed in 1998. Each experience with Stacy Pearson has been outstanding. Steve Powers does the estimate and sets up the contract and he has been doing this for years (another good sign of integrity). Overall....it is a high quality, been in Austin forever company with high integrity and high quality roofing materials. The biggest difference with Stacy and other roofing companies is that Stacy still has his workers HAND NAIL all the asphalt shingles in place. It takes longer but no high powered staple guns that in many cases can blow right thru the shingle if not correct pressure. Stacy actually came to my property to inspect the work twice....as it was started and when it was done. He is very meticulous and actually had his people come back on Saturday to tweak a few things. We also had a challenge with a sun room that needed a different roof than asphalt shingles and actually required a lot of time to seal it correctly. They did a great job of that as well. I had 4 bids and when all was said and done....Steve Powers (Stacy Pearson) spent the most time inspecting the roof and came in at mid-range in price for all the other bids. They weren't the cheapest (but who wants that anyway if you want a good job) and they weren't the most expensive. Right in the middle. I can not say enough good things about this roofing company. I am very particular and this is the third time I have hired them.

We used Roofing by Stacy Pearson last time the roof required replacing. We were pleased with the price and service. Of course we called them again. Steve, co-owner, still had the same cell phone number. This is a good sign! Steve explained the differences between the different classes of roofing shingles, showed me the shingles that had blown off some roofs he was evaluating, how these differed from the quality his company NOW used. The decisions were mine to make. I like that Roofing by Stacy Pearson nails down the shingles by hand. They also use a higher grade of shingle than other roofers were using -- all for a better price than other quotes (I always check even though I knew Stacy and Steve were going to lay my roof!). They have been doing this for years and I trust them. Steve's squad came on Friday and finished early Saturday. Everything was rolled clean. I did find a couple of nails behind the shrubs, but the grounds were left so clean I wouldn't have known they'd been there! Aces! They worked seamlessly with my insurance company making it SO easy for me. My adjuster complimented Steve on the quality of the quote/invoice. My checks came quickly and without complication. I have recommended them to others in the neighborhood and will definitely use Stacy Pearson again!

Steve and his crew did a great job for me re-roofing a cabin out near Hamilton pool. He met me on time for the bid, the crew arrived on time for the job, and the result was great. Everyone was most professional and capable. This company re-roofed another location for me a couple of years ago, and we had the same experience. They may not be the cheapest bidder, but the price was reasonable on both jobs and the results perfect. The clean-up after the job was good too. I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Stacy Pearson did an excellent and very professional job...we would definitely use them again and recommend them to others! My home needed a new roof and my husband and I interviewed several companies and decided to go with a group that had good references including a family member. That contractor asked we pay 50% upfront and so we did only to never see him again! We essentially started over and asked neighbors who they had used in the past and Stacy Pearson Roofing came up numerous times so my husband and I called and got an estimate for a total tear down and re-roof ...Steve was very professional and nice to work with. The process could not have been easier. Steve submitted a very competitive, reasonable bid and highly recommended we add ridge vents to our scope of work. We did and awarded the job to Stacy Pearson, within two days the materials were delivered and by the end of the fourth day we had a beautiful new roof! The job was seamless and our yard was rolled and there were no nails or trash to be found! The ridge vents work great too...last week (it was 105 degrees outside) my husband had to go up in the attic to look at the a/c unit and it was significantly cooler than prior to having the ridge vents...I am sure it is helping with the electric bill too during this heat wave!! Went very well. Steve impressed me as someone who knew the business and who wasn't trying to put anything over on me. I told him what type of shingle I wanted from descriptions of other recently reroofed houses nearby and he got me just what I wanted. The roof looks great and have had no problems with it in the 14 months since installed.

Very good experience...again. Very prompt, professional service, and Stacy's field rep, Steve Powers, was very helpful in answering all my roof and insurance questions and again a pleasure to work with. Stacy Pearson had replaced our roof in the 1990's, did a good job, and so went with him again to replace our roof that was damaged from the March 2009 hail storm. Had several estimates, all very competitive in price, but decided to go with Stacy and Steve because Stacy's a second generation local roofer, has been in business locally for 20+ years and has a A+ BBB rating, Steve who I worked with before is still onboard, and even still has pretty much the same crew that installed our roof in the 1990's. All this tells me they are doing it right and stand behind their work. For example, about a year or two after they replaced our roof in the 1990's, a very strong wind storm blew off a 4' section of ridge vent they'd installed, and all it took was a quick phone call to Steve Powers and they came out and replaced it no questions asked. They also take care to hand nail all the shingles which I learned is preferable to using a nail gun. When I called Steve to give them the go ahead, they got the roof installed the very next day even though I was requesting a new shingle color that's not as widely and readily available as the more standard colors that are always in stock. Both Steve and Stacy stopped by several times during the day to make sure the job was going well. The crew was professional and courteous and did a good job cleaning up considering it was dark by the time they finished. I will not hesitate to call them again if I ever need another roof job, and would highly recommend that anybody needing a roof contact them.

My home needed a complete new roof, and my husband and I spent well over a year researching at least ten different roofing companies. Originally we heard about Stacy Pearson Roofing through Yelp. Steve, one of the owners, came by and gave us an estimate in May of 2010. When he was finished preparing the estimate he spent at least 30 minutes discussing the quote with me and describing their process. He also gave me his personal cell phone number and told me to call him if I had any questions. After receiving many estimates and talking to several more roofers, my husband and I laid out all of our quotes and narrowed down our search to two companies, Stacy Pearson and one other company. We called Steve back and he came over the next day and sat down with both my husband and me and spent a good hour discussing his quote. He was able to answer all of our questions to our extreme satisfaction. We decided that we would hire them to do the job. Our estimates ranged from $12,500 to $17,500, and Stacy Pearson's estimate was $13,000. We scheduled the re-roof and they were able to complete most of it in one day (and our roof is very large!). They came back the next day and spent about an hour finishing up some odds and ends. They did a very good job cleaning up debris and making sure they did not damage our lawn and flowerbeds. Stacy Pearson himself came by several times during the re-roof to check on progress and answer my questions. This was an extremely positive experience for us. Both Stacy and Steve are absolute professionals who do what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it. I will absolutely call them again if I have roofing needs in the future, and I would definitely highly recommend them to anyone! A great experience from a very well run, professional company.

Was easy to work with. Did an excellent job, even fixing the flashing around the fireplace without any comments (or extra cost). Did a very nice cleanup too. We only found a few nails. (unusual for a roofing job). We have had couple of heavy rains since, and our skylights have been fine. (they were leaking). They even covered our outdoor air conditioner unit with plywood so no debris would go down into it. They did a very good job. They did not interface with our insurance agent so I can't comment on that.

we bought our home in Sept 2009. Previous owner had roof replaced by Stacy Pearson roofing after one of the 2009 hailstorms. In March 2010, we discovered evidence of a leak from one the flashings. I contacted the company and, even though we weren't the original customer, they sent someone out within a few days of our call to evaluate and repair the situation. The treated just as if we were the original customer and they treated us right! I would definitely call and use this company again.

They started when they said they would and finished on time. They even sent some folks back to walk my yard to pick up debris and nails that may have fallen in the grass. Clean-up was really good during the job as well. They fixed my ridge vents which originally had too large of an opening. Stacey Pearson came and inspected the work after all was done and had the guys come back out to redo the ridge vents because it wasn't done quite to his satisfaction. I was kept informed and had any and all questions answered.

I had several leaks in my old roof that were pretty old - one leak was so bad that a worker fell through the roof and ceiling but they came in and fixed it in the same day. Stacy came out to do a quality check after the job was complete. I had to do very little cleanup after they were finished. They did a great job and were very consciencious about completing it and bringing my home up to code.
