I called Randalls after getting a quote from another AC service. Steven repaired the real problem instead of laying a $2000. phony coil replacement cost on me as the previous AC Company was trying to do. He responded within minutes, got to my home in 30 minutes and repaired the problem in less than an hour. Very nice guy. Very professional.

Showed up promptly and got to work right away. Quickly diagnosed the problem and had the parts on-hand in his truck to fix it. He had us back up and cooling in under 30 minutes. Good job!

One of my air conditioning units stopped in the middle of the day. I called Randall A/C around 1:30pm and Stephen Randall was at my house in about an hour. The motor was replaced and the unit was back in working order around 3pm. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I called and they came that morning. It took about two hours to complete the service. They were punctual and very quick in fixing the problem. The service was great!

Stephen answered the phone and agreed to come in the afternoon. I asked him to call before he headed in the direction. I could not make it when he called (1:30) and I asked him if he can make it at 3:30. He said he will call if he can. After that there was no communication and did not pick up the phone when I tried to call back again. It was very UN-professional and will definitely not use this company again.

Stephen answered the call while he was on the road, but called back within 5 minutes to get my details. He was on his way to another call and came by my house right after that. It was approximately 1 1/2 hours. He identified the problem right away and repaired it. I had cool air within minutes.

I CONTACTED STEPHEN WITH RANDALL FAMILY A/C AT 7:24 THIS MORNING. HE WAS HERE BY 8:00 AM. HE WAS ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM WITH MY A/C AND RELAYED THE COST. HE REPLACED THE PART AND WAS ON HIS WAY. IT IS NOW 8:44AM. SO, QUICK, EFFICIENT, PLEASANT. WE DISCUSSED THE EXPECTED LIFESPAN OF MY OLD A/C UNIT AND AVE. COSTS OF NEW UNITS. HE RECOMMENDED I KEEP MY FILTER CHANGED AND RELAYED IT SHOULD GET ME THROUGH THIS SUMMER. HE ALSO RECOMMENDED A HOME WARRANTY PRODUCT AT MY REQUEST. I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN. IM VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE.

After some brief Googling I thought I had figured out the problem with my A/C fan condenser, and was ready to buy a $250 motor on eBay and try to fix it myself. I'm glad I second guessed myself, and even gladder I called Stephen - his assistance saved me considerable time, money, was painless, and far more affordable than any competitor who would even give me a price on the phone. I will absolutely call Randall Family next time I have any HVAC problems.

Our downstairs A/C unit was not working, I did not know the cause. I called Stephen at approximately 3pm today (Saturday), and he said he was able to come over right away. He was there by 3:30, he quickly diagnosed the A/C unit fault, said the unit needed a new capacitor, and he was done by 4pm.

The technician arrived at the scheduled time and was very fast with the replacement (3 hours) considering he was working alone. The house is much more comfortable with the replacement. We are very pleased by the repair.

Got some help recently from Stephen Randall, the owner of the business. He gave me his time generously, i.e. he fielded over the phone some questions I had, in a sympathetic manner. (English translation: he's a nice guy :) A few days later when I called him over, he came as soon as he could and fixed my A/C issue that day. Charges were very reasonable. I very much appreciated how Mr. Randall helped me out that week-end, and certainly intend to call him the next time there's a HVAC issue at my house.

We started having a/c problems yesterday evening. Since summer is just about here (it's in the 90's during the days and 70's at night) we did not want to wait until Monday when the Home Warranty company could have someone come out for service. So, we took a look on Angie's List, and found Randall's Family Air. I called them because I saw that they have good ratings. Now I know why! Stephen came out this morning, he was prompt (here before 7:00am), very courteous and kind. Our a/c unit began working last night, so he didn't do any work on it, however, he did an overall inspection and told us that it is on it's last leg (we knew this, as our house is 26 years old and we have the original unit). He gave us a fair quote on a replacement unit, and advised that we just keep using the one we have now until about November, when it starts getting cold out again. He advised that we not use our furnace again, as it is rusted out and could have a carbon monoxide leak. I reallly appreciate his honesty and feel confident enough in his abilities that I will definitely call him back in November (hopefully our a/c unit will get us through the summer), and have the unit replaced by him. We had another quote for a replacement unit a few years back that was less, but I will call Stephen, because I really appreciate his honesty. This is the kind of contractor that I want to work with. He is AWESOME and I will definitely recommend him to others.

They were reimbursed by my home warranty and we also paid some extra money. I thought they were okay; he tried to overcharge us on a control unit/ thermostat so I decided to buy it online and install it. He was very helpful and prompt. He showed us some programming on the unit that we installed ourselves so I thought that was a plus sign. I don't really have anything negative about the company but he was not completely informative about the processes he was doing. The compressor that he put in was too large for the piece of concrete that it sits on. He brought a fake piece that was bigger and put it in for no charge so I think that was nice. I am pretty neutral on his services but will use him again in the future.

He was wonderful. His service was great. He was very prompt. He was very efficient. He was very reasonable in his price, and it was not over the top. He was great.

They responded quickly and fixed it quickly and efficiently. It was all good. The staff was helpful with answering questions.

They seemed to do fine and they seemed fair and honest. They came out when they said they would. They seemed professional and had credentials and everything.

We called them on Sat. afternoon. A tech was sent to the house on Monday morning. We rec'd their price by the afternoon. We decided to go with them on Tues. morning and they had the new unit installed by that evening. I was impressed with their quick response and cooperation with our renters. I felt they were very up front with their recommendations, giving us pros and cons with different solutions. Also, they were very price competive as well as offered an Angies List discount to members.

There is nothing I didn't dislike. They are a family owned business. They were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They worked very hard and were competent. I would use them again.

Randall AC did a great job with the work on our house. Stephen showed up nice and early and always acted in a professional manner. He started by adding some larger ducting and plenum, then zoned the upstairs/downstairs. After that, he installed the new thermostats and tested to make sure everything was working properly. A few days later, Stephen called me and asked if he could stop by and make one more change by straightening out some of the ductwork. This was offered on it's own and at no cost... he just thought it might help with cooling a little more. It was great finding someone willing to go the extra mile! Everything is running great and we are enjoying the cool air. Thanks Stephen!

Randall A/C was extremely professional (professional appearance, uniform, truck, etc) and detail-oriented. The job was done just as described, on time and the A/C works extremely well right now! Stephen followed up to make sure everything was working great and that I was happy. Will use them again.
