REX N' EFFECTS

Description of Work: Called Rex about patching a hole in my sheetrock and giving me an estimate on framing and sheetrocking a storage room. He said he would be out the next day but never showed or called. I called him again several days later and left a message but never heard back. I have to say that a person who doesn't even have the courtesy to return calls is not worth dealing with.

Description of Work: I placed a call to "Rex", he answered and we visited about my project. I asked him directly if he was available and if he was interested in my project, he answered affirmatively. He was to come to my home two days later in the evening at a set time, when a half hour past that time had elapsed and I didn't hear from him I called. He said he was busy and could we do it the next evening, I agreed. The next evening I called him 15 minutes before he was to be here and he said he was out of town. I said we would be in contact on Sunday afternoon, he should call me. I did not hear from him. I would not call this a reliable person. He could have told me up front that he was not interested or whatever he wanted but I wasted several days waiting for a person that I thought would be a potential hire and I could have been looking at others instead. I give Mr. Rex failing marks all around. A persons word and consideration for others is very important when they come into your home.

Description of Work: Rex completely remodeled my bathroom including re-tiling, installing plumbing fixtures, paint and replaced subfloor. The $4,000 included materials as well as labor. Rex's labor was only $2000. Quite a bargain!

Description of Work: Rex Ferguson has been working with me on my home remodel several times a week since March 2007. He has done drywall, tape and float, built arched doorways, hung interior and exterior doors, tiled a backsplash and a fireplace, refinished a staircase, painting, roofing, electrical work, and carpentry.
