We first came into contact with Elliott several years ago when he helped my wife’s mother locate an apartment in central Austin. We expressed an interest in relocating from San Antonio in the near future and exchanged contact information. Long story short, our plans to move were put on hold with some family health issues that we were faced with. All the while, Elliott stayed in close contact with us, always expressing genuine interest in our family and our future goals. Elliott never sent out mass-messages, bugged us, or was pushy about our situation. Instead, he was always sincere, personable, patient, and helpful. After several years of a well-maintained relationship with Elliott (all on his part), despite little evidence that our move to Austin was ever going to be fulfilled, I knew we were going to go with him as our agent when the time was right. Fast forward more than 5 years after we initially met him, Elliott recently helped us finally see our goal fulfilled. Throughout the entire process, including one contract that fell through due to a unsatisfactory inspection and the seller’s unwillingness to negotiate, we felt Elliott had our backs 100%. He always kept our desires first and foremost and went to bat for us when needed. I honestly feel like Elliott is an old friend at this point, and one that we will be contacting again for any real estate ventures in the future. He is knowledgable, confident, listens, and offers sound advice. We even had a miscommunication about an inspection that Elliott ended up paying for out of his own pocket without hesitation - we didn’t ask him to do it, he took the initiative to take care of it on his own. That spoke volumes to me. I can go on and on about this guy but bottom line, if you want someone who is going to go to work for you, contact Elliott Sanchez. I can't say enough good things about Scott. He help me alone the process being a first time home buyer I wasn't sure what I was looking for but Scott help me find the best homes for me and my family. He was always in consistent communication with updates whether or not there is any new property on the market. Scott went above and beyond. I was never wondering about and status of a property. There was no phone call, texts, or emails he didn't respond to. Once we found a home he offer a service free of charge to have all my utilities connected. I highly recommend Scott and his team to anyone who wants to have a pleasant experience while buying or selling their house. Professional, courteous, highly knowledgable and always responsive.

Joe Cummings of Central Realty Austin has been a dream to work with. He has helped us buy a home, helped us rent a home, and helped us sell a home. When we were on the fence and thinking about selling our old place, he encouraged us to take advantage of Austin's booming rental market, even though he could have made more money if we had sold. The next year we sold the same place for much more than we would have previously. He is a great communicator, making sure everybody is on the same page, and returns phone calls and emails promptly (which is what lead us to work with him). When showing homes, he is super friendly, not pushy at all, and if you'd like, will give an honest critique of how he thinks a property would work or not work for your needs. During the buying process, he gave us great advice and really advocated for us, pushing for discounts that we would not have gotten without him. Highly recommended! Realty Austin is great, but we will follow Joe wherever he goes!

Victoria Wilson of Realty Austin is an outstanding realtor and is a wonderful person to work with. I was a first-time home buyer who recently moved to Texas and had very specific requirements as to what would work. Victoria was instrumental in making it all come together. Victoria set up multiple searches based upon my criteria and showed us many homes and properties covering many miles and days over a five month period. Victoria's greatest strength is her responsiveness. She always got back to me immediately, regardless of the time of day or night, either by phone, text or email. Most often, it was with the information I needed, even when it was a complex matter. If the answer was not immediately at hand, Victoria had it to me by the next day. Victoria is very intelligent, has a superb network and is very resourceful. Victoria was always energetic, cheerful and helpful, and worked tirelessly to go the extra mile, answer my questions, provide referrals and lead me through the process in detail. Specifically, Victoria provided market analyses of comparable homes, tax information, surveys, subdivision plats, photos and property maps, information about covenants, conditions and deed restrictions, set up multiple home inspections, provided referrals to various contractors, insurance agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, home warranty companies, utilities and septic services, Never once was I pressured into doing anything, but the information was always very helpful and sometimes essential. Victoria was an effective negotiator and was very helpful when dealing with contracts and amendments. Basically, Victoria was indispensable to me from beginning to end during the home buying process. I highly recommend Victoria without reservation. Victoria turned what could have been a very difficult experience into a very successful, exciting and fun adventure.

So it started all well with Colette. The actual downside starts later but when we hired her, she was all good, always wanting to help us see different properties. She was always punctual and she gets good points there. But when we finally selected the property, she was not a good negotiator. While we made a low ball offer initially, we were not expecting to get it but let me tell you, I was offering on a house that was in market for over 30 days. So I was expecting her to get some good deal for us. But I wouldn't think she was good in negotiation. Eventually after her offering us some refund on her commission and we going all the way up very close to sellers asking price, we were eventually able to sign a contract. As soon as we signed the contract it all went south. She asked us to use her referred Inspector. We agreed to it. The inspector asked us more money than usual but when I negotiated a little bit and then I asked him 2 questions about the contract, he replied back saying he doesn't want to work with me. Colette started being mad at us about it. Initially I thought it was my mistake but later I realized that he was probably a shady business. So I was fortunate to get rid of him and I hired my own Inspector. Right after this, it started getting difficult to talk to Colette. She tried telling us indirectly that she is uncomfortable working with us. During option period we asked her to show us some more properties but she kept giving us reasons and we started loosing time on our option period. Eventually when I pushed her, she wrote back a very unprofessional email telling us that we are being unreasonable and she doesn't want to work with us because we did not follow her professional advice. I always thought professional advice is my right not my duty but anyways. It doesn't end here. We were stuck at this point since we were under contract. I felt like I was being taken hostage. I can't explain how I felt that day. It was really horrible experience. Anyways, I tried to be calm and tried calming her down by apologizing. Trust me you don't want to be in a situation when you are buying home according to your Realtor or else she will not work with you. Eventually we decided on settling with this house and went in full contract after option period. She would not send us updates on home repairs or HOA documents that she would receive from sellers or Title company until we asked for it or ping her for something else. It was like business over for her. We were few days from closing and we have to go do final walk through. I sent her this question - and quot;What if we find something during walk through that was working fine previously during inspection?and quot; I am not sure how difficult it was to answer for her but she did reply back in a taunting language that and quot;unless roof blows away or house is burnt down we cannot do anythingand quot;. I am sure that is not true. Anyways, after closing when we went to the house, there was no electricity so I called utility company. They told me that I cannot get electricity for another 2 days since the old owners just disconnected and they did not ask for transfer. I am not sure whose fault was that but I would think that agents on both sides should have worked this out. Anyways my recommendation is DO NOT HIRE her unless you are an ignorant buyers and you are ready to deal with her volatile behavior. Not sure about other realty austin agents but I personally would not hire any realtor from realty austin any more. I am done with them. One thing I would give her good points is on doing paper work. Everything was covered. But overall really really HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Winona was always on time to all my appointments, gave me practical advice on potential properties, pointed out deficiencies , returned my phone calls or emails promptly and was a true professional.

He has a web site easy to use. I was able to look inside and out and look at the neighborhood. He has an added feature that would tell me what was within walking distance of my potential home. He took me to 30 homes in a four day visit to Austin. He helped me the minute I arrived.

Brendan Doherty at Realty Austin was FANTASTIC in every way. He showed us more properties than we would have found on our own, and was patient and thoughtful throughout. He is incredibly well informed about the area and the buying process. He kept us informed every step of the way and returned every call quickly. He even came to closing, asking questions about the paperwork and ensuring that everything we asked for was included.
