absolutely miserable experience... after making arrangements with the sales rep,who went on vacation the week of my job, i made arrangements for the job to be done.on the day of the job , in the heat of summer these guys show up several hours late and i have to go to work... when i come in around 4:30 i see they are installing the wrong drip edge and i stop the moron "owner" of the company and ask about the mixup and he calls his sales rep in california and they come to the convenient conclusion that it was the fault of austin roofing supply who delivered the supplies...as it is getting dark these guys are struggling to finish the job as they started way late for a hot day... can't walk on hot shingles as you can ruin them... not that this guy cares! when the ridge vent goes in i hear some noises out of the guy who is sawing the opening for the vent and not thinking anything of it i let it go... the sales rep comes by a day or two after they finish and says he will give me a break of a couple of hundred dollars on the price and take some trash of of the property if i agree to put up the correct drip edge myself! he said that his guys would probably "mess"up the work that i had already done. i had put up the start of a soffit system that had taken me weeks to complete. well i agreed to the deal much to my dismay because it took me about 40 man hours to reinstall the drip edge the visigoths were supposed to install correctly in the first place. the worst of all the insults was that the noise i heard when these morons were installing my ridge vent was a skill saw that was set at 2 inches deep to cut a one half inch piece of ply wood... the cuts in my rafters still remain and the moron doing the cutting didn't snap a chalk line , just did the cut freehand thus the ridge vent was nailed down in some places and in others the nails were into nothing...should have filed a lawsuit but didn't. this company shouldn't be in business... beware of the lowball price!!!

We were satisfied with them. They were highly knowledgeable. We had unusual requests for the type of products that we wanted and he was the first person that we talked to that actually knew what we were talking about and was able to satisfy what we were looking for. The price was competitive. The salesman was great and the installers were a standard Mexican roofing crew. They were nice enough. We were a little bothered by the way they dropped the roofing bundles on the roof because it made the whole house shake; we wish they had been a little gentler. Overall the work they did was good and we haven't had any leaks. They did a good job of cleaning up. We would use them again.

I had to have my roof replaced due to a hailstorm last year. The insurance company provided me with an estimate sometime in October 2009. I contacted almost ten different roofers to get quotes, to get an idea of the kind of service they provided, choice in colors and quality, etc. Many roofers use inferior quality products to appear price-competitive. Rhino Roofing provided me with excellent service - I dealt with Mark Webster. He was very responsive on the phone, took his time to explain various options to me, worked with my insurance company and even took the time to bring a sample of various roofs that I could choose from. He ultimately installed a beautiful 30 year HD roof with Gaf-Elk shingles with the amount that was paid to me by my insurance company. Workmanship was excellent and my roof looks beautiful! The amount of $4000 that I paid was just my insurance deductible and had nothing to do with Rhino Roofing.
Description of Work: My originally 3-tab shingle roof was completely replaced with a 30 year HD Gaf-Elk roof.

During a hail storm, an oak tree fell on my roof and the roof began to leak. There was also structural damage to the roof. We had some slight problems with the repair but the owner of the company took care of everything. I have the highest regard for the owner and his customer service.
Description of Work: I used Rhino Roofing to put a new roof on my 3200 square foot house.
