It's about $40 a month.

Easily the worst excuse for a yard maintenance company I have ever encountered. Use them at your own risk. When I got my final bill, there was a mysterious $200 charge on it. I called to complain about the bill and ended up getting into an argument with the "office" manager about the bill (given the service, I wanted it marked paid and go our own way), so I have filed a complaint with the BBB (something I have never done in the past). If I could think of anything positive to say about this company I would do so now - note the silence!

Persistant billing issues, our lawn was in better shape before we started their service and pest control required multiple visits to cure the problem. When we contacted the company about the problems they were not responsive, not willing to take responsibility and did not follow-up as promised with a resolution. When we contacted them again about lack of follow-through they made excuses and did not take responsibility. When I pointed out my disappointment, there was no apology for their lack of service and they did not express an interest in doing anything to keep our business. Very disappointing treatment after being customers for more than 6 years.

It’s been a great experience working with them. We love them. They are always available, if you have any issues, they will come right back out. They are very helpful and informative; they will answer any questions you may have.

Through their website I arranged for them to send a person out to inspect my lawn and leave their recommendations. I was actually quite impressed with the evaluation notes that were left on my front door. They were very thorough and full of good information that I can use regardless of whether or not I hire them. That part went extremely well. The rest of it... not so much. The guy that inspected my lawn sent me an email later that day. Once again going over the problems he found in my yard along with suggestions of how to put together a plan for improving things. A few days later I responded to his email asking that we arrange a day to meet and go over his ideas. He never responded to the email but he did call me at work several times. Unfortunately, I am on the phone constantly at work and spend most of my day returning missed calls. It took us a few weeks to connect on the phone but we finally did. Now, I had already made up my mind that I was going to hire this company. My plan was to start out with their "basic" service and if things went well I would upgrade to a more extensive (and expensive) plan. I did have concerns from reading here (and elsewhere online) that they have a reputation for not showing up when they say they will. Not good! That is the kind of thing that can really irk me. So, I was concerned and planned to discuss it with the sales rep when we met. I was still pretty sure I would hire them though. We're not talking about a huge amount of money here for the basic service. I figured it would be a good way to test them out. If things did not go well then I'm out less than $500. The day we spoke on the phone was right before Thanksgiving. As he was going out of town he was not able to be here that following Saturday. No problem at all there... I completely understood. Our agreement was that he would come out the following Saturday (12/04/10). My weekends are crazy busy so I had to be careful about making sure I was here at the house when he arrived. Well, I was here... all day. Guess who never showed up? Guess who did not call? Guess who STILL has not called? Guess who will NOT be getting the contract to treat my lawn... or anything else. Guess who I will tell all of my friends and family to not hire? Real Green = Real Gone, in my book.

I contacted them because my lawn was in bad shape. An inspector did come out and made some recommendations. He seemed to be knowledgeable and friendly and willing to help, and answered my questions patiently. He also gave me some suggestions about the upkeep of the lawn. Left me with an estimate and other helpful literature about lawn diseases, etc. I did call another company for the same problem, and they pretty much made the same recommendations. They were about 25% more expensive though for the same service. So I decided to go with Real Green. They did set me up with an appointment for the core aeration pretty quickly; they have in general been very responsive on the phone. I was told someone would show up in the morning of the scheduled day. Come the day of the appointment, no one showed up at the appointed time. I called and was told that I was the last stop on their schedule, and so someone would show up at the end of the day (3-5 pm). I waited till 5 pm, still no one showed up. Called them again; was told the person was running 1 hour behind. He finally did show up around 6:30 pm. Was pretty quick and efficient with the aeration though. I was happy with the results, although he missed a couple of spots (I guess they were hard or nearly impossible to get to with the big aeration machine). Overall I'd say I am pretty satisfied for what I paid; they were not very punctual though.

I think they are good. Someone came out and looked at all of our shrubs and trees and I think he must have been a botanist because he was very knowledgeable about insects, fungi, and things like that. He was able to answer all of my questions and they scheduled someone to come out according to what they found. My plants are much healthier and the products that they use are non-toxic. They put everything that they found down in writing.

I was impressed with them and their professionalism.

They said the weed control would take a while, so I'm not sure yet how things are going. They don't come at a particular time, just sometime on the day they say they will and I don't really interact with them.

They were roughly punctual on their monthly visits and left little report cards for me on the condition of the lawn. The lawn had been doing well under their care (less summer die-back/better drought tolerance), but I was forced to cancel service due to budget constraints. I would recommend Real Green to those looking for lawn chemical care, but I will choose an all-in-one landscaping/lawn care company in the future.

I pay them monthly. They are great and I've been happy with them. They are very prompt. Their response is great and they are really on it. They do whatever I need to have done. The price is fine, but I haven't priced others. It is worth it to me.

They handle the pest control applications, lawn fertilization and associated services. Their service is fine. I hate their billing. I am going to drop them because of their billing and accounting department.

I began a treatment regiment with them in September. Initially, I was very pleased with the service. I knew the lawn would appear worse before it would get better During treatments, I observed issues that I wanted to discuss with the service technician. In April, I specifically asked to speak with the technician when he treated my lawn. He arrived, treated the lawn and left; never knocking on the door. With this last service, the instructions did not seem to make sense and the appearance of the lawn was getting worse, not better. As it was after hours, I completed the email form from their website, though the email form is several pages long and, though it seems oppressive for just asking a simple question, I completed the form. In April, they said they were having an email issue and didn't receive my email. In May, I took the time to complete the form and they failed to respond. After waiting one week for a response, I left a voice message and received no response. The next day I left another one and still I have had no response. It has now been almost two weeks since the initial email without follow up on the part of the company. I'll do whatever is requested to assist a company but when you have questions and issues about something, it's hard to resolve if the company is unresponsive.

I couldn't be more happy! I like them coming out every other month and spraying around of my house instead of coming inside every quarter. I now understand why coming out every quarter just doesn't work in this heat.

I had been using another company who continually missed appointments or didn't return my calls. On top of that my lawn continued to go down hill. I first heard about Real Green through a co-worker who had nothing but good things to say about them. I decided to give them a call and was pleasantly surprised with the knowledge of the gentleman who came out to a evaluate my lawn. He took one quick walk through my lawn and explained what my problem was and how he was going to fix it. I must admit I had a few doubts at first because I had two managers with my previous company come out and tell me two completely different reasons for my lawns decline. Once I expressed my concern he took the time to explain how he knew what the problem was and gave me plenty of literature on the fungal damage. I decided to hire Real Green. That same night I got a call to let me know someone would be out in the next couple of days to get me started. I didn't even have to sign any contracts! Two days later a technician came out to address the issue. Since then the lawn continues to improve. I even get email reminders on when to water and how much water my lawn will need. That was all two years ago and I cant believe the complete 180 my lawn has taken! Thank you Real Green!

I have used Real Green for years. They always do what they say, when they say. No problems ever....

We signed an annual contract, for the year of 2007-08, to have them come around once ever 6 weeks put chemicals on lawn and take care of our lawn, as well. On the first appointment, in October 2007, they performed a core aeration on my lawn and wished for it to done only this one time. However, in early August of 2008 they performed the core-aeration again, with-out our permission. We never requested this service and still they performed it and charge us for it. We contacted them multiple times to state that we never wished to have this extra core-aeration performed. They continue to bill us with interest. I have called multiple times and still have had no reply. I should not have to pay this bill (now around $95.00) for something I did not request. During my second phone call to them, end of August, I offered to forfeit the rest of my contract to reach some sort of compromise. They are difficult to contact and get a hold of. This has been a very frustrating ordeal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- More details: I had talked with Mr. Naiser on the phone during the week of September 18th regarding I was billed by a service, core aeration (7/16/08), which we never placed an order for it. Last October while his staff approached me with his company's basic lawn care program to take care of the weed problems on our side yard, I gave him my permission to do an "one time" core aeration, which was done on 11/12/07. I specifically said we would like to prepaid the whole year expense because we did not want to see unexpected expense popped up and would like to have our budget under control. And, that's why we prepaid the whole year basic lawn care program and an "one time" core aeration done on 11/12/07, such that we would not owe the company any money. On this early August, we received the bill from his which included an "core aeration" done on 7/16/08 and that caused us owe him $90.14 (now is close to $95 because of interest). We're really surprised and shocked while we got that bill, because we never request an "core aeration" service this year and how someone could just walk into our yard to do something and bill us, without our permission or even consulting with us. I immediately called his office regarding this issue, but, no response from his office. After thinking that we might continuously waste our time, on our second and third phone call, we told them that we're willing to forfeit our remaining service of our basic lawn care program for the rest of the contract year (Aug. Sep. and Oct. three months service) such that we would not receive the $90.14 (now around $95) bill, which we did not even agree to pay for it. Nobody returned our multiple phone calls and e-mails to follow up us. Meanwhile, we see the bill of $90.14 increased to around $95.

They answered their emails promptly. They told me up front it will be up to 5 weeks before they can get around to it. They came out in the third week and got the job done. I am happy with their work and will hire them again.

There were no follow up emails/phone calls from them and I decided not to go with them.

Did what they said, when they said. Fast and easy. They come out on a schedule and treat outside around the house, or inside when I ask.

These guys take their time and do a nice job. They dedicate either time to our yard when they are working to make sure that everything looks great. They always do what they say they are going to do and the price is reasonable as well. I am pleased with the service.

We use their services a couple times a year. They are easy to schedule with and are always on time. We are happy with the service they provide and will continue to use their services. I am comfortable with the price they charge me when see the results in my yard.
