+ -1 moreEverything went very good. They came when they said they were coming. They did their job quickly and got in and out. They didn't over charge me.
Description of Work: Rodriguez Tile redid a tile floor for me that was in my Mother's house.

+ -1 moreBecause of a glitch in the closing, I had to reschedule the tile work asking Steve to delay coming by one day. The first scheduled day Steve did not show, but called to cancel. The second day he and Hugo showed up and began the work. It took two days longer than estimated, but the work is excellent. The tile is installed well, the grouting is smooth and complements the varied colors in the backsplash and in the slate surround on the fireplace. The "dye job" on the grout in the kitchen is just as promised; it really makes the floor tile look as if it were chosen at the same time as the cabinets and the glass and stone 1 X 1 tiles. The only ugly memory I have of Steve is the patch of dead grass by my front door where they poured out the muratic acid they used to clean the grout before dying it.
Description of Work: I bought a house and wanted to change the tile on the kitchen backsplash and the fireplace surround. I bought both of the tiles at a local tile outlet before I contracted with Rodriguez Tile, also known as Steve O's Tile, to tear out the old tile and replace it. The tile in the kitchen was 1 X 1 glass and stone tiles, and the fireplace tile was irregular slate. Steve Rodriguez and John Espinosa came viewed the job and made an estimate. They both suggested that I might like to dye the grout in the kitchen floor a tone which would make it look better with the tile I had selected for the backsplash.

+ -1 moreWe had an excellent overall experience, Steve seems to have a lot of experience and was very helpful in choosing the materials as well and doing the full installation. His work is careful and professional, very responsive to phone calls. He even agreed to drive down to our condo in Corpus to do a job. Friendly, polite manner. Cleans up after all jobs. His prices were very reasonable compared to other quotes we got. We would strongly recommend him.
Description of Work: Steve and his crew have done a few projects for us in the last year. 3 tub surrounds with glass tile insets, a kitchen floor, flooring for a whole condo unit. We also plan on using him for a new house we are building in the fall.
